Yay! Personally, I find the Australian accent sexiest for guys. It's more rugged and brutish than the British accent. Like Russell Crowe, Hugh Jackman, Chris Hemsworth, Harry(from mistresses). I also like Portia de Rossi and Cate Blanchet's aussie accents.

For women, though, I prefer Eastern European. Russian and co. It's edgy, thanks to all the spy movies. And their eyes (Milla Jovovich, Milla Kunis) only add to it.

I love the finale, it was beautiful! We've finally got the revenge we wanted. It was such an amazing thing they put Bea's portrait into the box, it left me speechless and amazed

Post bae death.... This season has dragged on and on... I guess they were taking time to build the new characters... But the last 2,3 episodes saved the season for me
The finale writing was the Wentworth we all fell in love with

I thought Liz would make the world's worst attempt at murder, but jeez, she surprised me. Sonia probably survives, but let's all give Liz a round of applause for a valiant and well thought-out effort!

I don't know how I feel about it being Will though. I was expecting him to kill her for a moment based on what she said, but I felt it was obvious what she was doing. She wanted him to 'go over to the dark side' and do something he isn't really capable of, so in that sense, I do feel like she won over him in that mental sense. But after all, the reason she became Governor in the first place, the reason for ALL of the things she's done since she came to Wentworth, is down to her hatred of Will. So although I think it's out ofcharacter, I can recognise that people change and in a way he's the most fitting person for the job.

He crossed a line.... But ferguson taunting him doesn't help her course eventually.... I will take the fact he did it for the greater good

the horrific, psychological torture of a death was much better than the prisoners managing to hang her. Absolutely genius. I love how it all came together, and although I'd have preferred for Bea to kill her last season and Bea still be with us, this is the next best thing. Allie got her revenge in the end. And I like how she decided to end it this way, meaning that Kaz wouldn't be at risk of getting killed OR getting caught and having more years on her sentence.

I am a fan of OITNB and I still don't get the comparison. Wentworth is styled as a maximum security prison while OITNB is portrayed as a low security prison. Surely the murderers are going to give us a grittier show than people who committed petty crimes. Personally, they may both be prison shows but they offer different perspectives and I still can't pick one over the other.

That they have different perspective and the styling is also different

I think it's perfectly normal to compare both cos they offer similar theme i.e.... Female prison shows

Oitnb is easier to watch, makes one laff..relaxing makes you think prison is a summer camp or something
I'm a crazy fan of the show.... Despite i think it fell off in season 3 but later picked up
And i love the flashbacks too
And it has way more major characters than Wentworth

But if i was to choose one of either..... It will be Wentworth all day.... It offers the grittiness, dark side of prison, more brutal and way more realistic, many twists and each episode keeps me at the edge of my seat
You kinda build a relationship with the characters more and it also has the greatest television female villain in Ms ferguson

I started watching Wentworth recently and i tried to compare both by doing a quick online research then.... Majority seems to agree Wentworth is the better show
Wentworth has a higher rating also

I had to squeeze time to watch episode 11 yesterday and it is the best episode in season 5 so far....
I must admit Ferguson over deserves to die.... She can't just keep getting away with everything
And the death of bae smith still hurts
I miss her
She is the only person that can beat Ferguson at her game

What saddens me most about most tvshows with a potential to be great is that they all start very well and along the line gradually loses the plot and becomes rubbish
Season 1 is in most cases usually the best, season 2 may follow up a bit but thereafter it all becomes a joke, another piece of crap

House of cards seasons 1 and 2 was lit, started falling off season 3....season 4 was a disappointment.....
