Hi all

I have been following this thread and i give u pilots and aspiring pilots thumbs up. Ok to the main gist - a little bird told me that Arikair is looking for pilots and engineers to train. i would try and get the full gist for you guys.

Criteria for the scholarship
- Must be a graduate.
- Must not be above 25 years old.

Right click on your desktop. You would see the option Graphic Options. It gives you three options Panel Fit, Tray Icon and Rotation. Choose rotation and you would see the various angles so keep choosing until you get the right screen. Unfortunately i am using a vista so i cant get step by step pictures.

There are lots of pple in the aviation industry here in nairaland (cabin crew, customer service agents etc) but u specifically asked for pilots and pilots in training. Hope u get a response cos they are pretty few.

R u trying to say that other skools do not have unserious students. There are lots of OOU alumini both in Nigeria and in the diaspora who are forces to reckon with in their own small way.

Question and answer thingy is good but i have one major problem. After answerin the secret question they are to send a transaction code to your mail box. It takes almost 30 mins for you to recieve the transaction code and by that time the internet banking page would have expired and you have to start the whole process again. Obviously the transaction code sent to you does not work with the new transaction.

So what? U should be praying u get the job and not worrying urself over such a trivial issue

Actually, Agbani was asked to mention three items she'd want to have if lost in the dessert. While i can't remember the full answer she gave, i recollect that the 3 items served basic needs: Bible (for her spiritual well-being), a blanket (clothing/Physical) and a 3rd item i just can't seem to remember. What made the reply tick is the fact that the items represented the basic needs of life and she came up with the response within seconds and without hesitation. I'v also listened to a number of her interviews. I think she has depth unlike our new MBGN.

The third item was water (to prevent dehydration). She did not pause to think about the answers which i thinks shows intelligence. I did not watch this year's pagent but if all she could answer about the state she was representing was that lame goes to show how many of our girls have brains upstairs.

I was not going to comment on this issue, i was only going to read ur comments but i think i have to correct some issues.

1. MTN N does not employ contract staff. They get companys to employ contract staff. This implies that contract staffs are not MTN N staff but the staffs of the company of the MTN contracted from. So if anybody has a complain lodge it with the HR of the company and not MTN.

MTN really does have a good package for its staff though not as good as other telecoms company.

The only complaint I have is the way MTN staff treat the contract staff. These guys are treated like they are second class citizens and that is really not fair.

2. I can authoritatively say that no one who is a staff (both permanent and contract) in MTN has less than a HND so please do get ur facts straight
