OP, All depend on location. If it's anywhere from Ore to Ondo, cocoa is the best. If it's anywhere in Ikale, esp Irele I would advice you rent Palm plantation (pupuru is also lucrative if you can bag it).
Vegetable, maize is good in Ifon/Owo.

My honest opinion is let that your brother calm down.

My sister beat cancer only to be snatched away by ordinary malaria fever due to broken down immune system. Her white blood cell was badly dealt with by the series of chemoteraphy she underwent.
