Who says being a teacher isn't a good job? What if I say that's a down right lie. That's right, teachers can get a good income even higher than those who have white-collar jobs Unfortunately, teachers have a low income in Nigeria, except those working in Federal or Multi-million naira schools. However, teachers can back up their peanut salaries with the following ways 1) Organizing Workshops and Seminars-If you have studied a specific course, especially English and Mathematics, you can organize a workshop/seminar around different schools in you area. All you have to do is to make brochures and letters and distribute them to different schools. You have to make sure you letter is good so as to easily attract schools. I can assure you its worth the stress as multi million naira schools in places like Abuja,Lagos or Port-Harcourt end up going home with 250,000 naira or more depending on the schools. Some mushroom schools pay 10-20,000 naira but if you are really good, you can charge higher. 2) WAEC,NECO,GCE supervision/marking- This is the second term and so preparations for WAEC is going on. You can supervise or mark WAEC depending on how experienced you are. Nigeria is a corrupt country and you can find 'Miracle Centres' everywhere. I'm not patronizing them but I'm just saying. An average Nigerian can earn up to 100,000 naira or more just by supervising difficult subject like English or Mathematics in any of these centers. You can also supervise other external exams like NECO,GCE,Common Entrance,First School leaving,MOCK etc just for the cash. 3)Private Lessons-you can also make money by organizing private lessons for interested students in your school this kind of lessons are mostly enjoyed by Mathematics teachers but can still be done by other teachers. Think about it, if you end up having 5 students in your class, and each is paying 2000 naira, you will end up with another 10,000 naira added to your salary at the end of the month or even more depending on the number of students. You can also organize lessons for those who are about to write external exams. You can charge higher at this point because parents want their children to pass. You can even do private lessons for university, polythecnic etc students and make money There are still more ways a teacher can earn money in Nigeria. In conclusion, teachers should learn how to take care of themselves without depending on Government for job. Like it or not, government organizations can't take in the whole youths in Nigeria Good evening |
Why the sudden reactions? I'm getting scared oo |
Nigeria is a country blessed with abundant natural resources. These resources are available in almost all the states in Nigeria. ALMOST. Here are seven poorest states in Nigeria that is experiencing high level poverty 7) Ebonyi state- This state is the only south eastern state in Nigeria. It has poverty rate of 70.6 percent due to poverty, illiteracy and bad government 6) Plateau State- although it is one of the most beautiful states in Nigeria, plateau state has had its share of conflict which has carelessly destroyed its economy 5) Jigawa state- the state is situated at the north western part of Nigeria and is populated with Hausa/Fulani. With low literacy level and low economic growth, with poverty level at 72.1 percent 4)Gombe state- Gombe state is facing its own security challenges and economic instability with a 73.2 percent porverty level 3)Adamawa state-This state has had its fair share of terrorism and low population due to citizens running away from the state with a poverty level of 74.2 percent 2)Kastina State- located at the deepest part of north western area of Nigeria, Kastina state has no solid investments or sector that can create revenue for the state 1)Sokoto state- the seat of the Caliphate, being the hottest state in Nigeria, has made it on this list today. Its harsh climate conditions have prevented foreign investors and investments. It has a porverty level of 81.2 percent. So there you have it folks, this is our list of poorest states in NNigeria. Hopefully, the present or next administration will improve these states and make them better. Good evening |

Jesus! This fulani people mean business ooo. Are you sure this won't cause crisis in ekiti state that has been minding her business since? |
They are dust and you are equally dust. They buried in a coffin the same thing applies to you. So stop ranting, that is your chosen profession thefore, deal with it. |
The Nigerian police are nothing but devils in uniforms! When we talk of top criminals and terrorists in nigeria, they come second after fulani herdsmen. Heck |
My eternal and Her mothers daughter are both filipino series that is a must watch for every one. I love both the series so much but I don't know what happened at the end because it started cracking. My Eternal- did daniel and katerina die? What happened to nathan? Her mothers daughter- did diego reconcile with theresa? What happened to mio? These are questions that have been running through my mind since Filipino film lovers in the house! |
These are failures. |

Not too long ago, the human world was leaving in peace and harmony.... But that all changed when a group of ancient beings known as the 'Sungods' attacked.. They spread their terror through the land And caused distress amongst everyone. They terrorized the humans for A year until a group of mystic beings known as the 'Merpeople' bound to the humans by an oath came to save the day. In the long run, they were able to chase the Sungods into hiding and spread their troops to protect the humans. However, the Sungods were ruled by a relentless and powerful leader- Dragulos, who usually attacked the humans secretly - how could the humans say they are leaving in peace if they were secretly being attacked? All hope was lost..... Not too long ago, the human world was leaving in peace and harmony.... But that all changed when a group of ancient beings known as the 'Sungods' attacked..
