Vicjustice: Are you seeking an answer from a prophet? Help me with a little analysis please. I am 30, apply for a student visa, but has been refused twice. In both application I had a sponsor and a co-sponsor who are both my immediate family members and Half of the tuition was paid. Both sponsor have a handsome both income and available funds and resources. Reason for refusal was insufficient resource and funds to pay your tuition Personal Assets and financial status. I never included my personal assets and financial status because I thought having both sponsor and co sponsor was enough. Abeg can anyone help me analyze a little. I am thinking of reapply in 4 months. |

ibk1010: Try schools in the East, if you've got working experience ensure to include a document to that effect when sending your applications. I got admitted to BTU(environmental Resource mgmt) with about the same CGPA though included i included a year and half work-experience document in my application(maybe that helped).Dont be deterred by a low CGPA, write as many schools as possible particularly schools that request that you send in your applications directly to them, these kind of schools tend to employ an holistic admission process i.e they look at all documents you send them particularly your undergrad grades in courses that are relative to what you intend studying for msc Thank you bro, one more thing, how do you wire money to uni- assist, i have a U.S currency dom account, which I have set to wire money to u.s but i have never done a single transaction to Europe. |

Onyeoma3: Whether PR or no PR, its $5 and anyone in Canada can do it for you....why am I having this feeling that its either you made the wrong application or someone has played a smart one on you or possibly included his service charge (pardon my thoughts if otherwise)... kindly go thru the attached link
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/atip/requests-atip.asp (feel free to go thru other top questions)
Also, check your transaction well...for sometime now as at last week up till yesterday, 1CAD - NGN has never been more than 160 cos CAD was falling seriously against USD while NGN seemed to be doing a bit better at the same time, making CAD-NGN falling at the same time. Though CAD is presently bouncing back and hopefully will be better in the coming days. The transaction I did last week saturday with my Diamond Bank VISA debit card at TD Canada Trust was 1CAD-153.5NGN.
I hope and pray you get your TRV at the end of all the struggle. ALUTA CONTINUA,VICTORIA ACERTA
My Brother thank you for you the information although it turns out i might still the right. To send a request you must be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident of Canada or an individual or corporation currently in Canada. I copied that sentence from the page you sent to me, i cant make the request because i am not a Canadian citizen or PR Holder. as for the transaction i was wrong about the initial billing, the actual billing came in today, it was 4900 naira. Thank you |

Onyeoma3: Did anyone charge you this amount? The cost is 5CAD per file request and 1CAD to NGN is as low as 155 now. Yeah I know it's $5 for people with PR. But the cheapest anybody on any website can offer is 25. Conversion was done electronically by PayPal and my bank mastercard. |

Finestlex: int'l students are seen as source of easy revenue to Canny.. that's why we pay x3 of what locals (citizens) pay. ALl colleges have almost same tuition. the max difference you can get is $1k5. some $1k, some $500. most are same. Yeah but i hear say 1k5 na plenty money for canny, say na like 3 months house rent.....lol |

CIC takes many things in consideration, things beyond our thoughts. Tis well. Mantiger where you dey since, you for done help me review before go dash this people my money. I will re-apply in May, but till then i have requested for my CAIPS file today, hopefully i will know what actually went wrong before in re-apply. You didn't say anything about my Age(30),personal finance and also my place of work which is my sisters company. What is your take on that as related to my application? |

@ JohnCushion thank you bro for you contribution.
Considering the fact that I have substantial amount fixed since August last year when I started preparing for my PGD its really sad that It turned out this way.
Regarding the SOP, what I normally do is to explain the benefit of my intended program of study to my Bsc, my current job and to the economy of my country, i also quote figures and statistics to Buttress my point. |

9jabiggurl: Yeah i figured paper route will allow for all those excesses....meanwhile if you claim you are working you will DEFINITELY need your employment details which includes payslipS, salary bank account at least to show that you are really receiving income stated on your payslip, employment letter, salary review letter...etc.... I thought about it but honestly i didn't know it was important having seen a lot of people here get TRV without including there personal account. Including Pchax whom i learnt a lot from his application. I put employment letter that stated my salary but i didn't put my statement. I intend to put it when re-applying in May, I hope my statement would cover for the pay slips too. |
