What I mean is that in matt 4:4 Jesus was in a conversation with Satan and he quoted the scriptures in the scriptures it said man not a particular church or particular set of disciples that passage basically refers to and signify that bread, or ordinary sustenance, is not necessary to support the life of man; that God can feed and sustain him by other means. Jesus was praying for his disciples in John 17 in this particular scenerio he was with his disciples and he wasn't quoting any Scripture he prayed that they might be kept from sin, strengthened for their duty, and brought safe to heaven. He did not pray that his disciples should be removed out of the world, that they might escape the rage of men, for they had a great work to do for the glory of God, and the benefit of mankind. My point is stop misquoting and stop using verses in the bible out of context. They are two separate stories and don't refer to a particular church.

Any church or organisation or denomination or sect that claims it is the only way to get salvation is in fact a false church. Nobody or organisation or denomination or sect should take the place of Jesus Christ. You don't have to belong to a particular church to be saved. The true Church is Jesus Christ

Funny. Ironically, you're the one quoting Scriptures out of context. For the Bible plainly says "man shall not live by bread alone but by every WORD that proceeds from the mouth of God". But in your twisted and ridiculous interpretation, you said it is talking of God providing in "other means". Really funny bro.

I know this is a hard saying to someone like you. But the truth is: the true Church is ONE!

PS: Look out for the Greek word translated "CHURCH", and its meaning. Help enlighten yourself by asking for Scriptural proofs that the Church is one. I don't argue blindly.

Hmm. Sorry friend, Jesus wasn't just talking to Satan, He was simply quoting the Scriptures (Deu. 8:3). The true Church practice & kept it as a way of life just as God wants.

As hard as it may be for you, the truth as contained in the Bible is that the true Church as established by Christ Himself (Matt. 16:18) is just ONE. Ask for these truths and answers shall be provided, not arguing blindly.

Have u even counted the ''thou shall nots'' in exodos 20 plus honour ur father and mother. the direct commands there are more than 10 that is why there is historically more than 1 way of numbering the commandment.

the part u call the 2nd commandment has 2 commands, the 1st is a general prohibition on all form of graven image, the 2nd part prohibit the worship of images. All christian i know do not follow the 1st part becos it was for the hardhearted jew who just came out of pagan land and were alway at a risk of worshiping any image they see. It is set aside by most christians, the second part is kept by all including catholics.

Yes, the second commandment forbids the worship of "images", whether of things in heaven, earth, or waters. The dictionary definition of an image is "a representation of the external form of a person or thing in art".

So when God forbids the making of, worshiping or bowing down to carved images, commonsense dictates that He wasn't speaking of one making a photograph of himself for probably identification purposes, but giving worship/adoration/reverence to such an image as either a representation of God Himself or a mediator. In other words, what is forbidden is the use of images as a connection in worshiping God.

Of course, you children of disobedience (Ephesians 2:2) will never hear any of it. You'll rather kneel, bow down and worship/adore your precious idols, thinking merely appropriating the name of either Jesus or Mary to them has transformed or makes them acceptable to God. After all, you're not worshiping but "honoring" the idols. One then wonders what differentiates you from a traditionalist who also "honors" his ancestors in his shrine.

4. Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor, and do all your work; but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the LORD your God.

7. You shall not commit adultery.

8. You shall not steal.

9. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.

10. You shall not covet your neighbor's house; you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, or his manservant, or his maidservant, or his ox, or his ass, or anything that is your neighbor's.

Here is the fraud as committed by your church: The Catholic church cunningly split the last commandment into two, i.e, as seen on the Bible version, your own 9th & 10th commandment are but just one. This was done by your church to make up for the original second commandment done away, as seen from the authentic Laws. Of course, the reason for this deceit is not far fetched. It is to cover up its sins instead of repenting, keep on blindfolding followers like you from seeing its many crimes against God- its indictment!

This is happening because you don't read your Bible but the lies in your catechism book, and the doctored and controlled bulletins dished out to you every Sunday!
