Romance › Re: I'm 28 Desperate To Settle Down. by StateOfMind: 1:27pm On Apr 12, 2012
freshmoney: Tell me the truth. Are you looking for a man or an ALREADY MADE man to settle down with ?

Let me ask you something, do you select when choosing a man? If you do, then I pity you. I am 100% sure you don't look for jobless guy, you don't look for a low-life, you are only looking for a well dressed man with a house and some cars to get married to. You think they are on Nairaland too? They're all taken my friend. grin cheesy
Why would she look out for a jobless, low-life man? Why would you pity her cos she wants to 'choose' her partner. So because she's 28, she should marry any thing that has balls that approaches her??Even these days men don't want to marry jobless women with no ambition.

Op, I'm certain you know a good advice when you see one. Quite a number of people have spoken well ;Amaka's post is one. Every one has his or her own principle\standard, but you should know when and when not to bend or compromise your standards.
DO NOT settle for less out of desperation.

ronkebp: Too bad you guys, you both do not know the difference between "seeing" and having "an affair" that part i cannot fix, if i meant that, would not have put "wives" too, well everybody can"t understand "meaning of meanings"

Carry yourself to One corner Richy, with your protruding bellysmiley.....if you are not hating on CC's post, it is Jennykadrys' or the 'cabal"....when will you recover from the stress the cabals are giving you?
To be honest, I was surprised when the two posters misinterpreted your 'seeing' to mean 'having an affair'..not even after reading '...and other wives' that followed the statement.

coogar: since most naija chics are greedy and they always demand for rewards when they offer help, i can see why this method is effective.
after taking the little boy to the address, the girls would want to go in for a meal(meatpie/orange juice) or transport fare.
Lmao! Haba!! This post is ridiculous..

Seun is annoyingly humble!lol. So you actually changed the colours after you personally experienced the 'teary eyes syndrome' nairalanders have been complaining of?

If you hadn't spent more than 30 minutes that day, you wouldnt have realised how bad it was? The whole plea n complaints about the colours actually fell on deaf ears?

You no try at all cos you did this for yourself, not for your members.

Anyway these so called dark colours SUCK! Too strange to deal with at the moment.

Coldfeet: Concoction? Mix Jesus Christ and a repentant heart together and you'll have the BEST and NON-EXPIRING concoction to all your challenges! I met my husband during my search for redemption and YES I told him EVERYTHING do you have a problem with that?
I'm impressed with this reply of yours ma'am. Very decent and mature of you to ignore his insults.
Romance › Re: Blackberry Babes And Grammatical Blunders by StateOfMind: 1:37am On Mar 31, 2012
komole: They sure don't. Some Nairalanders are ready to commit suicide or murder on a mere post. They take things just too serious.

This is getting so confusing and contradicting.

First you claimed you know me well (which I agree) and you say you don't know me outside nairaland. Okay! Ask "Ayo", she will be in a better position to clear things. Case solved right?
Modify your post all you want (already read the un-edited version),you are not making any sense.

I've told you to move on. . . #nuffsaid.

komole: CHIEF INVESTIGATING OFFICER

Saying you know Komole and talknafree are the same sounds so silly.
As for your claiming to know me, yes you sure do because i told your elder sister my id.
Hehehehe, Who cares if its silly as long as its the truth. Using your other moniker to support your lame post was not a smart move at all, accept that fact bro and move on. No hard feelings. I'm sure it hurt u so much that I figured it out. Don't underestimate my 'investigative talent',lol.

@Bold, I have no inkling what you're talking about. Don't bother trying another lame one on me abeg .I DO NOT KNOW YOU OUTSIDE NAIRALAND.
Romance › Re: Blackberry Babes And Grammatical Blunders by StateOfMind: 1:57pm On Mar 30, 2012
Hehehehe!! Komole is talknafree, talknafree is komole. Its very obvious from the posts coming from both IDs. This blackberry poster too can't do without blunders and when his silly self realised he had shot himself in the foot, instead of him to humbly modify his initial post, he decided to use his other ID to support himself. That's not-so-smart bro.

Don't even try to deny it Mr komole, trust me, I know you so well.

Back to the topic, you shouldn't have started this thread because you are also guilty of this 'blunder making'. No single post of yours here is without blunder.

Don't be too fast to judge people, because you are not close to perfect too. . . . . neither am I!

koseepaaro: @poster, don't every try to pick-up babe here on nairaland. I tell you, 98% of babes you pick-up from nairaland are all gold diggers. Note that I'm telling you this from personal experience. I've dated two ladies here on nairaland and two of them lasted for 1 year with me but guess what, two of them are BLLB! I would just advise you to put your mind off nairaland if you really need a genuine lady. That's just my advice for you my brother.

Romance › Re: Being Single- Sweet Or Bitter? by StateOfMind: 9:40pm On Mar 29, 2012
I have a friend like this poster, the thought of commitment scares the hell outta him. He doesn't mess around, neither is he gay, I guess he just enjoys his freedom, especially the gaming thing, being able to call when he wants and some other reasons Op has stated. I usually tell him its a phase in his life that will surely pass.

@op, you won't be like this forever, that I'm sure of. The fact that you're not against marriage, and have spoken no ill of the opposite sex, like some men gives me the feeling that u'll cross that bridge when the time comes. You are not just ready for commitment, you don't want to be responsible for anyone except yourself,so enjoy your 'freedom' while it lasts.

And your fears about women blowing up and becoming unattractive after marriage doesn't hold water. My mum is still in shape and I have seen a lot of married women in shape. Also, I think you can find someone with common interests too. Don't just assume no lady would be interested in your likes and hobbies.

free2ryhme: Sometime I wonder if you read the post before rusing to comment. Is It Normal For A Wife To Ignore Serving Her Husband Food ( becos she is angry with her husband). Mdm we did ask for your story of your life but comment on the issue the way it is presented.

Where in the post did you read that both of them had an arguement? mdm dont twist the post and hit the nail on the head. How una dey take pass sef...
Stop being unnecessarily rude Mr. Its NOT your thread neither is it your forum, so people should be able to share their experiences even if it is NOT related to the topic. So many things can be learnt from just one thread.

And by the way, her comment n the so called 'story of her life' is useful on this thread. Be a man and stop taking issues too personally.
