6) Attestation and confirmation is done, block fund turns to cash covering the cost of logistics and documentation.
7) Samples are taken by buyer’s inspectors for Q &Q at buyers cost.
Upon successful result of Q&Q report seller provides a commercial invoice as per quantity ascertained from Q&Q analysis.
9) Buyer pays total cost of product via MT103, all agents, facilitators are paid as per SPA.
10) Contract ends or rolled over if desired.

1. Buyer signs contract.

3. Seller gives 2%PB.
4. Seller loads vessel in buyers name.
5. Vessel sails to buyers POD.

Covenant University and an international capacity development and consulting firm, Canada Executive Management and Professional Centre (CEMP), have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on a partnership that will see the University running Professional Management Courses and its students enjoying research grants from international agencies.


Speaking at the MoU signing ceremony on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at the University campus in Ota, Ogun State, the Vice-President, International Engagement, CEMP, Dr. Yomi Oyekoya, said that, the formal agreement between his organization and Covenant University entails the University starting Project Management courses in partnership with the Project Management Institute (PMI) in the United States.

The PMI, he explained, gives out a Registered Education Provider (REP) license to institutions to run Project Management courses and Covenant University would be granted a similar license very soon.

No other organization, according to Dr. Oyekoya, runs Project Management Courses like the PMI. “In Nigeria, many people travel abroad to take the courses. Some universities in Nigeria currently have Project Management Courses but the certificate is not recognized abroad. However, PMI’s certificate is recognized all over the world,” he said.

Running the Project Management Courses in Covenant University, he enthused, will draw many people, especially top executives, to the University. “No institution in Nigeria has the PMI Registered Education Provider license. Covenant University will be the first in Nigeria and third in Africa to have the license,” he added.

Expressing his happiness that Covenant University was joining the league of top universities in the world to start Project Management Certification, the CEMP representative noted that project management fits into every discipline and it’s for everybody.

Dr. Oyekoya further stated that aside the plan for Covenant University to run Project Management Courses, CEMP had in a bid to help the University achieve its goals under the Research, Citation, Innovation and Teaching (ReCiTe) Agenda, discovered the availability of a grant in the region of $5 billion, from which students of African universities, including Covenant University can benefit.

Following the brief MoU signing ceremony, which was supervised by members of the Covenant University legal team, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor AAA. Atayero, in his remarks, expressed optimism that with the University being the third in Africa to get the PMI Registered Education Provider license, it will take the institution to a new height.

“This keys into the University’s Vision of being one of the top 10 universities in the world in another five years; I pray it quickens the speed of its delivery,” said the Vice-Chancellor.

Dr. Oyekoya was accompanied to the event by CEMP’s Brand Communication Director, Dr. Kunle Hamilton; Head, International Business Research, Dr. Babajimi Hammond; Legal Adviser, Ms. Bunmi Ogunye; and Creative Manager, Mr. Owodunni Otunuga.

It all started on the 15th of February 2017 after the death of a 300lvl student, for which the clinic staffs on duty that night were faulted for the unfortunate incidence this led to a riot in the school as some students took the laws into their hands by setting the school clinic ablaze and other structures vandalized.
This led to the immediate discharge of students from the school premises and hostel for two weeks as it was earlier rumored but after series of meetings by the management 18th of march 2017 was set as the resumption date for which all students of the university excluding school of agric 400lvl, and ITE Dept 400lvl etc. are asked to pay the sum of 4,950 for the damages caused this money is too much we ask that the government looked into this matter.
Let's do a little mathematics here.
I take just on department as a sample space.
They asked us to 4950 for damages

4950*130 approximately students = 643500

643500*6 departments in sch of environmental= 3,861000
3,861000*5 levels (100_500) = 19,305,000
that's 19.3million.

I received this afternoon with a great dismay the latest SUG PRESS RELEASE urging students to keen into the payment of the damages spelt out by the School or risk condonation .
It is so appalling that the so-called Unionist whom we asked them to fight on our behalf are not meeting up with their responsibility rather they are dancing to the tune of the School Management.

I thought this administration will make a difference but to my greatest dismay they are tolling the line of their predecessors, they should be able to differentiate between our rights and privileges and shouldn't make it seems they or the School Management are doing us any good.

We pay Maintenance fee
We pay for Insurance
Year in Year out
And now we to pay for damages again and the Union feel your Five Man Students representative Committee and fight for the effective utilization of the money Students are to pay,
Students representatives who can't fight when they have the crowd with them ,Is it when they sit down at the comfort of a banquet Hall that they will fight for our right,When we surely know that courtesy demands that when you are eating you don't talk.
Not acting as if I don't know the challenges that is in the Union, am fully aware of the eating and drinking that is going at the student affairs division but at the same time you must not accept any that comes from the Management just like that, because we are not Zombies and neither are we in the barracks where we obey the last order.

Conclusively, the Students Union can still do something 4th of March is about 240 hours to commencement of the payment ,you can stand your ground that unless the school give account of how the above list fees which are being deducted from students' School fees annually then we wouldn't another one.
