Wenger will always remain a below par foot ball manager. He can never win any major trophy in his remaining life time.

When Arsenal scored through Verrati own goal, PSG pounded us for the next 20 minutes. Coquelin was on card and was not making tackles, Iwobi was running out of steam, PSG threw men forward and choked our midfield and was knocking on our goal.

A good manager would know that the team can't withstand that pressure, he would have changed Coquelin for Xhaka, Iwobi for Chamberlain( to catch PSG on counter and pin back their rampaging full backs).

This would have salvaged that game. I was screaming and crying for those changes where I was watching the match.

But we all know that Wenger is a useless manager who makes changes only after 75mins and not according to the dictate of the match, and because of this, Arsenal will continue to pay.

Problem is that Arsenal fans have short term memory. One good match against Bournemouth now, and they all forget how bad Wenger has been, and will always be.
Any World class manager will most times out Fox Wenger, which is why Arsenal gets outgun in these high profile matches with top notch coaches time and again.

Exactly, Wenger is finished o. If you can have this sense and Wenger doesn't, wetin remain again?

Personally, I too was crying for the same changes. We saw the same thing happen against Man Utd when we were under pressure for about 20mins. That moving Ramsey infield and Sanchez to RW would have stopped Valencia's pounding on our defence. But Wenger kept mute until Mata scored.

Hope Arsenal board is observing this nonsense.

If Walcott was good enough to start, Iwobi would have stayed on the bench. After his goal against Manure, everyone knew Giroud would start against PSG.

Can't Ozil play in deep midfield in a 4-4-2? He has good passing and transition. Chance creation and control. Ozil thrives when he is away from opposition.

What u get when u start a combo of Giroud and Ramsey.

I've always said this, teams that understand the game will always play a high defensive line when they see Giroud and the reason is obvious. Anytime u see Giroud being put thru far away from the post and u wanna think he has beaten the defenders with pace just know he's offside.
With Walcott fit Wenger chose to bench him just to accommodate Giroud and Ramsey. Hope y'all see y I keep saying Wenger is behind Walcott's inconsistency.

Giroud had a case to start. 5goals in 5games, 9goals with 11 shots on target.

It was actually Iwobi who took Walcott's place not Ramsey or Giroud. Ramsey, meanwhile is our best option at CM box to box till Cazorla returns.

You are right when you said teams defend high when they see Giroud- due to lack of pace. I feel it is better to start Sanchez as 9 against top teams, since they do come out, and Giroud against lower teams that defend deep.

Last night's result was not good enough, but then we have little to lose.

Finish first face Bayern or Madrid, finish second face Barca or Atletico. Not much difference.

Elneny is supposed to be a backup to Cazorla due to passing ability. But Cazorla is just toooo goooood.

Ramsey remains an option in CM but plays differently from Cazorla being more direct.

Wenger knows this, I think he rested Iwobi for midweek. He must have place more importance to PSG game than Manure.

Lack of wing play nearly cost us this match.

Our two wingers( Ramsey and Walcott) were both useless. They couldn't get past their first marker for once throughout the match.

The result was that we lost our width, we couldn't stretch United backline and this even gave their full backs the impetus to bomb forward.

Having a useless player like Walcott with no technical ability to wriggle through tight spaces and beat his marker is bad, but Wenger compounded our woes when he killed the other wing too by playing Ramsey, instead of Iwobi.

This Wenger Ramsey favoritism will be Arsenal undoing.

Walcott was useless throughout the first half, he had no business staying on the pitch till 60 mins, but that's exactly what Wenger did.

United is weak, yet Wenger was so tactically inept that he made them look world class. At a point, it looked like we were up against Barcelona.

Arsenal is not ever going to win a major trophy with Wenger in charge. Top managers would always out wit him.
