So, in this translation of the Bible, Jephtha said "whatever" and used "it". This clearly shows that he WASN'T particular about what he was expecting i.e not necessarily a human. He was expecting ANYTHING.

I don't think you'll want to tell me that if it had been a goat that came out of the door of Jephthah's house to meet him after his victory against the Ammonites, Jephthah would have taken it [color=indigo]to serve God all its life in the temple as a virgin[/color] (regardless of the fact that it might have been fvcked countless times by numerous goats). Anyways, God has never commanded a human burnt offering. So, what I believed is what I've stated and it is in perfect harmony with other Scriptures. Jephthah never burnt his daughter, and that's it.

The Bible actually talks about presenting our bodies as living sacrifices, holy and acceptable before God which is reasonable service. Now that is clear enough and is the type that Samuel underwent. But there's no other explanation to burnt offering. It was simply burnt to crisp and its smoke went up to heaven where God savoured it.
That's the fate Jephthah's daughter suffered.

1) From the atheist's point of view, we are angry and tired of being oppressed in the name of God. Saturday and Sunday mornings, some bastard pastor is shouting into your bedroom with massive loudspeakers from his church. Your office/work friends trying to get you to their church. Every meeting or event must start with opening prayers. Churches not paying taxes, thereby increasing the need for govt to tax you more. If you say you're an atheist openly, you will be maltreated severely.


2) The only reprieve is to come and discuss with like minded non-religious people on the internet....but are we free to do that? No. We have christians barging in and calling us all sorts of demonic names.


3) So, on the internet where logic and evidence rules, we give back what is due to our tormentors-in-god.

4) Honestly, most of us just want to live our lives. I doubt anyone likes repeating dead arguments.....it gets tiring
