Mpeace:Exactly, they did. The FX gain we see there is the normal FX gain we have been used to seeing. Check the company side of the income statement and you will see that the FX revaluation was taken out. Check out the components that skyrocketed other banks FX income and you will see them missing in Access bank income. I guess they took advantage of the recent CBN policy on FX revaluation gain and adjusted according. Remember that they shifted their financial report release date as soon as that CBN policy came out. From my analysis on their income atatement, I can see that they have masked close to a trillion in FX gain. Look deep to see. |
Streetinvestor2:It is a manipulated market. The whales like to sway attention and create confusion and in the process make their profit. Understanding their moves lies the profit |
locodemy:You are right. |
unite4real:I am sorry. I mean the naira. Many thanks |
unite4real:Not necessarily. The dollar is still depreciating. It may be over N1000 by the end of September so more revaluation income. |

Access Bank FGN Bond custodian charge 0.1% of the face value as commission. Please what does CSCS/stock broker charge for keeping the bonds? |
leparj:I believe it is Access. I have not been paid |
emmanuelewumi:Thank you so much. I bought through Access Bank. I will do as advices by discussing with my stock broker. Very many thanks |

Please House members, how can I move my Bond from the Bank Custodian to my CSCS Account such that I can View it on my stock account? |
highcurrent:They have |
bjtinz:Hmm. I have not done any withdrawal yet. I am just surprised that they have not paid the last quarter interest up till this time. |
yak:That's a good idea. What rate are you getting from Stanbic? |
emmasoft:Thanks bro. |
yak:Please remain where you are if you have no issues with them. UCAP delays a lot. I may leave them soon |
yak:Well, their rate is higher at 11.3% but I don't understand them. Just have some reservations |
bfn1:Thanks Bro. I wonder what is delaying United Capital. They are yet to pay. |
Please how long does it take the fund managers to pay/distribute dividend on Mutual fund after the end of the quarter? |
Dear esteemed Members of this great forum, Do we forsee a situation whereby NSE will tank as a result of USA's expected interest rate increase in the month of March especially as March in most cases is bearish? If this is possible, is it right to reduce exposure to the stock market and come back later to buy at cheaper prices? I ask because if goes through, some traders may come back to the market to pick good dividend stocks at cheaper prices even before the closing date. Please, your advice is highly needed. Thank you. |
Mcy56:God bless you abundantly. This statement convinced me to hold on to my UCAP and even buy more. Your comments are outstanding and can hardly be faulted. Many thanks..... |
maishai:Hmmm. Just came across this. It is ideal to take some statements here with a pinch of salt and know whose comment to take. Some are positive while many are not. I thank God I jumped this. I wouldn't have forgiven myself. |
Good morning House, please if I buy UACN today will I qualify for Updcreits. 226 reits for every 1,000units of uacn or the qualification date has passed? Please advice. |
Oakbranch:I guess there was a serious mix up in their data. I shocked to discover that the shares I bought over a month was not in their record. It was a long battle to resolve it otherwise I would have lost my dividend. I only believe it was resolved when I saw my dividend. You could follow my pattern. Just send a mail to SEC detailing your complain. You can also call them on 014621100 or 094621168. Just ensure you have the original CSCS statement and any other evidence of purchase. They will do the magic. Best of luck. |
Mfunkynation:I received it yesterday. This is most likely the reason some of traders could not trade with the proceed of their sales. It will do us good to contact our various brokers to confirm our status to avoid being stranded. |

Folks, mine just landed. Thanks for the encouragement as I almost had BP. You know these registrars can be funny sometimes. |
zimams:Many thanks bro |
Tvegas:Wow! I use Access. Still waiting. All roads lead to African Prudential tomorrow if they don't perform today. |
. Lol mkt capitalisation of about N47b and cash equivalents/bank of N86b, this does not mean they have the raw cash o. cash flow statements even shows the company use more of the external fund to financial their business as they generated less cash from core business compare to overall total cash in the book,
. to add to your confusion it easy for me listed almost all the stock on NSE here for recommendation atleast one will do better to get the thumbs up but not my way
. if the company turns around and I see what I do look for then I can buy even at N20 but for now I let it pass
