I just hope Auba and Laca aren’t shoehorned into the team just because it’s claimed they want to play with each other.

That to me will be another mistake by Emery.Why?It’s because none of Laca or Auba are good enough as “wingers”.Their 1v1 decision making on the wing is poor from what I’ve seen from both before they came to Arsenal and they also lack creativity at the wing.

We must not force both into one team just because they are top players.Its not sustainable and won’t work.

It may look good on paper but not on the pitch, and this calls for going all out for a very fast, strong natural winger in the next summers.

Xhaka should not start again Ramsey and torreira should be starting and Ozil in middle auba and mhzi for wing.
We were very lucky westham are missing chances and cech saved the day.

Others were considered, for example both Laca and Auba gets to operate as forwards as well as Iwobi who gets to play in the centre.

Better still, a 3412 would look good if you love the wingplay so much. Bellerin would benefit alot in the setup also. Besides, Wenger used this setup last season and I think the team had great time with the setup and amassed lot of points. Both Ozil and Sanchez looked good, even Xhaka. Now, you've got a better player than Xhaka in Guendouzi.

Anyway na you sabi.

Someone said something similar to this formation particularly focusing on Ozil the other day. Although I'm a football novice, but I think this would be great if put into use.

This formation is only good when we are attacking
when we are defending it will be counter productive. Ozil will be useless in defending and Mhiki will expose Bellerin when he's doing his runs down the right flank
