CSTRR: They are politically in the 1800s, yet they have more human developmental index than your region will ever have in a millennium.
What is the use of your political wisdom if you can't differentiate between a crook and a better candidate?
What is the aim of politics? To have a region as economically and socially backward as the North? A region with an absymally decrepit human developmental index in all areas.
The whole world is going one way, but you think you guys in the backward desert are smarter than the rest of the world.? This election was clear even to a 2yr old baby.
You think your religious and ethnic politics will help you? You have voted against your own interests, but you don't know yet.
Or maybe in a corner of your mind, you know.
We will be here to see it.
And we will laugh.
Just pray tinubu performs.
Lord knows, I will laugh a lot of people to scorn. This long emotional outburst aptly buttressed my point. Absolutely irrelevant to my day-to-day and not well thought out. No respect for other people’s choices and oozes of stvpid superiority complex. Our way or no way. Nahhh, your emotional politics in the SE is inconsequential to grand scheme of things in this nation. Oya, move along. |

CSTRR: And that is fine.
Hold the govt you have voted for responsible. Let them give you the dividends of democracy.
Atleast that is what you voted for.
The south east will not join you in that struggle.
Good luck. Politically, the SE is irrelevant to me. And they haven’t proved me wrong over 4 decades. I can have dealings on other sphere of life, but politically they are still in 1800s. |

For some of us, we don’t follow the crowd. I in particular, over the years, have decided that i would never vote who the SE are voting, because they emotionally overdo things and unconsciously turn a good thing to bad. Like they did to GEJ. Another thing about them is herdthinking, and cajoling people to do stuff. Though in the North, there’s slightly herdthinking, they do that intelligently not like the SE that moves in the same direction politically out of hate, revenge and tribalism. |

TheFreshVanilla: I agree. Imagine Ekiti people massively voting for APC again, again? Some people have made oath with suffering. You lot need to change your mentality. You should not be insulting people for deciding to elect who they want. Everybody only has one vote and are voting whom they want. Obi would have won this election, but you and your ilks having a perverted and sick mentality insulting other people changed the minds of some of us. |

But can LP withstand the hurricane of Alimosho that is regarded as Tinubu country?
Overall, LP may win only 1 or 2 Local Government Areas in Lagos, but that will be all like the short effervescence of Andrew's Liver Salt.
Tinubu would win Lagos State with a margin beyond 400K votes. Leave them, that's the usual gragra. They did same with Atiku/Obi elections the last time. |

A confused, zero-ideologue, that believed his Northern heritage entitles him to presidency.

Anyone who continues to read this after the 5th paragraph might need to see a therapist. This is nonsense. That you disagree with him on other things doesn't mean you have to be illogical, even when he is making sense. The writer is so dumb to relegate the ruling of the Supreme Court vis a vis the Gov's broadcast. As number 1 citizen of his state, he has done the most fearless thing within the ambit of the law. Anything other you might have written down after the first few paragraphs is personal to you and irrelevant to Public consumption. |

BAT is the only one with vision and the only nightmare of criminals, 419, etc from SE. He cut their wings in Lagos and will do so in Nigeria by making our institutions work.
Once we have systems in place, we will begin to enjoy prosperity as a nation. These people who like to cut corners don't want that. They always want things to collapse so that they can continue to cut corners. |

Politics › Re: Naira Swap: Kaduna Files Contempt Of Court Suit Against FG Over Non-Compliance by spiralwedge(m): 1:39pm On Feb 15, 2023 |
IslamIsIdiotic: Buhari is the architect of this currency swap problem and it is causing the same untold hardship today that it caused in 1984 when people were committing suicide because of it and when a high ranking minister was sacked for simply begging Buhari not to go ahead with the policy.
Buhari is notorious for being a poor planner and for being extremely incompetent at executing policies.
We saw it with his poor implementation of the National Identification Number system where millions of Nigerians were besieging registration centres
We saw it with his poor implementation of the BVN where millions of Nigerians were sleeping in banking halls to get their BVN numbers.
We saw it with his poor implementation of SIM card registration where millions of Nigerians scrambled to save their lines from being blocked.
And now we're watching his utter incompetence unfold with the poor implementation of a completely unnecessary currency swap just a few weeks to a general election.
We haven't even mentioned the crippling fuel scarcity which is happening under his watch as a self appointed minister of petroleum. Let's see how APC goons will blame Emefiele for that as well.
Mind you, I'm not saying Emefiele is a Saint. Personally I keep wandering why he doesn't resign honourably. It's very possible Buhari is making it worth his while if you know what I mean😏
But if he was a rogue element like people are accusing him of being, then why hasn't Buhari sacked him? Buhari sacked Lawal Daura as head of the DSS and he sacked Ibrahim Lamorde and Ibrahim Magu as chairmen of the EFCC.
So why is Emefiele still keeping his job if he is implementing a different policy from what Aso Rock wants? If you have a working brain and you're not an APC member, I'm sure you know the answer to this question. CBN Gov cannot be constitutionally sacked except for violations of laid down guidelines. If he seeks approval all the time from the President, which i think he always does, he can’t be removed. The problem is both Emefiele and Buhari. Both are dumb af. And both are overzealous and are naïve politically. Emefiele makes the minister of finance totally redundant. For the first time in my lifetime, i don’t know who the minister of finance is. |
