Everyone you know will eventually die, including yourself This is probably the most important reality check you’ll ever get while you’re alive. It’s one of the harshest truths we all have to deal with at some point in our lives. Your mother, your father, your siblings, your dog, your loved ones & you, are mortal and at one point every single one will cease to exist. This alone is a strong enough reason to appreciate everything you have in your life! Holding grudges is stupid, deal with the tiny problems and don’t forget to tell anyone who’s important to you how much you care for them and how important they are to you. Mend your relationships, especially with those who made a difference in your journey because you might not get a second chance to do so. After your relationships affairs are in a good place, it’s time to get serious about your life. YOU WILL DIE ONE DAY! So why the hell do you want to live a boring life? |

sunnybobonwa: Buhari Fires Senior Aide For Allegedly Leaking Story On Gambari’s Son
President Muhammadu Buhari has allegedly sacked a top policy adviser, Lai Yahaya, earlier this month over allegations of providing internal State House information to an online newspaper. Yahaya, a former adviser to the Nigerian presidency on electric power initiatives, was accused of being the central source for on story on PeoplesGazette, which exposed Bolaji, the son of Buhari’s Chief of Staff Ibrahim Gambari.
According to sources who spoke to PeoplesGazette, the former presidential aide has since left Nigeria for Europe amidst fears of further retribution. Yahaya is a lawyer and sustainable energy consultant who previously worked at the State House until 2017 under late chief of staff Abba Kyari, following which he served as an adviser to Raila Odinga at the African Union.
Shortly after his appointment in May 2020, Ibrahim Gambari recalled Yahaya to the State House as the top adviser on power infrastructure, serving only a few months on the job before being sacked on false allegations.
“They said he leaked a story to your newspaper and they cannot work with him in confidence,” a presidency official said. “They tried over and again to get him to confess, saying that some details that were revealed in the story could only have been divulged by him.” PeoplesGazette has denied Yahaya, a graduate of Oxford University’s Balliol College, played any role in the story that exposed Gambari’s son.
At issue was an October 2020 story that cast a spotlight on Bolaji Gambari as the new head of a cabal of administration associates inside the Presidential Villa. The report also detailed the exit of Farouk Gumel, another Aso Rock policy adviser and an influential part of the cabal that held sway under Mr. Kyari.
The Gazette had also accused the President Buhari administration of pressuring network service providers to cut off connections to its site. Source? |

adonainana: Most judges are lawyers who have not only pratixsed law but interpreted statutes and legislations all their life
If he had made an error only a court above him can correct him by overruling him or upholding him
The issue in question is very simple he president needs his service chiefs to be confirmed by the senate shikena Your assertion about the judge is very correct and as you said, ONLY a court ABOVE him can overturn his ruling.. In the case of the president, he does not need the senate to confirm the appointments of service chiefs...HE IS THE COMMANDER IN CHIEF OF THE ARMED FORCES (the highest ranking office of the military)...ONLY a superior commander can overturn his decision according to military law and in this case, no 'commander' is superior to him as regards military appointments. |

I still love my baba...
We just love triviality in this country.
The appointment does not require the approval of NASS... He is the commander in chief of the armed forces and by that power, he decides who becomes what and what.
The National assembly members should go and learn about their duties and stop over stepping boundaries.
Long live baba |

Nuzo1: They should have made the arrest after 28th January when he promised to raise 8 decayed dead bodies as he promised.
Now the rascal will have an excuse to hold on to. And nobody can ever say that he couldn't.
The police/government should have a section that study trends and know when to follow up. Onyeze would have faded out even without any arrest after 28th January.
Now, the stupid fraudster will even be more popular. SMH. The arrest na hoax...inside job |

Richy4:
.. That was an innocent observation.. Kids lacks adult complications... That's why I like them alot...
Do not do anything that will make that kid inhibited...That's one of the attributes of African kids... because society wanted them to act in certain ways..
But when the same African Adults/ parent sees kids in another continent showcasing certain talent, they will be like oh!! so cute.. but the cute ones they have at home, they won't even allow them to be free .. On point broda...you nailed it. It's because of the 'African' way of tackling such cases that makes many of these little ones to start inhibiting, which is very dangerous. By this, they do worse things and hide it from parents but only show them (their parents) the only part they love to see...the good girl/boy side. Hmm...you need to see what these kids do behind their parents. |
