iamoyindamola: Those saying city are not weaker than last season because they lost mahrez and gungodan are lying Thank you. That's just the fact. Whether they win the league again or not does not mean we are wrong. It means the other teams didn't do what they needed to do. I expect Arsenal to win the league. We are not weaker than Man City as far as I am concerned. If we didn't win it, then we didn't do well. Simple. |

Jodera: I just dey look people wey dey talk say Man city are weaker dey laff.
Worst still is that na every year most people dey talk this thing That I said they are weaker than last season does not mean they are weak. They lost Gundogan and Mahrez and signed just Kovacic who is not better than any of those two. Even if they sign Paqueta they are still weaker. Connect this with Arsenal and Man United who have both improved. |

Politics › Re: A New Country Is Forming In West Africa And It Will Shake The World by Spy360(m): 11:20am On Aug 11, 2023 |
LocalStandard1: There is a wave going on in Africa, something is being born around us and I find it surprising and strange that Nigeria is asleep and clueless about it.
Firstly lets go to East Africa. The nations of Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, South South, Rwanda, Congo, Burundi are already in talks and are already planning to form a single country which boarders will literally cut across Africa. When it happens this will automatically leap them to the position of the 'Giants of Africa', this time a true giant in many spheres comprising of some of the fastest growing economies in the world.
But if you've been following at list the coup in Niger Republic maybe you most have seen a new gang-up happening right around Nigeria with our neighbors. Mali, Borkina Faso, Guinea and maybe soon even Niger Republic are in talks to form a new Confederation. Yes, they are planning on coming together as a single country, and maybe more are to join later on.
This was said from the horse's mouth himself, Captain Ibrahim Traore, the President of Borkina Faso. Say whatever you want but after listening to him and observing the mood and the atmosphere around Africa I will tell you African countries are literally waking up and they are shaking off the West away from them real quickly and really strongly.
Leaders, younger and visionary leaders are literally springing up boldly and fearlessly all around Africa and are chatting new paths, different paths for themselves and their people. Literally all round Black Africa and are movements that's only comparable with the fight for independence of the 1900s of African countries. Looking at the contributions of Russia and China I will say history is being repeated.
You see, I am Nigerian but I will tell you I am beginning to pay more attention to happenings and developments around Africa than anything in Nigeria itself, and there are seriously big initiatives that's cracking and shaking the West in all spheres.
I believe as things continue like this ten years from now Nigeria will be left out, it is already happening, Nigeria will be dwarved by even the most average country in Africa.
The dollars is shaky, Western countries are insecure and uncertain about their future with the continues rising inflations and recessions, people in the 'Global South' are literally turning their backs on Western countries and abandoning them to their vices. Russia seems to single handedly be shaking the entire NATO and building an army of supporters and sympathizers all around the world while giving more countries, even smaller ones the boldness to face even America to it face and tell them off. The BRICS aliance is sweeping nations and gathering the entire developing nations to themselves, while countries are steadily abandoning the dollars, pounds and Euros, even the French President Macron is pleading to join the Union but turned down.
Empires rise and fall, nations grow to the moon and still collapse, less than a hundred years ago it was Britain, yesterday it was the USA, the world is changing right in front of us. But what is Nigeria really doing to take advantage of this fine opportunity?I can't see anything!!! Nigeria is still battling with whether to allow an 82year old drug criminal rule for 8years simply because of 'emi lokan' 👁️👃👁️ Judiciary |

mostob: Barela won't pass 60m bro. Nobody will pay 100m for Barela. Balogun is valued at 50m and Tomi should be around 25m. Arsenal fans are already in a frenzy with that rumour. Don't worry Inter won't even accept. They value him more than those two. Arsenal only used it to try luck or chase Inter away. |

mostob: We are not talking about quality, we are talking about evaluation. Tomi and Balogun for Barela is somehow to me. IMO Balogun is even more valuable than Barela. Olunde wey United sign for 75m, how many goals did he scored last season? Make I go check first. Balogun is good but not tested. I believe he will be far more valuable by this time next year if given the chance. In a time that CM are going for 105million, Barela will be priced around that range or a little lower. As for Tomi he is injury prone and so a risk. Balogun and Tomi will not add up to 80m. |

Jodera: Some things you guys will need to make peace in this team
1... Jesus always dropping deep no matter who we sign (Spy I'm looking at you)
2.. White to Mostly play RB (oyindamola I'm looking at you)
Y'all are welcome Jesus will typically drop deep. No question about that. That's his method and it's the reason why Nketiah is not getting enough chances despite being a better poacher. When a horse like box to box midfielder comes he will cover for Nketiah in that area. That's why I said he will benefit more. |

Jodera: Are you serious??
To me, Holding should Go, Na him dey block quality space that maybe you're thinking Tomi is surplus to requirement I will add Holding self to give it weight. Not that both Balogun and Tomi aren't good, but looking at Arsenal squad now, I will make do more with Barela. With him, Jesus will not need to drop deep too often. Someone like Nketiah will shine. |

BlueRayDick: U go bench timber ? No You can replace Timber with White or Zinchenko. The point is that we have a stronger bench which was our weakness last season. Notice I didn't include ESR, Nelson, Vieira, Tomiyasu, Holding, etc That's because they didn't add much last season in terms of quality or availability. |

Don't forget players like saka, odegaard will play till they are worn out Apart from other trophies which I will consider bonus, Arsenal should win at least one of UCL or PL. The best team last season in Europe by far was Man City and as far as I am concerned, we have matched them in quality and depth. Man City first 11: Elderson, Walker, Stones, Akanji, Ake, Rodri, Gundogan Kovacic, KDB, Silva, Grealish, Haaland. Bench: Laporte, Dias, Mahrez, Foden, Alvarez In: nil Arsenal first 11: Ramsdale, White, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko, Xhaka Rice, Partey, Odegaard, Saka, Martinelli, Jesus Bench: Jorginho, Nketiah, Trossard, In: Timber, Havertz, |
