Glo has widest data coverage in Ghana - COO

Glo Mobile Ghana has scored another first as it announced that it has 3.5G data coverage in over 80% of the country, making it the operator with the widest and fastest data network coverage in the country.

This assertion was made by the Chief Operating Officer of Glo Mobile Ghana, George Andah during the media launch of the network in Accra, adding that this will give Ghanaians the opportunity to have Internet assess in virtually every major part of the country.

Andah said data and Internet are the future of telecoms in Africa and remains a veritable tool that will drive social-economic development in the continent. He said Glo Mobile Ghana has invested in cutting-edge technology that provides customers with jet-speed internet and data services.

“The presence of Glo in Ghana will create a lot of excitement among the stakeholders and unleash potentials for economic and social development of the country. With the state-of-the-art network that is technically dimensioned to offer seamless connection, we guarantee high quality voice and data network service that is comparable to any network in the world. We believe that this will accelerate social and economic growth in the country,” he said.

Glo Mobile Ghana has made robust investment on network infrastructure that will drive premium service offerings such as speed of uploads and downloads as well as flexible and convenient data bundling for its different consumer segments.

Its network boasts of the latest broadband technology such as Next Generation Networks, 1,400 state-of-the-art Base Transceiver Stations (BTS), four ultra modern Switches and 18 Base Switching Centres (BSC). Transmission of calls and data on these systems will be back-boned by the high-capacity Glo 1 submarine cable and the nationwide fibre-optic ring cable covering 3,100 kilometres.

“All these have the capacity to carry traffic for up to 10 million lines at a time,” said Andah, adding that “the network has planned to increase its BTS to 2,300 by the end of 2012, which will position it as the number one operator in network coverage in Ghana.”

Any boby in the house again...

I was married just five month back,i love my wife very much but She's an angry woman always when little things come across us. I am a believer,i have so many responsibilities(Working six hour a day,Sunday school Choir director,Fellowship member, and a Student again), every day she complaint about my activities, which she claim that i am not given her full attention although she's five month pregnant now. To say the fact no matter how,i will make sure that every day i gave her 4-5 hours.So many time she's asking me to divorce her,while i am a devoted Christian i hate any things divorce and i hate going out moving after many young ladies out their cos my Bible is against it.She's accusing me the moment we quarrel even beyond expectation(mum/dad), while both of them passed away 1-3 years back respectively.But all of these i hold my temper, and don't want third party to interfere.I always gave her 100% support. One thing i trusted her is that since we had started our relationship i had never met her with a man and she's doing the right things which every man admire, such as:Clean up,delicious cook,and never attempted to play with my Job cos she's supporting me when ever i need any help(cos both of us we are monthly earner), etc..
