Police officers attached to Julius Berger, Akwa Ibom State shoot and kill a newly appointed task force chairman by name UBONG UDOFIA in charge of Itam Park, Itu L.G.A.

One of the police officers who was off duty went to load his vehicle outside the park, by Itam Peace Column against the regulation of N.U.R.W. The task force team who were in charge of the park to stop touting around the park had an encounter with him.He called his colleagues who are attached to Julius Berger.They came with two Hilux vehicles filled with police men and shot sporadically, held the chairman and shot him to death. They escaped and left one of their ID cards.

The deceased left behind little kids in nursery/secondary school.

This is what happened to a man identified as Prince Nnodim,a native of Obibi in Etche local government area  Rivers State yesterday around 9pm in Iguruta,Ikwerre Local Government area of Rivers State.

On his way back home with his wife Hon Mrs Adanma Prince Nnodim,the councilor representing Obibi Akwukabi ward in Etche,he was attacked by unknown gunmen and shot.He is critically ill in the hospital.The wife was kidnapped and taken to an unknown destination.Her phone has been switched off since the incident

The spiritual director of Holy Ghost Adoration Ministry, Uke, Anambra State, Rev Fr Emmanuel Obimma aka Ebube Muonso, has healed HIV positive girl.

While giving testimony, the girl said she came to Adoration for the first time on Wednesday. While praying for sick people,Rev Ebube Muonso said that there was a sick person suffering HIV.

He urged the positive woman to do test the following day while praying.

Surprisingly to her,she did the test on Thursday and it was negative. Father Ebube Muonso told her to get the result of the test next time for him.

Recalling her ordeal,she said she contacted the disease through blood transfusion. According to her,her father who was HIV positive donated blood to her when she was sick while young.She has been going from hospital to hospital since then due to recurrent illnesses.

A man identified as Aminu took to Facebook to mourn his younger brother who was killed by Boko Haram.He earlier survived four deadly attack by the insurgents.Below is what he wrote.....

'I remember like yesterday when you were born in 1992. I with our father buried your placenta. I dug the ground, placed it in the hole and covered the hole while Baba watched.
Growing up, all you wanted so passionately to do was serve Nigeria as a soldier. All efforts to discourage you failed. After trying thrice and failing, we thought you would give up especially since you were already earning money in Minna. But again, you tried the 4th time and succeeded. You finally got what you had always wanted from childhood.
Your first major posting was to go face Boko Haram. Many felt you should leave but, you would always say "its a job I took for Nigeria". Four times you escaped deadly attacks with many of your colleagues killed in some cases. All the times, you would ask us to keep praying for you rather than asking you to leave because you won't.
Again, this Monday evening, your team of FIFTEEN men came under attack. The vehicle you were travelling in was bombed by Boko Haram. All your colleagues we were told died except you. While most were beyond recognition, you survived with shattered legs. We found a way to thank God that at least, you survived. We didn't know your survival was going to be brief. We were to be told later again that you couldn't carry on. The Nigeria you were passionate to serve, you died for her. How could I have imagined that you would go before me when I buried your placenta 27 years ago. Thank you for your passionate service to Nigeria. Rest in peace my brother. Akeem my brother, its painful to bid you farewell. But, who are we when God has taken a decision. May Allah in His infinite kindness turn all your suffering in the Army which you severally narrated as restitution for all your sins. May He grant you His Rahama and forgive all your shortcomings''

A 21yr old has 'macheted' his father in Cross River for sleeping with another woman.According to report,the man in the picture was 'macheted' by his first son when he caught him pants down with a single mother of two.

The boy came to the scene with his mother after they were alerted by a neighbor. Fighting started when the boy's mother held his father's side chick(adultery mate) and started slapping her on the face.

The boy became angry and used the machete when his dad came to separate the two fighting women and out of anger, slapped his wife on her cheek.

This narrowly missed the carotid artery and jugular veins in the neck.

A man identified as George Daniel took to Facebook to share the sad of his
friend,Jumbo Ogah,a Civil Defense staff who was beaten to death by police.Read the story he shared below.....

'YESTERDAY NIGHT I got a call that JUMBO OGAH was beaten to death by the police. It was unbelievable. You see, I spent four years in Bayero University Kano with Jumbo. We were in the same class and the same room for almost three of this four years. He knew almost everyone in my family. In fact the last job he was doing before he joined NSCDC was with my senior brother of which I introduced him to back then.

JUMBO OGAH was an Assistant Superintendent of Civil Defense Corps. He was wearing Uniform, taking his two children to school, with his wife inside the car. In a hurry to catch up so that his children don’t get there late, he followed one way and the police stopped him. He tried to explain but they dragged him out of his vehicle and started beating him with baton. They took him to their police station and beat him to death. He was wearing NSCDC uniform.

I have informed some of our room mates about this happening and no one believes it but this is real. They killed him in front of his wife and children. Nigeria is really hopeless.

I remember visiting his mother many years ago during one of my visit to OTUKPO. He was a carbon copy of his mom. Anytime I remember her I laugh. She concluded I am not Idoma because she taught I had Hausa accent.

How can you beat a man to death in front of his wife and children? Not just any man, an NSCDC man in uniform.

Now I am very scared of this country. I don’t feel safe. It is not safe. In the broad day light the police beat him to death, in front of his wife and children, Jumbo Ogah, Jumbostic, this is someone that I knew and have lived with and someone who knew me. This is the dream Nigeria that he is serving gave him as a gift, death'

Assailants broke into the home of Joseph Tumwebaze, a businessman from Bufunjo subcounty in Kyenjojo District of Uganda and hacked to death his five children aged between a month and seven years.

Tumwebaze was reportedly on a business trip to Kasese District when assailants broke into his home and locked Gerald Akampulira, a relative, into his room,then proceeded to the bedroom where they demanded for money from the wife.

According to a report by police spokesperson Fred Enanga,Justus Balyeija, aka Yusi, and his wife Kelly Akampasa, Lauben Muhereza and his wife Sylvia Alinda, as well as Allan Turyahikayo, have confessed to killing the children in revenge attack

“Preliminary investigation indicates that the suspects hatched a plot to carry a revenge attack on the family of Tumwebaze, whom they accused of facilitating the release of his brother Godfrey Ndyanabo from jail,” Enanga said.

Ndyanabo was in 2012 charged with the murder of a one Bright, brother of Turyahikaya and Balyeija. The two were not convinced with the out-of-court settlement between the two families and repeatedly threatened avenge the life of their brother, Police said.

“The attackers traced for Tumwebaze but found when he was not around; and instead attacked the five children in their bedroom and hacked them all to death"

“They further attacked, seriously assaulted Tumwebaze’s wife and dumped her body into Kahompo river, thinking she was dead. She was, however, rescued the following morning and rushed to hospital where she is undergoing treatment.”
