Go through my topics mate

I've said many times I love Nigeria that's why I live here full time and retired here, Nigeria is fun and has dynamic people but the male population are vile and filthy liars the second they become fathers to daughters, you lie about your what you call traditional weddings today, you lie about traditional values, you about cultural values and you lie about family values those 3 aspects of life simply do not exist here like human rights don't exist here if you don't have the funds to buy them
You see the difference between an African Man (Me) and you (non-African man)? You seem incapable of holding a conversation without reverting to unfounded claims of "Nigerian men" - shey na Population Analysis you dey do since you retired to Nigeria ba, that you now have so much data on all Nigerian men to make such unintelligent claims?

Please, don't be American/British - because one of our lies in Africa is that y'all are intelligent folks - don't smash our delusion 😭
EducationRe: How To Break Into Data Analyst Entry Level Jobs – Advice Needed! by Stephen0mozzy: 7:49am On May 09, 2025
It's generally tough for entry level in IT skills - you just have to keep showing up. Double down on projects, publish case studies and share your insights from publicly available data.

Make lots of noise on platforms where you know your potential employers/recruiters frequent.

The easiest way to jump the entry barrier mist times is through direct recommendations from people in your network or a recruiter reaching out to you directly.

If you know you're still building portfolio projects worthy of a paid role, then take a break from applying to jobs and focus on projects - the rejections when you're not actually ready can dampen your morale.

Also, remember, people won't hire you because you can use those tools - you need to start saying how you can use those tools to help a business streamline their processes, optimize marketing strategy, etc..... express benefits, not tools.

Then make friends and offer free tiers for your service.... Some free clients usually turn to paid clients if you deliver well and earn their trust.

If anyone is inferior or has an inferiority complex it's Nigerian men, all you do is lie and when someone shows evidence of your lies you double down on those lies or go all quite like told off little boys and it's disgusting how much you as men lie while further lying that you are a country that values respect while lying to get yourselves respected
But look at you seeking online validation of your high and mighty superiority on a Nigerian platform. Lol... Shift 😂

Lol. I tell people this thing is spiritual. How can you win spiritual warfare with physical strength.
Oga, na Greed and indiscipline.
Obviously the OP has a degraded sense of self-responsibility and control.

How on earth do you convince yourself to stake your whole earning on a fixed income in the hope of becoming a millionaire overnight on factors way way out of your control.

Each time you're tempted to stake, divide the amount into 10 places, send the other 9 to someone to hold or you, or put it into apps like fairlock - you can use the remaining 1 part to bet and gradually wean yourself off of it.

Everything spiritual, spiritual.... why God give us sense?

While I understand the motivation for all this una uproar and stuff....

.... People who stand up while everyone else cowers in cowardice are usually worshipped and seen as infallible - one VDM has been arrested under unknown circumstances (offence).... since you all believe in his work, why has more VDM not arise? VDM is an idea that embodies what the rest of us are too afraid to stand up for.

We're now masking our cowardice with social media noise.

For the last time, can you guys educate yourself about what SOVEREIGNTY means? USA has no right to directly intervene in the affairs of another sovereign state - unless through espionage.

Many of the statements so far are encouraging you to encourage yourself with the fact that there are PEOPLE WORSE OFF THAN YOU, but dem no die.

That's very stupidddd.

We all have our unique life, and unique purpose - we have personal ambitions too - what are your ambitions? What is the kind of life you are dreaming of having LEGITIMATELY?

If you know that starting something now will guarantee you earning that good life in 5years time, will you do it?

Let's not encourage settling for less, the world today will give you money for two reasons:
1. THE MONEY YOU MAKE FOR THEM
2. THE VALUE THEY PERCEIVE THEY CAN GET FROM WHAT YOU KNOW

So, before you say you're finished.... What skill do you have? Can you market product for someone and make profits from it?

Go to legit shops that sell phones and laptops, tell them you'll like to take pictures of their products, post it online on jiji or on Facebook buy and sell groups ... Take the buyer to the shops, sell and collect your commission - this can be done for different items too - garri o,yam o, bag of rice o, oil - make use of your network - Whatsapp status.

Advertise yourself shamelessly!!!!!!

Above all, find a personal hustle and go all in - let your job be paying for feeding and rent, while you put your hands on what will better your life.

And hey, unless you have a financially literate partner who is also interested in growing in skills and brain, don't even be thinking of marriage - unless you have some decent savings thay can give you guys a headstart.

All the best.

HealthRe: Sex Addiction: I Am Tired Of Infection by Stephen0mozzy: 8:15am On Apr 18, 2025
You are trying ANYTHING, EXCEPT the thing which you should ACTUALLY DO....

....YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH CONTROLLING YOURSELF.

You get wrapped in gambling for wealth by tiny needle probability.... With that not working, you decided to mask it with another vice... Wasting your cash and undermining your health by LIVING IN PUSSAAAY (Womanizing).

Maybe instead of jumping from one infection to another, or jumping from one bad habit to another, you simply do the needful - STOP LYING TO YOURSELF.

Learn to discipline yourself, maybe surrender yourself to the mentorship of someone who will help you see what you're wasting away - 40yrs from now, will you be proud of the present YOU?

Hmm... Interesting. But you strictly mentioned C++ and leetcode. These are interview-things - what application of those things have you been learning on the side?

Are you doing C++ strictly for Leetcode? Are you looking at writing for embedded systems? Game development?

And that grind on maths, it's awesome too - you really could be on Your way to getting that scholarship if you play your game right. How's your connection to the industry? Do you have an active social profile in places where your potential recruiters are? LinkedIn? Certain discord servers? - More than the knowledge and numbers game - IT/STEM still has a lot of who-know-who.

About setting up a business and living there too, depending on the state, that may not be very wise - security wise - I'd advise you do your planning and research on areas with low cost of accomodation and decent electricity as you'll be needing it - that business center thingy tho - how about teach Mathematics (Dunno to what level you've learnt it) - not to these wacko private schools sha. But if you still venture into it, just make sure to site the place at an area that's good for the business.

God bless your Father, I hope you make him proud.

What in God’s name happened to Benin City? This place wasn’t ravaged by war, didn’t suffer conquest, wasn’t wiped out by genocides, natural disasters, or even the typical Nigerian curse of dysfunction. No earthquakes, no nukes, no colonial carpet-bombing, no scorched-earth madness — yet it’s a shadow of its former self. Once a cradle of ancient civilization, now just coasting on nostalgia. How do you fall so far without a single bullet flying?
Have you heard nothing about the Benin Massacre? Have you heard nothing about the continent-wide exploitation of colonial powers.

Go and ready how Russia, USA, China came to be.

Benin kingdom should have been a country of its own because they were a great empire before the colonial era.

They should have been more ambitious. They should have taken Lagos when they had the chance because of its strategic location
How are you discounting the lives that were lost in the conquest that you wished they aspired to. You think Russia, Usa, and the likes conquered places by Vote Like or Share on social media?

The Benin Kingdom was doing well for its capacity - in skills and might - they were as structured in town planning as they were in their customs.
