DMerciful:You mean they were not GREEDY. You mean they were satisfied with what they had and not see the need to make slaves of others who had right to be their own free people. |
Milanodigishop:I'd like to be Thunderstorm. I too calm for this current incarnation. |

![]() In Nigeria’s State House, where words carry weight and silence often says more, Otega Ogra has emerged as one of the administration’s most consistent and consequential voicesAlmost sounding like AI's common "In a world where........" Lol. Well, I wish the young man greatness in His role. I however see no need for this long narcissistic epistle. The best way to look good is to make IMPACT in Service, not sponsored blog articles. |

"Just keep him busy" for that amount? Well, seems the parents are not concerned about the results anyways, they just need a way to keep the child doing something, irrespective of his current progress. I personally will not ask anyone to terminate any stream of income, but the FF financial and mental investments is not work the meagre pay. I personally tutor students too, and more than payment, i measure the progress of the child, if there's no improvement, either I call the parents and draw a mutual participating strategy or I withdraw from the engagement. An approach the teacher can take is this. We know it's a child and they don't really have a deep idea of consequence, so, your person should meet the child at the middle..... Find a way to introduce play into the learning process. Most kids already hate the monotony of school, and wouldn't want to experience same extended to their home - gamify the learning experience. Secondly, introduce a reward system, let the child know he'll have a break of 5 minutes to play a game on a phone or something. But if he gets good grades in the classwork, he gets to play for 10 minutes. Budget 30minutes from the 2hr:30mins smartly to keep him interested. Meanwhile, depending on your area, try exploring other parents who will allow you tutor their kids remotely, this physical own is costing you too much (time with your child) |
SmartyPants:Spot on! He wasn't proven innocent, which doesn't speak well. We wish him grace. And for the supposed accusers (victims) , I hope they lied, else, it's an injustice to them. |
The UI. For a new "platform", you don already use ads wan spoil the user experience. Na patience dem take dey chop adsense money. |
Defensive Business: Learning from Software Development In software development, there's something known as defensive coding. This is how you write code to predict possible exploitation and write guards that would prevent such "attempts" from crashing your system. You don't assume everything will be perfect, you don't assume users will always interact with your software in a textbook manner - you expect EXCEPTIONS and CATCH them! As a Business Owner or Startup Founder, you must: • Plan for economic downturns, not just growth • Validate your market assumptions BEFORE scaling • Implement fail-safes - you need cash reserves • Monitor key metrics in REAL-TIME • Build modularity so problems don't cascade • Create documentation so knowledge survives turnover The most successful businesses don't just work under ideal conditions - they handle exceptions gracefully and continue operating despite unexpected inputs. Remember: It's not paranoia if the threats are real. In business, as in code, the question isn't if exceptions will occur, but WHEN. I'm Stephen from Cre8steve Technologies, and we help forward thinking individuals build professional websites and manage social media for effective brand communication and lead generation. #DefensiveBusiness #StartupStrategy

Hmm..... I hope they're not trying to discourage the "Recall approach". Most Nigerians didn't even know it was possible to recall elected officials. Note: My observation is about the process itself and INEC's stance. |
The irony |
We were blessed with Natural Resources, But cursed with greed.... If we make everyone rich, who will massage our egos. Cos i don't see why we have not seem leaders since the so called Democracy. Just popular rubbishin human form |
Nice one! Almost making me like php 😅 |
Putting her feelings and Health on the scale, you should know that her health takes priority. Unless she came to you to give her a vagina examination for a skit (because obviously, you're no doctor), then you should straight up tell her you believe she should go for a check up. |
I blame the people wey allow photographer snap them because of one tire. That's how we embrace rubbish, and thus they treat them like rubbish |
Xannadu:This right here!!!!!! Taking actions because it generally looks good, but the intention is void of any true compassion or emotion. So they so loved and want to honour the guy, but they couldn't give a rat's ass to reach his family? Awon werey humans |

“I said I didn’t want to die for my mother. I had a granddaughter who is a few months old, I held on to her. Every day I thought of my mother,” he said"He who knows his why can endure any how" - Friedrich Nietzsche Damn! 95 days technically surviving only on hope! Maximum respect to the man 🙌🏾 ...survive by drinking rainwater he collected on the boat and eating insects, birds and a turtle. When push comes to shove, you have no idea what you'll be willing to do to latch on to this blue planet called earth. |
romeodunn:Very valid point - a shared sense of identity. Its appalling to see and read supposedly learned people dipping into the sour pot of convenient tribalism when it serves their interests or advances their ambitions, yet we expect that the leaders will be any different. A Leader that will make tribal bigots feel ashamed to in their bigotry and embrace unity is what we want.... and i don't mean during elections. A leader doesn't have to be a President to change the mindset of the people for national development.... His personality is a platform in its own right! |
doncartel:Lol... Just stop claiming them just because they have igbo names, and were born in an igbo state. If you believed the tiniest bit about the words you've typed in your statements - nationalism and globalization, you won't be playing tribal sentiments in the same sentence. PO and NOI are great minds ofcourse, but they are NIGERIAN first..... They see it, you should too. That's why you see they are holding discussions about improving Nigeria, and not ONLY their state in igbo land |
Sholadvem247:God has already given us.... Probably too much more. But seems those who have the enlightened mind to fit this shoe have either being sucked out by brain drain, or have restrained themselves from playing in the cesspool of today's leadership game |
doncartel:You have not read their ideas I believe. I doubt their economic ideas are ethnocentric. There is nothing like "we igbos" - they're first Nigerians. For one, maybe what we should be talking about, is people who inspire Nationalism rather than this regionalist mindset you just expressed. |
Bobloco:Hmm... I can almost agree. But his popularity kindda latched on to Nigerians "at the moment need" for an alternative to the two party system - that always forces us to choose the lesser evil. He was already a Leader before the election.... How inspiring was he before the election? What was the conversation he was leading before the election? Hard to say a man is humble when he is before you with an empty plate for his meal. |
Penguin2:Your likes can't hold an intellectual conversation without resorting to the foolery common to the crowds. |
A thought just hit me now..... If you take away the money and political influence, is there any Nigerian leader that can inspire the masses by the strength of their character, educate by the depth of their reasoning or by the principles/policies they push for? Maybe na me no dey follow politics, but no one comes to mind. Says alot about the people. And for those of us who'll say...."No be we vote them in o" Then shame on us! The condition on which government exists (Democracy) is that we surrender our individuality for the collective good - that which serves to benefit the majority, rather than the elitist class, on the contractual term that government will protect US! But today we've become prisoners in our own house. We now worship the oppressors and fight anyone who dares to point out the chains of our captivity. Do you have any one that can inspire you intellectually? I'll like to know, and read up on their sayings and actions. Edit: There are some mentions that will be intentionally ignored, because the commentors think forcing their opinion on others is the same thing as having a conversation. |
The problem with this kind of service is that, you know your clients. And the real clients you need will not trust you |
