there is no harm in trying him there bro.
We are still saying the same thing. When I said try the 'yoots', you complained about trying, now you don't mind trying because you want Luiz. We keep trying.

BlueRayDick:
I think its obvious we have just one decent midfielder in the mould of Torriera. Xhaka is just not good enough for Arsenal and any other top club in the league.
Guendouzi is at best a bench player who should only be introduced when we are in a comfortable lead to come on and help us extend the lead or maintain a balanced game till the final whistle. I didn't mention Willock because I don't rate him. He's not shown any reason why he should be considered in any role in that middle. I believe bringing in a big guy this January to partner Torriera will serve as a palliative measure and trying Luiz once in a while in the middle won't be a bad thing. At least he can help with his long passes which Xhaka seem not be getting right again and he also knows when to close down an opposition which Xhaka has refused to do.

As regards our defense, I think these guys are just not good enough. A washed out Luiz, non-ball-playing Sokratis and always confused Chambers won't get us anywhere. We will keep conceding no matter how many goals the forward players can produce. I believe letting Mustafi go this January and bringing in a decent CB to partner Holding in that back line would be a reasonable thing to do.

I think the team should plan for life after Ozil. He's never been the same since Sanchez left. He's like a worker that can't be sacked, hence no motivating factor to spur him own. We need to get someone who has hunger and desires to excel.

We all know the club will not splash cash during January transfer window, but If we can at least solve these two positions January , we can build on it by finishing well in the league which can then attract decent players come the end of the season.
I sincerely believe that our current crop of players can do better than they are now under the right manager. Man to man we are not worse than the likes of Sheffield, Wolves or even Leicester. See how Everton is picking up under Ferguson.

Our players just need a strong coach who can reformat their brains and give them the right formations that can suit their abilities.

By the way, all these calls for Luiz to play as a dm, I hope you guys will not come back and complain about how shiit he is in that position.

If you are going to play inverted wingers then it's better you allow your fullbacks space to cross, if not play Pepe on LW and Martinelli on RW. Remove Ozil for Lacazette and Auba drop inside the hole.

Do you see why @Kokane would rather Xhaka continue to play? This game buttresses his argument and it is a legitimate one if you ask me.
You can never tell. Such hasty conclusions as this leave us with lots of regrets. Xhakawas terrible in the last match. As in terrible and that was against West Ham.

Luiz I can understand but if he is needed at cb then not possible.
Ceballos? As a double pivot midfield won't work.

Fact is we have to choose between Xhaka and Guen.

I said it here earlier this season that I expected him to get Xhaka’s replacement, one who can partner Torreira. A lot of peeps can attest to that. That was my ish with Emery.
You don't like Xhaka, you don't want Guen so who do you want to pair with Torriera?

Mavropanos did not show any reason why he should get a place ahead of any of those two tonight.

In fact those two played better than he did when the 3 of them were on the pitch. He kicked the ball in the path of an attacking player twice in the first half. He was shaky.
I will give him benefit of doubt having not played for long.

its even once u are above 23.

Reason we have the under 19, under 21 and under 23 tournaments as youth competition. Once u are above 23 ur jungle don suppose mature.

Sod above 23 u are no longer a youth player in football context.
FIFA youth awards what's the age range? I think its below 23 at start of season. You right.

ur last line is the reason I want him moved up. He’s got the pass and can add something defensively from midfield perspective.
He has been decent when playing that role. And it remains a viable option for the coach to explore. With a lack of proper DMs I expect that option to have been tried by now.
