And the reason for this is because he was beaten? How does it benefit the common man on the street? A serious NLC president can not and should not involve himself in partisan politics.
Oga, what partisan politics did he take part in?

The man organised a protest for non-payment of salaries, pensions and gratuities for many year. Was that a political event?

Hope is lying that he's not owing salaries, pensions and gratuities ... lies!

iyatrustee:
I am not saying there wasn't rigging but you need to know that governorship elections are local to the people.

They have more at stake and come out more to vote during it compared to presidential. There is a bias towards governorship that people even travel back home to vote.

So your logic of comparing votes given may be flawed and not necessarily be a factor of manipulation.

Exactly. The % even went up because it directly affects them. Voter apathy is a serious issue now
Madam, there was voter apathy everywhere in Imo State on Saturday.

Result sheets were prefilled and submitted to INEC. Such number of Imo people didn't turn up to vote for him.

Politics › Re: South South Is The Biggest Losers In Nigeria Political Arrangements by Splashme:
OP, honestly, we are the biggest fools in the Nigerian political arrangement - self-interest, greed and betrayals.

Imagine then how Amaechi partnered with some Yoruba media hawks to abuse and humiliate GEJ all in exchange for a Minister of Transportation.

Same Amaechi hurriedly completed the Lagos - Ibadan rail line and was the poster boy of Yoruba media then. Today, same Yorubas that praised him to high heavens before, rain insults on him for daring to criticise that criminal thief in Aso Rock

Fast-forward 2023, Wike stupidly consolidated same series of betrayals started by his Ikwerre brother all because of a minister of FCT
