Trying to force people's hands against an aggressor that the government can't wipe out is a poor take anyways. You move around with convoys, DSS and Police, but you tell poor market traders to come out boldly to face potentially armed assailants. The best thing rather than closing the shop of people who do not come to the market because of fear, is to actually arrest the people who make the traders afraid... Or the governor should show goodwill - let him come to the market with his family, unarmed and without convoys. |
This would have been an interesting thread, if you didn't waste it whining about your usual story of blaming your "background" - it'll be a shame if you're older than 17yrs sha. Meanwhile, I fear the prospect of settling down with an unskilled, or low-earning unambitious partner sha. Finance is one of the biggest problem in marriage, so best to make sure your partner can actually hold the fort if things go south. But more than being skilled or having a hob, the woman (in this context) should be very generous o. Don't go for trophy wife eho thinks all they need to contribute is just birthing kids while you carry all responsibility for your head - a man already has enough troubles. |
This is impressive and quite a full-featured application. I've been contemplating something like this too 😁 Well done |
ogelekpomgam:That's my point. When we all come home, and realize enough is enough. We'll stop washing our hands with spit when we're living in an ocean of wealth. And demand good leadership and governance, from government and every sector. |
They will just ruin African Football if they call for a replay. Good thing it was tossed out. The fine is enough to serve as a deterrence. Sore losers, these Moroccans. |
CodeTemplarr:You don't see the Saudis praying for remittances and connection to the dollar - and in terms of resources we're just as blessed, even more by the diversity we have in natural resources. I feel for the people facing this hard time. But let's not pretend that we need them to suffer there just so we can get foreign exchange. |
But look at one side: We're all going to the west because they have systems and policies that work. ICE is just one of those their policies - if you're an illegal immigrant, best to just come home make we gather demand for a better country. Better invest the small savings you've gotten into something in your home, than living like criminals in fear and uncertainty. |
CallmeTrinity:k. |
Love800:This right here 💯💯 Many of them are just "tutorial sellers", claiming "coach" title. But the general market of Forex is quite profitable for longshots. You can be made with one lucky call, or be bankrupt in one unlucky fall. |
This man has zero ideas how useless he'll be as a person 10yrs from now. They think power is forever - he should take time to learn from folks like Abacha, Buhari, etc whose names are like a spit in the mud. Make e dey form like Hitler. ...the minister contended that the strike was not in compliance with the Trade Disputes Act..You'll always hear him quoting or making reference to the Law. Can he swhearr on what he fears most that he abides with the letter and spirit of the Law in all his dealings? |
rickpat:Until the boss will find someone that will happily use AI to do the usual three week's job in one hour happily. Then he'll sack op. Then op will be crying. You should be more worried that AI can cut down the time it takes to do your work by 90% and holding back is only exposing you to be seen as incompetent if you don't show new abilities. |
Patiks:"What you believe in shapes your reality" just about sums it up. |
erad:Read the difference between my statement and your response. You made a statement that countered the claim on the post where it was said that the guy said in a 2023 interview that he squandered the money. I asked you a question, then you are throwing tantrums. I'm not your dude. Have a good day. |
Phabulous4:In 2022, 500k could buy $1,180. Let him return the money and the interest it could have had if Cubana sofri buy dollar keep, instead of helping the dunmmie |
erad:So you don't think there's anything wrong with his approach towards a benefactor? Can he return the corresponding value of what 500k was worth in 2022, to what it is in 2026? I the guys words "500k was never any good to him" - yes, he squandered it - 500k would have added value to anyone's work/business/skills in 2022 - when the Naira still had some worth. |
Well, all it takes is a "female gender" to be a girlfriend. But it takes a whole lot more to be a "Wife". Wanting to marry somebody is not about how long you've been together - it's about how much value the other person believes you can bring to their lives - it goes both ways. Girls brush off guy's proposals after years too, even after heavy investments by the guy. But if the compatibility is not there, it's not there. Better he was honest and say it as it is - maybe for the guy mind now, they've just been FWB. Know your worth as a man or woman and you won't be treated like this if you communicate the value you bring. |
Chai.... God blessed this country with beauty before sha. Meanwhile, for that person that asked "where can you take a 21yr old American to in Nigeria" - here's a perfect example of one of such places. Although, the photographer wan use saturation kill the picture sha 😝 |
Sirmwill:Those are lies from the darkest pit of poverty-influenced thinking. A poor mind who has zero financial discipline, zero skills to multiply money, non-existent capacity to manage a business or invest in skill/trade already does not have "glory" let alone one that can be stolen. |
Some people should actually, made to pay back every penny they receive in kindness when they turn back to bite the hand that feed them. If I'm Cubana I'll send account make the eeedhiot pay back. And do give away directly to another person wey actually get glory and can benefit from 500k assistance. Following the backlash and online debate that ensued, Cubana Chief Priest reportedly gifted the young man N500,000. In 2023, the fan later admitted in a separate interview that he had squandered the money. If you can squander 500k that you didn't work for, then you never really had any glory. |
merrymike47:😅 God bless you too, my good Sir |
HenryStarlife:Lol.... Not fair na. OP don pay dowry for those rabbit; them con go allow the rabbit get belle - them dey use OP rabbits for surrogacy. Justice for your Rabbit, Justice for OP. |
merrymike47:It's a mentality thing. Many of these people never really had "wealth", but when they were fortunate to now get some money from the generosity of others in numbers, they feel that their "ability" made it possible. And the only way they are able to communicate this achievement is to embrace classism - they segment people and a measure of their faith, based on what they have in their account. They dwell so much on prosperity, because preaching righteousness and purity will drive away corrupt and sinful people, who will take their tithes and offerings to another person who will make them feel comfortable in their sins. Many of these "places of worship" are nothing more than sanctified GNLD/Neolife seminars these days. Hehe: You picked the tales by moonlight stories right. Those were good times 😁 |
The tortoise having received different feathers from all birds in the kingdom, and invited to a party in heaven, became haughty and arrogant because of the beautiful flock of feathers he now had. He mocked the other birds and proclaimed himself as the most beautiful bird in the world. Angered by his arrogance, the other birds all took back their feathers. Now the tortoise was without feathers and couldn't fly back to earth. So he begged the last bird who will listen to him, that it should tell his wife, to place foams and soft things on the ground, that he will jump down and fall on the soft foams to catch his fall. When the bird got to earth, it told tortoise's wife, that tortoise said she should put stones and all the hard things she could find on the floor for him. Well, tortoise finally jumped, landed on the stones, irons and swords, and his shell was scattered. And that's why the tortoise has his shells like that to this day. This story is not about tortoise. |
With all these nairalanders wey dey form hard man redpill agama? Them no go talk. But it'll be nice to have someone give a true life experience, NOT lamba. Are you planning on doing something like that? Personally, Nope. |
Wealthyonos:You no just like peace at all. You just reached directly for the sword of violence 😂 |
Mehn, for you to even do those drawings on the board. You really dey enjoy this teaching profession 😁. KUDOS Corper Shon. |
Antoeni:We dash Osun state. But we know what they mean when they say "Kogi Youths". |
Tenses:You know what Baron mean? Okay, Banditry Barons and Kidnapping Barons. But, yes. Anybody with an ability to observe trends in society is a prophet in your terms. |
Nah, there's no prophecy in that. Just plain observation. I suppose it was obvious then that Nigeria's political elites were fingering the drug trade and profiting from it. So with their ill-gotten wealth from such vices, and Nigeria's money-politics, it was obvious as daylight, and open for the blind to see - these people getting money from criminal activities will become the elected leaders as they'll buy their way into the seat of power. Just as if saying "The people sponsoring banditry and kidnapping will decide the future of Nigeria". |
