People use this verse to claim that Jesus didn't condemn tithing Matt 23:23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for you pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, justice, mercy, and faith: these ought you to have done, and not to leave the other undone. Here's a similar thing: Matt 8:3-4 Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. "I am willing," he said. "Be clean!" Immediately he was cured of his leprosy. Then Jesus said to him, "See that you don't tell anyone. But go, show yourself to the priest and offer the gift Moses commanded, as a testimony to them." So anyone who says you must tithe because Jesus said so in Matt 23:23 or Luke 11:42 should instruct someone cured of a skin disease to do as Jesus said in Matt 8:4 and offer the gift that Moses commanded: Lev 14:1-32 The Lord said to Moses, 2 “These are the regulations for the diseased person at the time of his ceremonial cleansing, when he is brought to the priest: 3 The priest is to go outside the camp and examine him. If the person has been healed of his infectious skin disease,[a] 4 the priest shall order that two live clean birds and some cedar wood, scarlet yarn and hyssop be brought for the one to be cleansed. 5 Then the priest shall order that one of the birds be killed over fresh water in a clay pot. 6 He is then to take the live bird and dip it, together with the cedar wood, the scarlet yarn and the hyssop, into the blood of the bird that was killed over the fresh water. 7 Seven times he shall sprinkle the one to be cleansed of the infectious disease and pronounce him clean. Then he is to release the live bird in the open fields. 8 “The person to be cleansed must wash his clothes, shave off all his hair and bathe with water; then he will be ceremonially clean. After this he may come into the camp, but he must stay outside his tent for seven days. 9 On the seventh day he must shave off all his hair; he must shave his head, his beard, his eyebrows and the rest of his hair. He must wash his clothes and bathe himself with water, and he will be clean. 10 “On the eighth day he must bring two male lambs and one ewe lamb a year old, each without defect, along with three-tenths of an ephah[b] of fine flour mixed with oil for a grain offering, and one log[c] of oil. 11 The priest who pronounces him clean shall present both the one to be cleansed and his offerings before the Lord at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting. 12 “Then the priest is to take one of the male lambs and offer it as a guilt offering, along with the log of oil; he shall wave them before the Lord as a wave offering. 13 He is to slaughter the lamb in the holy place where the sin offering and the burnt offering are slaughtered. Like the sin offering, the guilt offering belongs to the priest; it is most holy. 14 The priest is to take some of the blood of the guilt offering and put it on the lobe of the right ear of the one to be cleansed, on the thumb of his right hand and on the big toe of his right foot. 15 The priest shall then take some of the log of oil, pour it in the palm of his own left hand, 16 dip his right forefinger into the oil in his palm, and with his finger sprinkle some of it before the Lord seven times. 17 The priest is to put some of the oil remaining in his palm on the lobe of the right ear of the one to be cleansed, on the thumb of his right hand and on the big toe of his right foot, on top of the blood of the guilt offering. 18 The rest of the oil in his palm the priest shall put on the head of the one to be cleansed and make atonement for him before the Lord. 19 “Then the priest is to sacrifice the sin offering and make atonement for the one to be cleansed from his uncleanness. After that, the priest shall slaughter the burnt offering 20 and offer it on the altar, together with the grain offering, and make atonement for him, and he will be clean. 21 “If, however, he is poor and cannot afford these, he must take one male lamb as a guilt offering to be waved to make atonement for him, together with a tenth of an ephah[d] of fine flour mixed with oil for a grain offering, a log of oil, 22 and two doves or two young pigeons, which he can afford, one for a sin offering and the other for a burnt offering. 23 “On the eighth day he must bring them for his cleansing to the priest at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting, before the Lord. 24 The priest is to take the lamb for the guilt offering, together with the log of oil, and wave them before the Lord as a wave offering. 25 He shall slaughter the lamb for the guilt offering and take some of its blood and put it on the lobe of the right ear of the one to be cleansed, on the thumb of his right hand and on the big toe of his right foot. 26 The priest is to pour some of the oil into the palm of his own left hand, 27 and with his right forefinger sprinkle some of the oil from his palm seven times before the Lord. 28 Some of the oil in his palm he is to put on the same places he put the blood of the guilt offering—on the lobe of the right ear of the one to be cleansed, on the thumb of his right hand and on the big toe of his right foot. 29 The rest of the oil in his palm the priest shall put on the head of the one to be cleansed, to make atonement for him before the Lord. 30 Then he shall sacrifice the doves or the young pigeons, which the person can afford, 31 one[e] as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering, together with the grain offering. In this way the priest will make atonement before the Lord on behalf of the one to be cleansed.” 32 These are the regulations for anyone who has an infectious skin disease and who cannot afford the regular offerings for his cleansing. Aren't we blessed to be free from the requirements of the Law of Moses? |
There is no scripture mentioning Jesus "tithing." He makes an indirect comment to the religious leaders in Matt 23:23 and Luke 11:42 about not neglecting it, but that wasn't the actual point he was making. Even so, they were still under the Old Covenant, since Jesus had not died yet. So they were still required to tithe. The "tithe" rule/law is Old Covenant and is fulfilled, as it is written in Hebrews 7:6-10. There is no more "tithe" because it was paid in full. Abraham paid Melchizedek, Levi was in Abraham, Melchizedek represented Christ (without beginning or end), so the levitical tithe was paid in full by faith (by the "father of faith" at the point that Abraham gave a tithe to Melchizedek and Melchizedek blessed him in return. The Old Covenant, levitical tithe, "collected by men who die," done over and over and over again, and consumed over and over and over again, did not accomplish a lasting redemptive effect. Now, we who are in Christ, are "blessed" once and for all, by faith. The riches of Melchizedek, "greater than Abraham," are ours in Christ, so that we can bless others without limit! The book of Hebrews is a good book to read how the Old Covenant is fulfilled in the New Covenant and is now obsolete (Heb 8:13 explicitly uses the word "obsolete" , superseded by better promises by faith.OC prophets' message is fulfilled in Heb 1. Jesus supersedes prophets. OC message through angels in Heb 2. Jesus supersedes angels. OC Moses is fulfilled in Heb 3. Jesus supersedes Moses. OC Sabbath is fulfilled in Hebrews 3-4. "Sabbath rest" is "Today." OC high priest is fulfilled in Heb 5-7. Jesus like "Melchizedek." OC tithe is fulfilled in Heb 7. Tithe paid in full (by Abraham!) OC itself is fulfilled in Heb 8. Now written on our "hearts" in Christ. OC tabernacle/temple is fulfilled in Heb 9. No more buildings. OC blood sacrifice is fulfilled in Heb 9-10. Blood of Christ. Faith is basis in Heb 11-12. Our "inaugurator and consumator" is Jesus. Sonship discipline of NC, not wrath of OC in Heb 12. Return to the foundation of the NC gospel preachers, says Heb 13. Often we hear people trying to pull Old Covenant things back into the New Covenant, as if it made sense to put new wine into old wineskins (Matt 9:17, Mark 2:22, Luke 5:37). In the case of the tithe, it often goes something like this: "Tithing isn't a requirement, but it is a good rule to follow." Well, substitute anything else from the Old Covenant into that. How about, "Animal sacrifices aren't a requirement, but a good rule to follow." Why not sacrifice animals? Sure, we now know that Jesus was the once for all sacrifice. But if the system of animal sacrifices wasn't evil, but good, ordained by God in the Old Covenant as a system of reminders and a foreshadowing to point forward to an ultimate sacrifice (what Jesus would do), then why not continue to sacrifice animals today, as a reminder of that same ultimate sacrifice (what Jesus did)? In reality, we do have another ritual to do this. It's called the Lord's Supper, or Communion, using bread and wine, although it is not a "sacrifice," as the Roman Catholic Church would suppose. So the Old Covenant mentality changes the sabbath day to Sunday, replaces the priest with a pastor, the tabernacle/temple with a "church" building, replaces the OC festivals with Sunday church programs, the tithe into a funding source for the pastor and church building and programs and "Levite" church employees, and then instead of "sonship" it preaches the wrath of God. Now that we are sons, and given that God is the source of unlimited riches, we give to bless others, with God as the source, to further the Kingdom of God. "Tithing" is completely irrelevant, and is a distraction. Anyone who really thinks that they can "give 10% back to God" is probably not saved. God requires 100% (Matt 16:24, Mark 8:34, Luke 9:23). |
HEALING PRAYER Father, I believe Your Word. I believe that You said that Jesus bore my sickness, that it is no longer my sickness, but it goes back to the devil. Therefore, I believe your word and I present my body, right now, to you, Father, as a living sacrifice, healthy, whole, complete, healed, in Jesus name. And right now, I FORBID sickness or disease to live within my body because its NOT my body, my body belongs to Jesus, he paid for it, he bought it, its His. He wants it whole, He wants it healthy, He wants it strong, He wants it vigorous, because a strong, healthy worker is more effective than a sick worker. Father, I reject sickness and disease. I accept healing and wholeness. I accept the sacrifice of Jesus. And I say I am the redeemed of the Lord, redeemed from sickness and disease. And I say right now that sickness and disease will no longer reign in my body, but I, through Jesus Christ, will reign in life, spirit, soul and body, without sickness, but in health in Jesus name. And Father, this starts now, today, right now I declare I AM HEALED, I AM WHOLE, AND I AM FREE by the blood of Jesus by the stripes of Jesus and in the name of Jesus. Therefore, AMEN, SO BE IT, in Jesus name, Amen. http://becomehealed..com/2013/05/a-prayer-for-healing.html |
The Secrets Of Divine Healing The Truth About Divine Healing: 1. There are no hindrances to healing. The only hindrance is that you think there is a hindrance. 2. The Bible gives us only two reasons why the Word or power of God was not received. a. One reason is unbelief. Mark 6:1-6. In verse five it says Jesus could there do no mighty works because of their unbelief. For further understanding of this unbelief we must go to Luke chapter 4 beginning in 18. The Scriptures reveal to us that the unbelief of the people caused them to reject Christ in such a way that Jesus never got the opportunity to minister unto them. b. The other reason is in Matthew 15, the traditions of men. 3. Anything that stands between God’s command or God’s promise and you obeying that command or obtaining that promise is not God. In other words we are commanded to heal all who are sick. We don’t need a special leading or unction. 4. If Jesus did it we do it. If Jesus didn’t do it, we don’t do it. Jesus never went into a person’s past or tried to find the secret sin that prevented a person from being healed. Jesus never told anyone they were not going to receive their healing because they didn’t have enough faith. Jesus did not pray to the Father or beg Him to heal anyone. He commanded healing to come. He commanded the sickness or the evil spirit to go. 5. Jesus healed thousands at a time without requiring them to repent or believe first. Matthew 4:23-24; Luke 4:40-41; Matthew 14:36. 6. Great faith is not necessary to receive or minister healing. The Roman Centurion in Matthew chapter 8 and the woman of Cana in Mark chapter 7 were both outside of the Old Covenant, hence, Jesus described their faith as great. Jesus said in Matthew 17:20 that with the faith as the size of a mustard seed we could speak to a mountain and command it to be removed and cast into the sea and it would obey us. 7. Unconfessed sin does not keep people from being healed. All the people that Jesus healed in the Gospels were sinners. For believers James 5:14-15. First they are healed then if they have committed any sins they are forgiven them. 8. Jesus never tried to find the root cause of the illness or sin that “opened the door”. 9. Jesus was never prevented from healing anyone due to the sin of a person’s ancestors.(Generational curses). John 9:1-7. 10. We are not to judge who is confessed up, in faith or ready to be healed. 11. The Spirit Baptism is given to minister in the power of God. (To act like sons of God). 12. The written commandment to heal the sick is sufficient without a “rhema” word for each person. 13. The only requirement for a person to receive healing is to come to be healed. 14. God is not the cause of a delay of healing. 15. We are to command the power of God without picking and choosing who is worthy. 16. We have the authority to cast out devils that people think they want to keep. Acts 16: 16-18. 17. New Testament believers initiated divine healing and delivered people at will. 18. Signs, wonders, and the Holy Spirit follow us as we obey the Word of God. Mark 16:20. 19. As believers we cannot increase our healing anointing except by using it. 20. God will heal through any believer, because it’s not about us, but about His goodness. 21. We as believers are God’s sons, the devil’s master, and servants of humanity. 22. We don’t beg God for healing. We proclaim freedom for the captives or prisoners. 23. God’s anointing abides within me, is always ready to heal, and is always on. 24. Christ in me is always available to destroy the works of the devil through me. http://becomehealed..com/2013/05/the-untold-secrets-of-divine-healing.html |

Jesus was the greatest law preacher who ever lived. Yet He never preached the law to non-Jews and He didn’t preach it after the cross. Jesus’ law ministry reached its fulfillment on the cross. The law-keeping covenant has come and gone. The new covenant of grace, in contrast, is eternal. As we will see, Jesus’ revelation of grace is as important today as it ever was. “We should do everything Jesus said,” is one of the most dangerous and thoughtless doctrines you’ll ever hear. And you’ll only hear it from hypocrites. I guarantee you that those who say we must do everything Jesus said aren’t doing everything He said themselves. Jesus said, “Be perfect” (Mt 5:48). If you are not perfect, then you have no business demanding perfection from others. Jesus preached words that the whole world needs to hear but you are not the whole world. Some of what He said was meant for other people: Jesus called the Pharisees sons of hell (Mt 23:15). You are not a son of hell! So why would you heed words meant for the sons of hell? Jesus also told the Pharisees they belonged to their father the devil (John 8:44). You belong to your Father in heaven (1 Jn 3:1). So why would you heed words intended for the devil’s children? Jesus even preached to the devil (Lk 4). Are you the devil? Then you should not assume that words directed to the devil were meant for you. Some of what Jesus said was meant for another time. For instance, Jesus preached the law to those born under the law. Since you are not under law, the law that Jesus preached to them is not for you. If you think you must keep the law to be righteous/blessed/holy/forgiven, then you have set aside grace and Christ died for nothing. http://becomehealed..com/2013/05/disciples-or-pharisees.html |

Adam and Eve were created by God, God did not put clothes on them. The Angels are always with us and around us, whether we are fully dressed, swimming, bathing or unclad. The Pure in heart sees all things as pure. It is usually the condemned who bring accusations to condemn others (Remember the story or the woman caught in adultery). The pure do not condemn even those the world condemns. There are levels of knowledge and stages in understanding. There is a path called wisdom. Walk in it. |

When you stop living in bondage through fear, the enemy loses his power over you. The way out of fear is boldness through faith. When you know the power of God who protects you, you will never be afraid again. The One who watches over you is a LION. The one who is against you is a rat. In my dreams I sometimes spend time with great lions. I have lost the ability to fear. |

The Simple Gospel by Curry Blake 1. God created man. Man did not create God. God created man in His image. 2. God gave man dominion over the earth and everything on it and in it. 3. Man forfeited that dominion to Satan through willful disobedience. 4. God decided to pay the penalty for man’s sin. 5. Man’s sin could only be removed by blood. The sin of all mankind could only be removed by the blood of One who was perfect and without sin. 6. All mankind was infected with the sin of the “father” of the human race, then a mortal (sin-infected) man could not be pure enough to remove all sin. 7. Jesus was made flesh and dwelt among men. He, being the express image of God, was pure enough to pay the penalty for man’s sin. 8. Jesus lived an exemplary life on earth to show us how a person filled with The Spirit of God should live. 9. Jesus was crucified , buried, and raised from the dead. 10. Jesus’ death undid the effects of man’s sin. His blood bought our salvation and His broken body bought our physical healing. 11. God desires all mankind to live in blessings not curses. 12. Anyone that repents can be saved and healed. 13. God will do anything you ask Him to, if you will do anything He asks you to do. 14. The Will of God is to do anything that reveals God to man, and draws man to God. 15. The Word of God is the Will of God. The Spirit of God CANNOT lead you to do something that the Word of God says not to do and He CANNOT lead you to not do something that the Word of God tells you to do. 16. If you consider yourself to be anything other than a missionary into the world that you are apart of, you are not a Christian. A true Christian ALWAYS has as their reason for being, the desire to share what they have found. 17. If you have not found a gospel worth sharing, you have not found the Gospel of Jesus Christ. 18. God has more faith in you than you have in Him. 19. God expects you to be strong and do exploits for Him. 20. God expects you to live by the laws of the Spirit. 21. God desires to reward us according to our works, yet we are so afraid of being accused of working for our salvation, that we avoid Biblical good works. 22. Every Christian is a minister. 23. Christians are so afraid of making a mistake that they do nothing. Not realizing that this mistake is the greatest one anyone can make. If you do something wrong, God is big enough to fix it, but if you do nothing, God cannot change your inactivity into activity. 24. God never intended The Church to be a place. He intended it to be a people. He intended it to be a body of people that are consistently being changed into the image of Christ. 25. Expect God to live big in you. Do big things for God. Do things that lift people, that help people. Do things that bless mankind. Do what God would do if He were here. Forget what men might say about you. They said those things about Jesus. There was never a person working for God that was appreciated until they were needed to get someone out of a bad situation. Be that person, help people out of bad situations. 26. Get out of and away from dead religion. Get a relationship with God. How can you tell the difference between the two? You can tell by how you think. If you are always thinking that you can’t do this or that because God is just waiting to bring judgment down on you, you are in dead religion. Dead religion says, “Don’t do anything, you might make God mad.” A Christian Relationship always says, ” What can I do for God to show Him how much I love and appreciate Him?” 27. Jesus said that God’s will was that we do to others what we would want them to do for us. (Matthew 7:12) To be a Christian: Feel free to contact us for help. Repent – recognize that you are a sinner and turn from your sins. Ask Jesus to be your Lord (someone you will obey without question). Believe that He heard and granted your request. Say out loud that Jesus IS your Lord and God IS your Father. Ask God for the Baptism in the Holy Spirit. Read the Bible every day and ask God to show you what you need to know. Begin immediately doing whatever you find in the Bible. |
Revolution! What a threatening word. Revival we can deal with, a bunch of excited religious people having their own party. Not too threatening. But Revolution? Now just wait a minute. We don’t like the word revolution. Every time revolution is used it is accompanied with words like violence and coup. Revival can be compared to waking up and stretching. But Revolution means a complete overthrow of the old ways. Even Reformation is weak when compared to Revolution. Martin Luther started the Reformation by accident when he posted his “95 Thesis”. He did not intend to start anything but a discussion of his complaints against certain church practices which he considered unbiblical. Out of that humble beginning came what is now known as the “Reformation”. A reformation re-forms but it does not overthrow and start anew. A Reformer can negotiate and compromise. No Revolution ever started by accident. As a Texan, I understand Revolution. Texas became it’s own nation by the blood of revolutionaries. Many men sacrificed their lives on the belief that Texas could become a free nation. Hundreds died because of that belief. Some died fighting and other were captured and marched to a small clearing and shot down by the hundreds. But because a small group of less than 200 men held off a much larger force of thousands, by armed resistance, they paved the way for a nation to be born. Those 200 men in the Alamo in San Antonio de Bexar in 1836 knew they were going to die. They knew their destiny. They chose their destiny. Just as you are choosing yours every day. A Revolutionary either succeeds or dies. The reason the American Revolution was successful was primarily due to the fact that, once started, the band of revolutionaries (now known as Patriots and the Founding Fathers) knew that if they failed in their objective to win freedom from England, they would all be hung as traitors. It is amazing how much harder you struggle and fight when you know the only option is to win or die. They knew they were considered “traitors”. Yet they believed it better to be called “traitors” than to be called “subjects” to an oppressive system. The early Christians understood win or die. Their struggle was not with political systems. They were not political. Political systems had them killed but their struggle was spiritual. Today we are in a far different struggle. We still preach Christ without compromise. We still resist political pressure to bow to false idols (only now the idols are conveniences such as abortion, or clearly sinful lifestyles such as same-sex marriages, etc.), but by far, the most dangerous threat to the body of Christ today is neither attacks from without nor heresy within, but rather the church system that has slowly taken over in the last 1300 years. The Reformation started small and grew into an entire theological system. The Reformation was a good start but we let it stop too soon. It did not go far enough. We need Revolution. We must have Revolution. Yet there can be no Revolution without Revolutionaries. There can be no Revolutionaries until we get fed up with being “subjects” to an oppressive religious system that is not Biblical in any sense. The system we have today is a system of convenience. We stay in it because “it may not be right, but it is the best we have at the moment.” No revolution ever started with statements like that. We stay in the current system because if we dare leave it we are branded as “rebels”, or “church-hoppers”. Church-hoppers are usually not yet rebels. Rebels have already passed through the church-hopping stage. Church-hoppers are still looking within the system hoping to find a church that meets the longing in their heart. That longing is to find a Biblical gathering of believers that meet together to fulfill the God-imparted desire for “community”. http://www.jglm.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=175:apostolic-revolution&catid=51:iac-articles&Itemid=102 |
But what about rebellion? Doesn’t the Bible say we should not rebel or be in rebellion? Yes it does in 1 Samuel 15:23, so let’s look at that verse in context: 1 Sam 15:21-28 21 But the people took of the spoil, sheep and oxen, the chief of the things which should have been utterly destroyed, to sacrifice unto the LORD thy God in Gilgal. 22 And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. 23 For rebellion ( Strong’s # 4805 – O.T.) is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king. 24 And Saul said unto Samuel, I have sinned: for I have transgressed the commandment of the LORD, and thy words: because I feared the people, and obeyed their voice. 25 Now therefore, I pray thee, pardon my sin, and turn again with me, that I may worship the LORD. 26 And Samuel said unto Saul, I will not return with thee: for thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, and the LORD hath rejected thee from being king over Israel. 27 And as Samuel turned about to go away, he laid hold upon the skirt of his mantle, and it rent. 28 And Samuel said unto him, The LORD hath rent the kingdom of Israel from thee this day, and hath given it to a neighbour of thine, that is better than thou. KJV Notice the context here: Saul was commanded by God to do a thing, yet he decided to do something else which made more (religious) sense to him. Because of that, God took the Kingdom away from him. Saul admitted he had sinned after Samuel pronounced the judgment of God upon him. The word “rebellion” in this verse is the word for bitterness and stubbornness. You can and should also say that stubbornness and bitterness is as the sin of witchcraft. OT:4805 meriy (mer-ee'); from OT:4784; bitterness, i.e. (figuratively) rebellion; concretely, bitter, or rebellious: KJV - bitter, (most) rebel (-lion, -lious). (Biblesoft's New Exhaustive Strong's Numbers and Concordance with Expanded Greek-Hebrew Dictionary. Copyright (c) 1994, Biblesoft and International Bible Translators, Inc.) It is right to rebel against what is wrong. The main thing to about rebellion is this: It is HOW you rebel that will determine whether your rebellion is righteous or not. Jesus rebelled against the dead religious system of his day. He even took a whip after those who had perverted the ways of God. He bluntly AND publicly denounced them, even using them (publicly) as examples of how NOT to be. Today, we stand at the same crossroads Jesus did two thousand years ago. Christianity has become exactly what Judaism was two thousand years ago. A religious system of do’s and don’ts that ignores the important “weightier matters” and emphasizes blind adherence to our chosen creed. Before the Reformation, most everyone was Catholic. The Reformation was the leaving of the Catholic by those who by reason of conscience could no longer follow the dead traditions that violated clear Scripture. The Reformers had one motto: “Sola Scriptura” or “Scripture alone”. They could no longer classify a man’s words, regardless of how supposedly “holy” or high-ranking in “The Church” he may be, above the Word of God. Because of that belief, when Martin Luther was ordered to appear before a council that held his life in it’s hands and recant his position, he declared boldly: “Here I stand”. We have now “progressed” in religious thinking in many areas, yet today there are practically no “voices” such as Luther’s to be heard. Most ministers are all too ready to get in bed with the system that promises that if they “pay their dues” and climb the ladder of recognition and popularity, they too will reap the benefit of this multi-level marketing Religious system. (By helping those above you get to where they desire to be, you will eventually get to where you desire to be.) Today, success in the church is measured by whether you have offices or not, or by how many members your church has, as well as by whether or not you are on television, radio, etc. The entire church system is nothing more than Madison Avenue marketing Programs. While on an airplane recently, I read an issue of Business Week that highlighted several well-known “Church Leaders” that were compared to and better known as CEO’s more than to Men of God. http://www.jglm.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=175:apostolic-revolution&catid=51:iac-articles&Itemid=102 |
Modern soldiers wear bullet proof vests to protect against bullets. Your faith is your shield. If you have been hit by enemy attacks, it is not the enemy that has become stronger. It is you brethren who have dropped your shield. You have put away your bullet proof vests. You have stripped off your breastplate. You stand naked and vulnerable in battle. The solution is not to cry to God for mercy, neither is it to fast and afflict your soul. The solution is to pick up your shield of faith. Faith stops every arrow. Melts every bullet. You are nothing without your Faith in Christ. With Faith in God, nothing can stop you. Be blessed in HIM |

Jesus did not send anyone to preach about hell, death and lake of fire. He sent His disciples to preach about the KINGDOM OF GOD (RIGHTEOUSNESS, PEACE AND JOY IN THE HOLY GHOST) |
I wonder if Joseph would have become a ruler, only second to pharoah in Egypt, if he had given up during his slavery or during his incarceration in prison for a crime he did not commit. True faith is one which has been tried and tested in fire, and overcome all challenges. |

The Truth About Divine Healing: 1. |
John G. Lake’s Secrets of Divine Healing 1. Destroy sacred cows concerning sickness and power 2. Recognize sickness and disease as an enemy 3. Get Fed Up 4. Treat all sickness the same 5. Treat all sickness like a person 6. Command not beg 7. Speak to the problem – not to others about the problem 8. See people as oppressed prisoners of war 9. Get clean – stay clean 10. Stay out of pride – anyone could do what you are doing 11. Be aggressive – develop your aggressiveness 12. Be led by God’s character and nature 13. Accept responsibility for your fellow man. 14. Decide to obey the Bible, not some arbitrary feeling 15. Know that God is with you, in you, and for you |
Take curse out of your head- remove the curse out of your head. Stop liking only bad things. They don’t believe that they deserve good things! They are poverty-oriented! They have been taught that the poorer they are, the nearer they are to God, whereas, poverty is a disgrace to God. How can your heavenly Father have everything and you have nothing? How can your God be the Alfa and Omega and you are nothing? How can your God say, the silver are mine and the gold are mine and thousands cattle on the hilltop and the hill where the cattle are standing belong to my God; and you have nothing on earth- it’s a trick of the devil for you to think “the poorer you are the holier you will become” that’s not true. Revelation 3:8 says, “Behold I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it” So I said to myself what can I do if I know I wouldn’t fail? What could you do if you know you couldn’t fail? How many miles can you go if you know there’s money to go there? How many houses can you build if you know God can provide the money? I began to ask myself- Idahosa what could you do if you know you couldn’t fail? And God said- all things! So when preachers in Africa come to me and say “Bro things are very down and there’s no money here, I say, I wish your God and my God are the same. Because if the God that I know is the one you know- you are the head and not the tail, you are blessed and not cursed. And guess what I began to teach my people to cancel the curse out of their head because Galatians 3:13 says, “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law” Say- “I am redeemed” There’s no Christian that is under the bondage of enslavement that the devil try to put you in. if you believe that silver belong to God, God doesn’t use silver, if you believe that gold belong to God, God doesn’t use gold. If you believe that hundred cattle in the hilltop belong to your heavenly Father, God does not eat beef. So who does He have all these things for? Say- me! We have been so tricked out of blessing that the only good song we know how to sing are suffering songs. We have been so oriented by sinners to believe that we have no rights to have access to our Father’s treasure. And Jesus says, “I give you the keys to the kingdom” and many of you have the keys but you don’t know where the door is. So you are living in hunger, stagnation and weakness. Your suffering would have gone long ago if you believe what I am saying tonight- your heavenly Father owns everything. The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof. The money in the banks in this world comes from the heavenly Father. Government is not the owner of everything- God is the owner of everything. So what did I do? The first thing I did was to take my name out of the list of those who are cursed. I took my name out of the list of those who are not prospering. And the bible says, be it done to you according to your faith. And so I said to myself that from now my faith is that I am good, I am on top, I am not at the bottom, I am the head, I am not the tail, I am in the front not at the back, I am blessed I am not cursed. The Lord is shepherd, and that’s all I need. Halleluiah! I who was the president of Poverty Association, I remove my name! I who was the Chairman of “Have-nothing Incorporated”- I remove my name. I who was the chief of all sinners- I took my name away. And I say God, whatever faith it takes to be well, I’m going to be well. Whatever faith is takes to bless the poor I am not going to be the poor, I am going to be the one blessing the poor. Then I read that the righteous shall flourish. And so I said God I am tired of having little things, I want to flourish and the Lord say if you hold me and I hold you, you will flourish. So for 32 years now I grabbed God’s trouser and for the last 17 years I refuse to let Him go and I began to believe that my God is not as small as the government. My God is not as small as the biggest bank in the world. With bank many things cannot be done but with God all things are possible (Matthew 19:26) And I began to learn lessons on how to live righteous life, on how to make Christ the strength of my life, and I began to learn the lesson that Paul learnt when Paul said it is no longer I that liveth but Christ that liveth in me. I began to take God to my street people, I began to take God to the blind and they began to see, to the lame and they began to walk, to the deaf and they began to hear, to the weak and they became strong, to the down trodden and God began to lift them up. From that day I began to sing new songs, I tell myself the things that aren’t possible with man are possible with God. For with God nothing shall be impossible. I began to think right, I began to wish myself good, no matter what you wish me, I will wish myself good. No matter how you look at me, I look at myself as beautiful. Then I began to find in the bible how beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel. So I began to wear good shoes instead of bad shoes, I began to read in the bible, he shall worship God in the beauty of His holiness. So I began to pull my old poor garment and began to worship God in the beauty of His holiness. One night God said to me, son you know why you have small things- I said no. he said- because you don’t believe in big things. I said I do, He said no- show me one bog thing you have done. I looked round my whole life- not one! Then I read this scripture: Ephesians 3:17-19, “That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, maybe able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length and depth, and height; |
By Arch Bishop Benson Idahosa Written By Kunle Oluyori This God that I have come to know now can make all things possible. In Luke 1:45 the bible says, “There shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord” There shall be performance to your dreams, to your expectation. God says if you believe it, there’s going to be a performance. And I asked myself, with who are all things possible? Who will perform my dreams? Who will bring to pass my heart desires? Who will give me the grace to realize my dreams? - God! When I was a young preacher, people do promise me money, particularly here in America. I will give them my father’s address, my mother’s address- everything! Even where my father was buried- I gave them the address. And I will wait and wait and wait, I call some of them that I have their numbers and say, “I am just reminding you, you said that you are going to help me”. Until one day God said to me, “They didn’t call you, I call you. Don’t put my work load on people, put it on me and don’t make it hard for yourself because my yoke is easy, my burden is light. So I read, “There shall be a performance” and I said thank God. The word of God says, there shall be a performance. Now, one day I came across a scripture in Genesis, it says ‘And Joseph was put in prison and the Lord made him prosper in the prison’ and I said to myself what business was he doing there?- None! Joseph was not a businessman, he did no trading and selling in the prison, but God made him prosper, if God can make a man in prison prosper, what about me at home? It is my turn! Say it is my turn, I am the next! Joseph prospered in the prison and here I am at home suffering. I am not in trouble, Joseph was in trouble and he prospered. I am not chained, Joseph was chained and he prospered. I wasn’t betrayed, I am not jailed. Joseph was jailed and he prospered. So I said if God did it for Joseph, I am next. I am next without prison; I am next without jail- Halleluiah. “All things are possible to him that believes it”. All things are possible to him that believes. if you are a believer you’ve got the license to start to prosper. Tonight God is going to give you the license to start to prosper, because “The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon” Psalm 92:12 Don’t deny it, the church is suffering much more than expected, the church is suffering, the Christians are suffering more than sinners. Almost all the banks in the nation belongs to sinners, almost all the best hotels belong to those who don’t go to church. Marriot is owned by Mammon; they make millions daily, billions yearly. I have not seen one hotel yet where the proprietor speaks in tongue. If there are, maybe very few, and if there are, it’s going to be very small because Christians don’t believe in big things and that’s an insult to God. Because the devil is not as good as God, as a matter of fact there’s nothing bad in God and with God all things are possible, and all things are possible to him that believes. I discovered that I can stop failing and start succeeding, if I can change the gear of my faith vehicle, if I can stop driving backward and start driving forward, if I can accelerate in the front, if my own gear can move to the gear of the speed of the faith of a believer, if I can stop talking downward and start talking upward. If I can start to say the good things and stop saying the bad things, if I can stop singing the poor songs and sing faith songs, if I begin to call myself a child of the living God instead of a child of failure and disappointment. If I begin to look unto God instead of looking to my country because the bible did not say the government shall supply all your needs. The bible says “My God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus” Philippians 4:19 And let me inform you that there is no poverty in glory! Halleluiah! I don’t preach caricature messages where preachers will tell you to hold that the Lord will soon come, that you should be patient with your sufferings when Jesus come you are no longer going to suffer- it’s a lie of the devil from hell- Jesus became poor that we through his poverty may become rich. Jesus died that your suffering might stop. Jesus became the one that paid the price for my sickness, my suffering, my disease and sin and many time we accept the God that forgives sin but we forget and refuse the God that bless people. And when we see somebody that prospers in Christianity we begin to ask if he is still a Christian? As if the symbol of righteousness is iniquity and set-back. The sign of holiness is not poverty. As a matter of fact, poverty is a disgrace to God. Because God’s word says in 3 John 1:2, “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be rich in health, even as my soul prospereth”- halleluiah. Don’t prosper in soul- prosper in spirit- prosper in job, prosper at home, prosper in business, prosper in town, prosper everywhere- prosper- in the name of Jesus- prosper. Halleluiah! The bible says you shall be the head and not the tail. The bible says you shall be a lender and not a borrower! The bible says you shall be blessed when you go out. You shall be bless when you come in. you shall be bless when you lie down; you shall be bless when you rise up. Say- I am bless! Halleluiah! |
Benson Idahosa Benson Idahosa lived from 1938 to 1998. He was the Founder and President of the Church of God Mission International Inc Nigeria, President, All Nations for Christ Bible Institute; President, Idahosa World Outreach Ministries; President, Faith Medical Center; Founder, Faith Mediplex; Word of Faith Group of Schools, and Founder Benson Idahosa University. Benson Andrew Idahosa was born in Ewasso Edo on September 11 1938 to a poor pagan family of Pa John Idahosa. Benson Idahosa was a very sickly child, fainted very regularly and when he was eighteen months old his father ordered that he be dumped in a refuse dump-site about hundred yards away from their mud house because he no longer had hope that young Idahosa would live because of constant very serious illnesses. Report says about three hours after he had been left in the dump site, there was great thunder and lightning, followed by a heavy downpour. Young Benson's cry, pleading to be brought back home, made his mother have compassion over him. She went to rescue the little boy, disregarding the instruction of his father not to bring him back to the house. One afternoon while playing football with his peers, Benson Idahosa was preached to by a pastor who converted him to Christ. He became a member of the pastor's church and at 24 years he began his ministry work after his pastor one day preached to the members of the church about Jesus telling his disciples how they have the power to heal the sick and even raise the dead. With great passion and determination to follow the instructions of Christ, Idahosa led by faith and enthusiasm and strong believe in God Almighty, willing to test his faith went about the city of Benin in search of any dead person to bring back to life. That day Benson Idahosa raised a dead three years old girl from dead following the procedure used by Jesus in the Book of Matthew in the New Testament of the Bible. The following week he raised an eight year old boy from the dead and that was the beginning of his ministry. While preaching in Benny Hinn's church in Texas, Bishop Idahosa said, God has used him to raise 8 people from dead in his life time. He has since proclaimed the gospel of Jesus Christ until his death in 1998. Before his death Bishop Idahosa is said to have established over 6000 churches throughout Nigeria and Ghana. Many pastors in the country today have sat under the teaching of this great man of God. His proteges includes: Ayo Oritsejafor, David Oyedepo, Felix Omobude, Fred Addo, Chris Oyakhilome and many others. |

at the point that Abraham gave a tithe to Melchizedek and Melchizedek blessed him in return.
