Yoou can say that again.
I want you to remember the kind of backlog we had in may....
It may be happening to june applicants now...and majority are coincidentally college stduents.
My friend who applied to NAIT got medical caall 14th july and he applied June 22nd.

Isn't NAIT a college?..

Except NAIT and SAIT is considered differently which I suspect.
We have had a few exceptions but in general the selection appears to have been systematic and deliberate.

Can you see its obvious CIC is discriminating PGD applicants.
How come we have Msc applicants of July who have gotten there TRV? Till now there is no logical explanation to ignoring other applicants.

You can't sincerely blame anyone who wants to acquire good education and probably gainfully contribute to the development of any geographical location they find themselves.
All my friends and classmates are through with their post graduate studies 3 or 4 ago, i simply refused to leave Nigeria until 2012 after my older brother left for his post graduate.
During my undergraduate days i embraced Info- tech quite early, so i couldn't understand why i was learning a course like FORTRAN 77 programming language as at 2004 nor could i understand why the hell i was using a manual drawing board for engine drawing.

I will rather have Buhari look into why Nigerians (The most populated Black nation in the world )will have to have their visa to Canada being decided by Ghana and being processed there. . . I see that as an insult to Nigerians.
Brother Insults to Nigeria plenty, like @ kennypenny said that the "medical before denial" issue sparked a diplomatic uproar in India, do you think if that were to continue in Naija that anyone would blink an eye?

Ah I'm not sure you want to do that o! I just did a quick Google search and such a bus ride will take a minimum of 16 hours in a private car, and about ~24 hours on a bus! Also, it costs about the same as flying ($200-$300). And BTW, most of the drive will likely get boring after the first few hours.

Do a Google search of "bus from toronto to prince edward island" and you'll see what I'm saying.

Oga Fhemmmy and his gala sha. Lol. My guy when last you chop gala? Gala no really get meat anymore o! Last time I chop gala I was heavily disappointed.

Good day guys. please how is it possible to get a copy of the files CIC has on me? i read something about that on this site a long time ago. can't really remember. the problem i am having is that my application october last year was filled by an agent, and i cannot remember exactly what he put in my family details. i have put the correct family details this time around and i intend addressing it in my sop, but would like to know exactly what discrepancies there are. someone help please
You can request for your case file, physical file or both.
You need someone in canada to request for you for 5cad or you will have to used online company that offer the servies for about 25 or 30 cad.

Sir, leets keep calm.

The medicals I think we're shared out at first to save time after full examination is done as resumption is near..

Because even those that have done medicals are waiting so long to get approvals.....so they didn't send the medicals because the app was at the final stage.

The speed at which the medicals came then was kinda suspicious too...(some in 2weekks, some in 3weeks)
So I personally feel they are just getting to our apps now..
Brother whatever they are doing it not funny at all.
I no know which one worse pass, the refusal after medicals or total ignorance of people whose programs will be starting in less than 30 days.
If they decide to call you for medicals today, how long do you think it will take from medicals to TRV approval? are you ready to book the very expense hurried flight ticket?
Frankly the whole thing is might be pointing towards January, time is not really your friend now.

You are welcome, champ!
By the way, this was the same exact reason my sister was refused on her last application (well, two "insufficient funds" reasons were ticked even with more than sufficient funds in the sponsor's account). It is extremely annoying. I wonder why they didn't just ask her to bring more evidence.

I'm beginning to suspect that CIC would rather reject applicants with almost-perfect (but not perfect) applications because to reapply the applicant will pay a fresh application fee thus enriching CIC's pockets. This is a perverse incentive, and it is maddening and unfair. The "denials after medicals" is another unfair and unethical trend. E go beta.
Right now I am sickened to my stomach with this CIC approach.
First it was responding to Msc applicants while ignoring PGD, next they started refusing people after medical request for reasons best known to them.
Now they have totally ignored the remaining Fall applicants.
Well I reserve my comments for now.

Stop creating problem for real Igbos. The oil belongs to all Nigerians with particular reference to offshore. The one on people's land should be based on royalty.
There are igbo returnees from the bini kingdom, who went ahead to continue in there igbo tradition and naming there offsprings after there heritage.
Why will someone migrate to igboland then through away this language, tradition, culture, and name his land igbo names?? Mind you this is supposed to be an immigrant of a pressumed strong empire who should be proud of his heritage.

It is true.......ikwerre are not ibos.....the core landlocked States only need them for access to sea....and oil....once they get it.....they will massacre all........ grin
By history the igbos never conquered any teritories, they merely traded with other tribes being the merchants they were and still are.

I am from Edo State. Many of my friends in delta (isoko, itsekiri, urhobo) share the same view with me.

Why are you having headache? you guys are so deluded!!! you think everything good is yours!! you think you can re-write history with propaganda? we both agree that Nigeria should divide. let south south form his own nation/nations why you form yours. what is paining you? you Igbo are so arrogant? you are the one changing history. Before colonialisation, most of south south today were all part of Benin Empire. read your history books. You guys with ur greed you want to steal all of them as yours. if there was no oil in south south will you want to add them to Biafra at all cost? why are you not adding benue and igala who are also your neighbours too by all means? thieves!!! you think everybody is a fool. don't worry, let the time come when Nigeria will divide, you will be shocked how much south south nationalities want to be alone.
Biafra was created in 1967 and had terminal stroke in 1970. most of these south south nationalities are older than Biafra.
Do you even know that the name biafra was named by an ijaw man?
Do you know that that name biafra was used to sign treaty with the British?
I ask again is South south a nationality? With your proposed absence of the igbos, you are certainly sure the remaining Six tribe are in harmony and will agree to form a country?

we agree on one thing that the current structure of Nigeria can't be maintianed. We either restructure or we divide.
in the case of a division a referendum would be conducted on the different tribes that make up biafra excluding igweocha, anioma etc that are established igboland.

I am south south. I don't completely agree agree with you for singling out the North alone. As far as I am concern IGBO, YORUBA and HAUSA are all benefitting from the current system. Afterall an IGBO man Gen Agunyi Ironsi created the Unitary System for Nigeria in 1966 that we are complaining against today. When Isaac Adaka Boro wanted to form Ijaw Nation Republic in 1966 it was Igbo Head of State Gen Agunyi Ironsi that fought him with a 12days war. Tell me what is Igbo contribution to Nigeria foreign exchange? Atleast the North contribute Agriculture no matter how small. They contribute more than the Igbo.

The Igbo claim to be one of us because some south south states were part of the old Eastern region. First of all, eastern region was created by Nigeria for Nigeria convenience. It was not a decision of the nationalities that made up the old eastern region. Secondly before most people forget, today edo and delta state were never at anytime part of eastern region. edo and delta were first Western region later became Midwestern region, then change to Bendel state before becoming edo and delta state today. some tribes speak Yoruba in edo and delta state. why is Yoruba not claiming edo and delta state the way Igbo is claiming rivers and delta states because some people speak ibo in those states?

Igbo may have succeeded in brainwashing some south south people that they are one of us, it is big lie. They may have succeeded in brainwashing some of us that only hausa and Yoruba is the problem of south south, it is a big lie. They are the same as far as I am concern.

The problem with Igbo is greed. Qatar is smaller than Bayelsa in Population and half d size of Bayelsa state by landmass. Bayelsa is four times the size of Sigapore. if Qatar and Sigapore can be a country, why cant we have an Ijaw nation as a country? Do u think Ijaw people dont want to be like qatar and enjoy thier oil alone like Qatar does? Note: Bayelsa State is d smallest state in the south south by population and second to the last by landmass!!

Below is the size of south south states and south east states. South South is almost 3times the size of south East.
Yet the population of South east is almost 80% of south south population base on 2006 census. More than 90% of the resources (oil, gas, limestones, etc) are in the south south. The whole of South East is landlock with no direct access to the sea or atlantic ocean. but almost all the south south states have direct assess to the sea and atlantic ocean.

Tell me why South South Nations will want to form a country with south east if they have a choice ? all south east will bring to the table is population and domination? The total oil production from south east is not up to 10% of south south oil production!

If you are the leader of south south nations will you advice them to form a country with south east if they have the option of forming their own country alone? give a sincere answer?

As far as I am concern, as unbranwashed south south , there is no difference between the Igbo, Yoruba and Hausa. To me, these are three major tribe struggling and fighting for Supiriority. Whenever any of the three is loosing, he shout Marginalization.

During Jonathan govt, the Igbo was gaining and were in control and was happy. The Yoruba were losing and were shouting Marginalization. The hausa/fulani were not happy because they were not fully in control. For the North we can slightly understand because in the 16years of democracy (May 1999 to May 2015) the south ruled 13.3years while the North had just 2.7years

The Igbo don't love south south more than the hausa or Yoruba love us. All the three tribe are all struggling for the control of south south oil. None of the three is better than the other as far as we south south are concern.

The only place south south nationalities agree with Igbo is Nigeria should divide.

But how it will divide, what we want and what they want is as different as d distance of the earth to d moon.

South south want thier own freedom. we will support Biafra as Igbo only nation while they should support us to form our own nation or nations. But trying to add us as an appendage to Biafra will never happen.

If south south join Biafra, our individual identities will be wiped out in less than 50years. They will convert every south south nationality to Igbo. And they will so much take charge of the oil and resources with reckless abandon without any regard to d minorities.

LET EVERYONE FORMS HIS OWN NATION. SOUTH SOUTH NATIONS DONT WANT IGBO, YORUBA OR HAUSA IN THIER NATION. WE DONT WANT ANY DOMINANT TRIBE TO CONTROL US IF OR WHEN NIGERIA DIVIDE

In summary, my point is if Nigeria will divide peacefully by United Nations referendum, south south will not join Biafra. South South will form its own nation/nations. The only way south south and south east will form a single nation is if Nigeria divide by War because population will be important in size of Army.

My Igbo neighbour may not like this submission, but it is the bitter truth
Guy I have a few question, is South south a tribe?
Is ijaw the only tribe in South south. The last I checked they have Igbos, itsekiri, izon, ibibio, Efik, annang and urohobo. Biafra constituted of seven ethnic groups.
So when you say south south, as a country like it's comprized of one tribe I begin to wonder.

I believe they are chlling for a reason...

It's not a question of being on a queuee again....because we can see latter applicants getting repliees....

It's a matter of delaying approval for whatever reason it is...

ITs getting uneasy...
It has become nauseating, unfair and uninteresting.
Mine is exactly 60 days today.
School resumes second week in September.
I am beginning to think that this might be intentional delay to applicant to join January start as they have reached the "proverbial quota for September"
At this pace most of us will have to defer till January.

nothing changed between the first and Second app he only boasted his Account since he's a co sponsor

I noticed some loopholes too he works at jumia he didn't include employment letter just reference letter . for you to be transferred to head other departments in other countries in jumia you need have an int business certificate or masters degree should his boss include that in his reference letter as a perquisite for promotion?

then I noticed his sponsor only included his company's SOA he didn't include his personal soa and tax clearance is that a problem?
How many years work experience does he have? how did he end up with 4.5m in his bank account after the first refusal? How much did he have in his SOA, before the first refusal?
How much is his annual salary for him to have saved up to 4.5M?

Why i am concerned is that if his earnings doesn't compliment the increment with in the space of time, that would be a red flag.

I assume that when you are refused for financial reasons like I was, they will look out for irregular/manufactured funds in ur next application.

Yes, you are right
The visa I have now is for visit though multiple entry
It does not permit me to work or study

I visited the school in Canada last year, they told me I could apply from within, by posting my documents to Los Angeles but I thought it wiser to return home and apply from Ghana cos I couldnt just give up my job when I didn't what the outcome of the application would be.
Now I'm not sure what my next move should be
Up untill early 2015, people on visit could apply for study permit from within Canada.
Right now I guess you have to apply from your country of residence despite having a valid TRV.
I am not sure what that is meant to control.
The reason for refusal now looks like a mockery of the whole process. Telling someone who has been to country and back that he won't leave after studies.?

In any case, yeah I really doubt they would invent new reasons (though they have the right to do so). It would be really bad if they did and would imply that the formality of the application/rejection process is really just a charade.
