goldcoinhub: A video has surfaced on the internet showing Liverpool attacker Sadio Mane cleaning toilet and wudhu area of a mosque just hours after scoring in his side's Premier League win over Leicester.
Mane, who is paid £90,000 a week at Anfield, fired home the first goal in Liverpool's 2-1 win over the Foxes at the King Power Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
However, footage has now emerged of him helping to clean his local mosque and the clip has gone viral on social media, gaining 9,000 retweets and 18,000 likes on Twitter.
The video shows Mane filling buckets with water as a young boy grabs hold of a pressure washer to clean the floor. The wudhu area is where Muslims perform the washing ritual before prayer.
According to viewers on social media, the footage was captured at the Al-Rahma mosque in Liverpool. Mane is a devout Muslim and celebrates goals by performing sujood - touching his head on the floor and worshipping.
The 26-year-old grew up in the small village of Bambali, in the south of Senegal, where his father was the imam at the local mosque.
When a Senegalese reporter visited the region after Mane signed for Liverpool in 2016, he was told that the former Southampton winger had recently paid for the mosque to be reconstructed.

bad deal don't know why ronaldo de lima bought a club in Spain...he should av bought a club in league 1 in england get a good english manager and invest in them though it will cost him more than Valladolid of course he is a renowned player he will able to borrow then purchase once hlthey get promoted to the championship though it will take him time but he will not regret it..but buying a club in Spain is bad investment there tax rate is high and their TV rights is immensely poor the only way he can make money from the club is to sign B players from Benfica or sign a partnership deal with Corinthians and Sao Paolo gremio and co and get their players to play for Valladolid if they perform he will make money from their sales aside that Spanish teams are sh** when it comes to investment |

tunjilana: Hello, the way things are going and the way things will be in the future, it wont be a matter of who should but who can. If you seek equality, seek it in totality and don't shoot yourself in the foot by marrying someone who cant be equal to you or help u seek your desired life...that is if you are really progressive and forward thinking oooo...In some countries where people have to work many jobs to survive...couples work around their schedules to be able to baby sit, cook, do laundry and all together....so u are planning to have your wife on day when u are on night and vice versa and expect her to still be the one worrying about domestics alone!...
As for the women, marriage is about companionship not having a man pay your bills cos u take care of his domestics. The world is gradually moving away from the point where domestics are such a big deal...wish a washing machine, food processor, vacuum e.t.c... a lot can be done in minutes...besides the average family size is shrinking, most men dont want more than 2 kids...probably coming generation will be 1...So that idea of I am giving him a family is gradually shrinking... I don't think house domestics is an issue in relationship or marriage... basically if the husband and wife are the busy type they would only clean on weekends unless if kids are involved but I hate it when couples complain abt kids welfare and health is a problem money to take care of kids or time to take care of their health....when u plan your time I don't think it should be a problem but a lot of couples get themselves involved in so many activities which limits their time a lot church, ceremonial and social activities aside your job what time will u have to take care of yourself and kids when u indulge yourself in so much activities.... having a family is fun if are a man and woman who plan wisely and know how to cope with unforseen contingencies.....husband and wife must be able to maximize limited time and money...before the advent of technology such dishwasher vacuum washing machine food processor, couples were surviving...some even employ maid...u can even employ a maid that would be coming 3 a week to clean your household...this is common among the foreigners... if don't have enough money learn to utilize your time |
Romance › Re: Why Are There Too Many Single Ladies These Days? by sprints2: 1:49pm On Sep 03, 2018 |
tunjilana: Most empowered women feel they don't need a man because they have been raised to see a man's usefulness to be that of a bill payer.
A lot of men have started seeing marriage as financial slavery because most women won't even be loyal and supportive when the chips are down.
The problem is everyone is gradually embracing equality but the lines of engagement is still not clearly defined and conflicts here and there over the roles each person should play in this emerging new order.
As with everything new, people will gradually decide to siddon look till it is clear how to relate in this era of equal opportunities and equal expectations, however won't they procreate?...Answer is "they will" hence the rise in baby mamaism...
In the future rules of engagement will be clearly defined so men stop seeing marriage as a medium to have a woman cook his meals and do his laundry forever(even though lot of men have evolved from this already with the use of domestic help and machines) Likewise women will stop seeing marriage as a means to evade bills forever(A lot of women are yet to leave this spot)
When the lines are no longer blurry, a new type of cooperative marriage is what we will get environment is changing I certainly agree with your point on the new order of marriage but I think modern civilization has caused a serious barricade in our today marriages...but why would I have a wife that can't cook for us that's utterly rubbish if she doesnt know how to cook i will teach her or subcribe for her to learn how to cook on youtube or better still send her to culinary school but I have seen majority of ladies keep saying I can't be cooking for my husband that she would look like a slave...the concept of marriage is the man is the head of the house and has every right over the woman well not to the extent of turning her into a muppet.. about doing other chores like taking care of kids, laundry, paying bills I think it should be collective and done cooperatively..it is even wrong for a wife to be wasing her husband clothes...cloth that you used u will be giving it to your wife to wash is wrong...but cooking should be done mainly by the wife but at times the husband can cook to assist not just to assist but to show sign of love...because the kids will imitate what they see...but if they see their dad cooking and washing their mummy clothes, the kids will feel its normal.... |
Romance › Re: Why Are There Too Many Single Ladies These Days? by sprints2: 1:34pm On Sep 03, 2018 |
samguru: Alot of factors are contributing to these
1. The rate at which our ladies are not submissive to their husbands is alarming as a result, the violent and immature guys will resolve to beating their wives to demand submissiveness.
2. Men who have attained marriageable ages are scared of getting married as the rate at which wives are killing their husbands is disturbing.
3.women have failed to realise that their divine purpose on Earth is to completement men and not to compete with men,but nowadays our women will want to hijack the control of family from their husbands and render their husbands useless and we all know men have this natural ego of being domineering in their homes.
4. Westernization has reconfigured the thinking of our women and made them to believe divorce is normal even when resolvable and petty disagreements happen the next thing our women's minds is divorce.
All these and more are the reasons our ladies are single and some of them think they are happy being single but I can bet with my life that no man or woman who has tasted sex can hold body for six months or more. If you know this why not resolve whatever issue you have with your husband/wife and keep living together happily. I have actually been to a church where the pastor(woman) was preaching any woman who is having serious issues with her hisabnd or not enjoying her marriage should live and not die of sorrow...I just remembered I never read any verse in the bible that said a woman should leave her husband because of misunderstanding and domestic violence... although the woman have the rights to defend herself in cases of domestic violence but she can as well report the matter to the husband's family or if the husband proves adamant she can leave...majority of the single women we have nowadays are either from broken homes or are not happy with the way their fathers treated their mothers...marriage in Nigeria nowadays is very tricky if both parties don't complement each other...a marriage where the wife is doing the job of the breadwinner is a failed marriage |
