I must admit that this is the very first time Infinix comes up with a phone that greatly impresses me with the design. I’m not saying in any way that previous designs are so bad, but this is different. Infinix Hot S doesn’t feel like a cheap phone in hand, and a first look at the phone makes me suddenly start to justify the unusual price tag for a device in the Hot production line.
please make a review video.

Seems you don't understand this thing, so let me school you a bit. Blackberry doesn't release update to their softwares often as apple and android does. In a year, apple can release about 3 updates for their OS while blackberry does it once in a while. The last update blackberry did was around August or September last year if I'm correct and they haven't released any update this year at all. Now, the applications that are thretenin to stop their supports for BlackBerry and some old OS like symbian, Jave and Old IOS softwares have reasons for it. The reason is that, they release updates for their apps regularly and only the devices running latest OS can meet up with the new updates they are dishin our or planning to dish out. That's why they are thretenin to end support for BlackBerry cos blackberry doesn't release software updates often. I am a blackberry user and I own a blackberry passport. I was feelin bad too that WhatsApp are endin their support for BlackBerry soon and was thinkin how useless my fone will be if some apps end their Support for it despite how expensive the phone costs. But i feel good now hearing the news from blackberry that they haven't forgotten we OS 10 users and are workin on releasin an update for us soon. I can bet it with you that by this time next year, WhatsApp would still be workin perfectly on OS 10 blackberry users. Go write today's date down.
please read

you can keep believing, nothing wrong with that.

OS 10 users e.g Q10, Z10, Passport, Classic, Z30 etc will still be able to use whatsapp cos blackberry is plannin to roll out a software update for that OS soon. The current OS 10 version is 10.3.2 and blackberry is workin on releasin 10.3.3 fo just keep a ingers crossed and expect the update. And once that update is out and the user's update to the OS, WhatsApp would continue on the devices
has little to do with blackberry, WhatsApp are the ones that will cease to support blackberry.

Why installing Windows 10 when 2019 is closed by when Microsoft will release another stable version.

When MS release Vista many people think it will be stronger and better than Longhorn and XP, but its a woe until 3 years later Win7 fix earlier mistakes. In my Opinion Microsoft is yet to get it straight am waiting for he Next Windows higher than 10.
after the 29th of July you will have to pay for windows 10

It would have been easier for me if such an option did not exist . The banks should not have introduced it .

I no longer remember card when i see money in my wallet. But i will try to patronize her when my data runs out this time. I pray it does not happen in the Night.

please sir , tell her to deliver credit to your home.

am sure she would . they barely even make enough profit sef.

yes windows 8 & above come with windows defender which acts as an anti virus (although you need to activate it first). for windows 7 & below download Microsoft essentials (it's free & does the same).

na wa o !

so this is globacom 's new mode of operation, why I am really pissed is because I never read text messages (I usually just delete because they are mostly spam) except from banks.

I read this text by mistake , and I was shocked when I checked my credit & realised they actually deducted #100 from my credit.
PhonesHow Globacom Deceitfully Deducted From My Call Credit by spoilerx(op):
at exactly 8:39 yesterday evening i received this text

" Your callertune service has been renewed for 30 days and you have been charged N 100. Thank you for using the service. "

from this number 7728 on my glo line. ONE HUNDRED NAIRA was deducted from my account.

I have never in my life used or subscribed for the caller tunes service , I called customer service this morning after being put on hold for over 15 minutes.

The customer service rep told me to text DEREG to 7728 to deregister from the service, he also said GLO WOULD NOT REFUND MY CREDIT.

I repeat he said " GLO WOULD NOT REFUND MY CREDIT"

please how do I cc mods to place this on front-page ?

probably depends on your area.
at mine glo is super & 5K for 12GB .
but glo needs to do more as per consistent network performance in all areas.

they have one customer care email that goes straight to their transmission guys . that's the better option than the regular customer service.

Nice write up. I play a lot of games online. so obviously I need to have a static IP address. Do I get it from my ISP or set it up myself inside my router?
you don't need a static IP for that, unless you are hosting servers that you want to access remotely

I'm still trying to come to terms with how you compared this W4 camera to LG G3. Like the actual LG G3? That's a joke. Maybe it's a different version biko.

The picture isn't shabby, but it's not great either. And the LG processes better quality pictures than that.
You just committed a phone blunder... pls don't do that again sad

You should calm down when you are being corrected of what you don't know . so if I am sending a file through NFC TO NFC Communincation the WIFI direct I toggled OFF will eventually toggle ON or secretly be working in background aiding the NFC transmission ?.

Yes , this is not a new knowledge and it's no rocket science .NFC ,BLUETHOOT ,WIFI work independently . I stand to be corrected .

Why don't you ask yourself why it is necessary to maintain a close proximity between the transmitter and the reciever before and during the communication. Except you are telling me WIFI direct required a too close proximity .
My point is NFC doesn't transfer heavy files , WIFI direct does.
it will only transfer small size file within a short range as u mentioned, a combo of NFC & WIFI direct is the reason u can send large files with it.

NFC alone will be slow like infrared, for large files it performs like a hand over to WIFI direct or probably Bluetooth.
PhonesRe: What Is Hotknot And How To Share Files Via Hotknot? by spoilerx: 8:34am On May 05, 2016
Electronzeez:
I too sabi de worry you , not all phones have near field communication capability . but most android phones has WIFI direct .

You can mostly find NFC function on high end smart phone .
NFC isn't what sends the data files & co , WiFi direct does. NFC justs makes identification easier eg touch 2 devices to send a file.

and stop making it sound like this is new.
my old Samsung S3(years back) could do this out of the box

Dawatech:
Recent Android phones from the Tecno, Infinix, Gionee, Samsung, HTC, Xiaomi and many now comes with the Hotknot feature which is a rarely used feature in our phones today largely because we may not know what it does. This technology allows the capacitive touchscreen on smartphones to interact, thus different types of data can be transferred

HotKnot is a connectivity option which is also based on near-field communication technology like NFC. However, in order for the tech to work well the smartphones must be placed in close proximity at least within 1 centimeter range. Once that
connection has been established between the two devices, then data can be exchanged.
How to use Hotknot to share files

Share files Via HotKnot

The first thing to note is you must have a HotKnot enabled smartphone and the smartphone you are about to pair with must have the same connectivity too. Then you should know how to switch HotKnot on and off.

Secondly, to enable HotKnot on your smartphone, swipe the screen down to access the quick settings panel and toggle HotKnot on or off. You can also go the long way by navigating
to Setting >All > HotKnot to switch on. A question comes up instantly saying “Allow data exchange when the screen Touches another device?”

Immediately you toggle HotKnot on, locate the file you want to share. Once you have spotted the file, look for the share button below or above the file you want to share. Once you tap the HotKnot share button, the final instruction comes up.

After clicking on the HotKnot share button, both smartphones are placed screen-to-screen to initiate the transfer and you would asked to accept transfer when the whole process is done. Both smartphones can finally be put apart after the transfer. The transfer speed is really superb.

What do you think of HotKnot, have you been using it before? Kindly share your thought about this in the comment box bellow.
