BusinessRe: How To Make Money Running A Football Viewing Center In Nigeria by Starboytwo(m): 7:43pm On Mar 25, 2019
Cityfirstborn:
There was a thread like this sometime, how many times are we going to advise you that viewing center is not lucrative anymore. Who will pay 100 naira to watch match wen betting shops show for free or you can get a beer and watch comfortably in a bar with friends. calculate fuel cost, subscription, and you can't run it alone. some matches you will just burn fuel for nothing cos people will not even reach 10. What of wen season finish, any plan?
how many times have you watched a match in a betting shop... Me once when the Nigerian female national team was playing AWC.... Who get time to cramp for betting house, inside mad heat... Abeg

i tell alot of people that dstv is overated. I have watched over 60-75% of hollywood movies released in 2018/19, on bud n fta, but guess what ?, it will be shown as premier on dstv maybe year ending if not next year.

there is also canal sat which has a complete sporting package than dstv and its cheaper dan dstv.

Language barrier i guess.
dstv is english, on canalsat its french, on bud u have french, polish, portugues and arabic for sport while movies are english and u can subtitle sef.
all premier league games right.... Hmmm

I have a very important question to ask, am not even talking about the capacity of a stadium but the size of the pitch.... Do we have same pitch size in all stadiums, cuz I think not, you cannot compare the size of Stamford bridge to camp nou or is it the same?.... Is the asaba pitch the same with the Abuja national stadium.....

I'm particularly angry about the issue of stadia in the country....it irks me always when we host matches on "cattle ranchs and call it stadium... Many countries in Africa have a few standard stadiums, big capacities etc we don't even have a 80 or 70 cap in the country, I think Abuja should be 60 or so while Lagos is about 45,uyo 30 I guess and others, way below. Can't say the same for southie or North Africa...

I still ask when are we gonna host the nation's cup, funny how we have never bidded or be in reckoning as a potential Hosting countries of late, simple. We currently lack the infrastructure, which is quite shameful, our two biggest stadiums don't even work...

Sometimes or many times self I just Tire for naija... Didn't watch the match, but everyone is complaining bout the pitch, some even questioning why a football match should be played there... A must win u23 match is also billed to be played on the farm... I hail us for this country..... A football mad nation without stadiums...
