I have this Livestock feeds shares  i got sometime in July last year @4.30, the week i bought, it lost 30% of its value and later lost close to 60%, i just decided to leave for long term, but for the past 2 weeks it being gaining,it only lost 2wice in this 2weeks its presently at 5.97
what i will like to know is if there is anything driving it up, should i still hang on, my TP is actually 6.00

just sold off my oceanic shares at 29.50 and at present i have about 2.5m with me, i am due to pay back in April or march ending and will like to know from you if it would be wise for me to reinvest it on these shares ACCESS,UBA,FBN,GTB and UNILEVER , am talking 2-3months
On second consideration would it be OK for me to wait for OCEANIC to drop and renter again

i went to oceanic registrars today, they say they have not yet posted peoples certs who bought over 20,000 units but will start next week. lets watch and see

How come i got mine? my broker brought mine like 3 weeks ago (although photocopy) i just signed the verification forms, but it's yet to be verified and on the issue of above 20,000units , i actually bought 90,000 units with a margin facility

i will like to know more about Beta glass, i got some last week and it was due to the fundamentals that you stated about it, i was actually surprised when you told easimoni last week Friday that you were not able to get it, i only placed an order on Friday and got it maybe i was lucky, although it was on the high side of 14.17 i believe
Easimoni, gave me a go ahead on it but said Ikeja Hotels which you also recommended has gained a lot and will not be good entering now

Selling part of your ngc to buy japaul makes sense because u'll lock in on the profits you've already made on ngc and also cash in on another good opportunity via japaul.
Fidelity? Hmmm, thats not a bad idea too because i assume you've made profit on fidelity at the current price. cashing in on another 33% gain via the public offer makes sense too.

Don't Sell Transcorp instead think of buying more and set a price limit at N4.00
This will reduce your overall cost of buying the stock
Transcorp is good for the long term and i bet you will not regret it.

Are you telling that i should keep it after loosing more than half of my total income, i am actually looking at a short term thing say 6months, may be if any of the PO's could provide it, please am talking of 500K becoming 250K within just 6months, so i will definitly like the reversal since transcorp will not make it in 6months

Firstly, sack your broker. A broker recommending Transcorp to you at 9.71 ripped you off. When the share was on technical suspension, the share was being sold at a discount. I suspect that your broker.

Secondly, it shows that the guy knows next to nothing.

As per the action to take, it depend on your kind of person.

If you are STRONG at heart, SELL!! Count your losses, learn your lessons and move on. Transcorp will not rebound in the short term. Use your money somewhere else. Hopefully you can recover the losses.

However, if you are the type that will SULK when you make a loss then continue to HOLD. At least you will not make a LOSS until you SELL. That should make you feel good.

Lesson, never TRUST a broker. It is your money so be on the drivers seat. Make the call yourself.
