InesQor: You're right. Backups cannot be "targeted". However they can be stolen if someone randomly scrubs Amazon for private buckets, never knowing what they might find.

InesQor: Good point. But it's not like Amazon or Google or any other cloud storage service is totally inviolable either.

I know someone (who knows someone ) that steals files from people's Amazon lockers and releases them on pirat'ebay and blac'khat forums.
