Mcjimmy:
Hey most of the time if one is being refused visa it's advisable to wait for like a year or eight month before reapplying because the Vo's would think u are so desperate to enter Canada. And when u are reapplying make sure u choose a course that is very very related to ur present Job or what you have in ur Bsc. Most times it's better to apply with the same program and course one used in the first application , given that you would explain why u are going for that course and how relevant and important it is to you. If you are above 25 I think advance diploma is the best program to go for like I was advised. You must either have a leave letter from your employer or you explain that the job you are doing presently is a temporary job and u are not a permanent staff in the organization. You need your SOA and also defend the closing balance by explaining the kind of business u do to get such amount in ur account. I guess changing school and program for each application is some how suspicious and also shows sign of being desperate to enter Canada if I were the Vo handling such app. I think you should just seat and think on how to develop your sop and make it detailed by putting somethings into consideration. I stand to be corrected
Oga mi.
I applied with a closely related program, in the same school.
I am only going to change school for this my final application, but the same program.
I will just add my two account statements, because I already had some cash fixed in one of the accounts since December which i Intended to use for my upkeep.
Since the crash in stock market I have been careless about my stocks but i will organize them and print the statement.
That is the only thing i can think of now.
Thanks bro for your contribution.

@ standupguy, i dont see your age as a problm. I believe if you add your SOA with your shares, that covers your financial capability and home tie. Tell your sponsor to fix like 3million and state that it is going to be used to support you. Really, you dont need more than one sponsore if you have about 2.5m in ur acct. Sorry bout your delay. Package your document well n all the best
Thank you.
I didn't assume my personal finance would be considered nor questioned since I am using a sponsor and co sponsor. Plus online route didn't allow for much space for plenty documents.

Yup! Never said more rightly
In as much as I agree to an extent, we all do use our sponsors to get visa that doesn't mean the sponsor isn't going to adequately fund your education. This particular sponsor has already effectively sponsor one person.

But na them know sha.

even if admisson comes. ill opt for advance diploma course i applied for at senecca.
with a nigerian background Masters is very very challenging in canada and it gives little or no room to work.
Is Seneca not expensive, i am actually waiting for an admission from centennial college.

thanks bro.
Definitely I will do that.
What do you think about my age as related to my application.
TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by standupguy(m): 7:03pm On Feb 02, 2015
hayqinsbFX:
the problem is that youre 30 and logically they knw your sister wont be res[onsible forr your life by now and shes just bn used to get a visa.
Yeah but she happens to be unmarried and has no children. At the moment.
Well I will just put my SOA, funny enough I have up to 2.5m sitting that I didn't include plus stocks I bought since 2007.
I include it and apply again in April.

Also my older brother was 29 when he left in 2012.
He used only one sponsor.

Is this not what you have: I am not satisfied that you *have sufficient and available financial resources without working in Canada to pay thr tuition fees for the course or program of studies that you intend to pursue.?

How many months statements did u submit, and whats the monthly deposit like?
Yes it is and that I have not satisfied that I will leave canada after my studies because ; personal assets and financial status.
TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by standupguy(m): 6:12pm On Feb 02, 2015
mrnilobrawn:
Sorry about ur dalay.

Was the reason
*Insufficient fund to pay for my tuition without working in canada.

Or

*Insufficient financial resources to pay for my tuition without working in canada.

From my experience so far with this reasons....they (CIC) dont really care about your account balance but the account traffics/transactions (deposit/withdrawals).

Try and include ur personal SOA wen reapplying.

Bdw when did u apply/do ur biometrics?
Applied on 09 jan biometric on 12
refused today.
22 days.

Insufficient funds for tuition and insufficient
Personal asset and financial status.

I think they want to see my SOA, and Asset.
I didn't think it was necessary because I had a sponsor and co sponsor plus no space to put all the statements.
Maybe I will go through paper route next time.

Meanwhile sponsor had 22m/21m flow.
Co sponsor more than 125m/124m debt/credit.
TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by standupguy(m): 5:08pm On Feb 02, 2015
So I was refused again today for the second time. Documents for application are:

Sponsor older sister
Sponsor has no dependents
Sponsor Employment letter stating annual income of 7.5m.
Sponsor property documents
Sponsor statement of accounts 11.m / 1m.
Sponsor stock portfolio. 1.6m total.
Sponsor letter of support/declaration.
Sponsor has already sponsored my older brother through his PGD in canada.
Sponsor baptismal certificate/passport

Co sponsor Sister
Co sponsor Certificate of incorporation.
Co sponsor statement of account 1.6m/3.5m
Co sponsor fixed deposit 10M.
Co sponsor purchase invoice
Co sponsor letter of support/declaration.
Co sponsor baptismal certificate/declaration.

My LOE
Letter of employment (work at sister's company).
My CV
First semester Tuition receipt (7000).
Family form/identities.
Police character report.
Program PGD.
Age 30.

Reason for refusal
1. Insufficient fund to pay for my tuition without working in canada.

2. Personal assets and financial status.

This is my second refusal and i really don't know where I went wrong again.
I don't understand how the figures above won't be sufficient to sponsor me considering the fact that the said sponsor had already successfully sponsored my older brother through his PG.

Secondly I do have stocks and money in my account but I didn't think it was necessary adding it to my application because I wasn't listed as a sponsor, plus there isn't enough space to add them all.

I wish to try this application one more time so I really wish to get advise on adjustments to make.
Thank you

You can tell your school to scan and send to you instead of waiting for the real one. Your docs are great just make sure the content relates like your payslip pay date dsame in your SOA, try online route
@ JohnCushion
Bro keep in touch, I would be changing to centennial after TRV is approved.
PoliticsRe: Buhari's Certificate: Controversy Stayed Too Long-barcanista by standupguy(m): 1:31pm On Jan 21, 2015
Barcanista has once again behaved with maturity and shown the capacity to be objective and viewing from different angles.
Barcanista I am sure you would be surprised at ur own people being disappointed in your ability, quest and call to justify ur position in ur course of support for GMB.

The scandal whether true or force is a negativity to GMB campaign, and needed to be nipped in the bud not for the satisfaction of the opposition, or inec, but yourself, people you wish to win over to your course and Nigeria.

As for me I strongly believe that PDP and APC have both presented me with Sh*T.
So I find it illogical choosing between Lion dung or horse Sh*T.

Standupguy, Niagara College gave me a clause that if I have gotten trv then the 7k I paid won't be refunded and I'd have to school there. I had to scan my refusal letter and send before they believed I was denied visa and sent my money back. So if one wants to now switch to another college I don't think the part tuition would be refunded cos its stated well in the admission letter.

This is what I wanna avoid I no fit dash Oyinbo more dan a million naira nau. Reason am looking for a school that doesn't ask for part tuition before one licks trv.

Searching earnestly... I for no mind una help sha if anyone has the experience of not paying a dime to the school initially.
If your TRV was granted, you can only switch schools, in that case you only present the admission letter from the new school and the tuition would be transferred to them.
Some auxcillary fees would be deducted, check the schools policy to find out exactly how much.
You have up to the 10th day of classes to request for a withdrawal and you have a maximum of four months to present another Admission later from another institution.

kaynine59:
Well if the fee isn't in thousands I can forfeit it like the $250 stated
@ kaynine59, all schools have a refund policy which u should look.
I went back to conestoga international student refund policy, and according to them, your tuition fees would be refunded to your account if you were denied visa excluding the non refundable deposit or your ur tuition can be transferred to another public college or university following the presentation of an admission letter For a program with a start date not letter then four months.
In which case a total sum or 500$ would be deducted from your fees.
N.b they have just put a notice of the non refundable deposit increase from 500 to 1500 Starting sept 2015.( I just found it out yesterday) .
Most colleges have such policies so be sure of how much the non refundable is and decided if you can forfeit it.
For me 500$ won't kil me considering how much I have already spent on my school applications and Trv.

Standupguy when u say change to another school how easy is dat. A school u have admission previously from or ud apply when u get to Canada... Shed more light pls
Brother you can always change institution.
I had 2 admissions for Sept 2014 with centennial and St clair college respectively, actually I was offered both admission in October 2013. But my target program with conestoga had only January Start date and I was offered admission since May 2014, i opt for it and waited till October 2014 to apply for TRV with the conestoga admission hoping that TRV would be smooth sailing.

Had I known i would have started applying earlier last year as advised by my brother and friends then switch to any program of my choice.
I won't make that mistake again.
Right now my first choice program is offered by only centennial college for sept( though more expensive), i am applying with A May program at conestoga and hope to switch when I get my Trv, then wait till Sept to resume school.
Centennial already has my credentials so i will only write them to have my file reviewed for the program.

CIC can frustrate ur logistics, they really screwed mine. I started looking for schools and programs since August 2013, i took my time to find cheap, short and in high demand programs for my field of study, but now I will end up with same program at an institution with more semesters, more tuition and longer program duration.

When did you apply?

Is too early to conclude that he wont make it.
A friend travel almost 4 weeks after resumption.

Its been a while, believe you have been good. Make up ur mind with a school and apply, time its not really our friend. Its more peacefull getting TRV 2-1 months before resumption. So plz start fast.

My fellow awaitees....this coming weeks is ours, we shall all smile with a greatfull heart to God. Next week this thread will be flooded with MEDICALS + TRV......AMEN
Good Advice i learnt it the hard way.
@ Kayninne59 Apply with any program closely related, the mean Huddle is CIC, you can always defer or change to a school with the program of your choice.
I am ready to apply again for May start date but really have no plan of studying the program i am applying with, i have plans to change to another school that offers my first choice program, even if it is for september Start.

THE IMPORTANT THING IS TO SCALE THROUGH CIC.

I never knew you applied for Conestoga too.
Abeg drop your email addy i would like you to help me review something before i throw in my app this first week of January.
I think i found out where i misrepresented my sponsor's financial that lead to my initial mishap.
We will most definitely collide in Waterloo this April.

i used the same one i used in my first app. My sponsor wanted to get me another but his employer was wasting much time getting it done so i used the old one which was 6months old.
That is such a relief because my difficult sponsor would find it hard to request for another one.

To anyone who applied twice, did your sponsor get another Letter of introduction from His employer for ur second application or did you used the same one u used for ur first application.

I am about to reapply this first week of January, and my sponsors letter of introduction is from Sept which I used for my first app on Oct. Can I use it again? same with with my police clearnace , should I get another one. My application was refused 3 weeks ago.
