While members of the APC were returning from a rally in Ado Local Government of Benue, PDP thugs ambushed and attacked them with matchets and clubs at Inikri in Ulayi Ward leaving them with various degrees of injuries.

During the attack, Wilson Onazi Obande, Emmanuel Oghalu and several others were injured.

Charity they say begins at home. And so it is with Ituku land, the hometown of Rev Fr Ejike Mbaka on 19th January 2019 when he put smiles on the faces of the poor and unemployed sons and daughters of the land through his charity programme.

Amen Super News reports that Fr Mbaka was there live to present brand new equipments and items to many of the indigenes of the town to help them start up their crafts, trade and business. This time Fr Mbaka did not gift his people fish but gave them the equipment to catch the fish. Some of the beneficiaries of this gesture include Chinyere M. Okereke who received tailoring equipment comprising of sewing machine and weaving machine, Amaka Okeke received hair dressing equipment comprising of standing dryer, hand dryer,washing basin, rollers big and small,two facing mirrors,half dozen towel, cupboard,butter and one year rent for a shop.Ujam Glori Ebubechukwu from Umukulu village received cash for procurement of sewing machine and one year rent for shop,Ujam Ikechukwu received carpentry equipment comprising of saw electric,tap,plum, zack saw,rope,Okoye Chinenye from Umuoyiba Ituku received standing dryer,hand dryer, washing basin,hair food,hair relaxer,hair conditioner, hair shampoo, hair iron (straighter),brush,comb scissors,curling iron and cash gift.

Okafor Njideka received a standing dryer, swashing basin,hand dryer, one year rent for shop and ollers. Others are Onyebuchi Onu Nelson Izuchukwu who received items for house wiring and installations comprising of drilling machine, POP cutting machine, POP cutting net, wireless crew driving machine,wooden harmmer, Monday hammer, set of screw driver, player and cash gift. Okafor Chukwuma received equipment for house electrical wiring,Chukwu Ifeanyi Godfrey received equipment for mason, Onyebuchi Onu received equipment for his shoe making craft, one year rent for shop and cash gift.Ogbuagu Uche who is a trader received cash gift to enhance her trading from north to Port Harcourt,
Ikephye Chidimma received equipment for tailoring and some cash gift. There are others that received other kinds of equipments they need to start up their businesses and some cash gifts

TROOPS VANQUISH BOKO HARAM TERRORISTS

Troops of Sector 3 of Operation LAFIYA DOLE deployed in Mallam Fatori in Abadam Local Government of Borno State yesterday 2 February 2019 at about 6pm during a routine defence patrol encountered Boko Haram Terrorists whose intent was to attack troop’s location. The insurgents who came in their numbers met their waterloo as the gallant troops proved to be hard knot for them to crack.

The terrorists were mercilessly trashed due to the superior fire power, courage and discipline displayed by own troops in conjunction with the Air Task Force. Many of them were neutralized while several others escaped with gunshot wounds. Various weapons and ammunitions were recovered from the terrorists. Unfortunately, three soldiers were wounded in action and presently receiving treatment at 7 Division Hospital Maiduguri.

Reacting to the gallantry displayed by the troops, the Commander Sector 3 operation LAFIYA DOLE commended the troops for their gallantry, courage and loyalty in the fight against insurgency stressing that though the job of a soldier is demanding, the nation will always count on their loyalty and determination to end insurgency in the Nigeria.

He further reiterated the commitment of the officers and soldiers to bring to an end to the activities of Boko Haram Insurgents in Northern Borno. The Commander also solicited for public support from good citizens and urged them to report the presence of suspected wounded persons within their locality to the nearest security outpost.

The former chairman and member representing Etim Ekpo/Ika State constituency, Engr Akanimo Edet, accompanied by member representing Abak/Etim Ekpo/Ika federal constituency, Hon Emmanuel Ekon, allegedly launched an attack on innocent residents of Ikpe Annang in Etim Ekpo Ward 9 and injured many.

According to report,the APC chieftains were accompanied by heavily armed policemen, soldiers and thugs who shot sporadically and wounded scores. Many residents were fatally wounded.Akanimo Edet was said to have been accompanied by some wanted criminals and cultists who killed one Mr Sylvester, an indigene of the area two years ago.

Luck however ran out of them as Engr Akanimo Edet and his gang were resisted by youths of the area who apprehended two suspects involved in the shootout and a vehicle belonging to Akanimo Edet seized by the youths.



This will be the first time the community will be experiencing bloody and violence confrontation since youths of the area accepted the state governments amnesty and rehabilitation program put together by the Governor in conjunction with security agencies in the state.

Unconfirmed reports say Akanimo Edet on arriving Uyo from Etim Ekpo has gone into hiding after evacuating his wife and children from his private residence in Uyo but the police have begun a manhunt for him and his accomplices.

The campaign train of the Peoples Democratic Party, Imo State, was at St. Mary’s Primary School, Iho, for the Campaign Rally held in Ikeduru Local Government.

Below are pictures of a middle aged man Boniface Abba who fatally attacked a man with a knife in front of Human Rights Radio and Television, Kaura district Abuja on Thursday 31st January, 2019 during Brekete family program.

The attacker who claims to be a painter and resides at Gosa, along airport road in Abuja said he came to Human Rights radio to lay complain.

However it was gathered that Boniface had been coming to Human rights radio for the past four days but because of his unruly manners security officials attached to Human Rights Radio and Television barred him from gaining access to the premises.

The victim has been taken to the hospital while the attacker Mr.Boniface Abba has been handed over to the police for further investigation.

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has stated that the State Government will ensure that the killers of Ekele Fyneface Chikobi Cohen (EFCC) are brought to justice.

Speaking at a meeting with Community Development Committees in Port Harcourt on Friday, Governor Wike said the State Government will ensure all those involved in the dastardly act are tracked down by security operatives.

Governor Wike said he received news of the murder of EFCC, the legislative leader of Ahoada West Local Government Area, with shock, noting that he was unsettled by the sad news.

"The people who killed EFCC will face the consequences. All hands are on deck to bring the killers to justice. They will meet their Waterloo ".

A minute silence was observed in honour of Ekele Fyneface Chikobi Cohen (EFCC) at the event. Governor Wike prayed for the repose of his soul and for God to grant the family the strength to bear the irreparable loss.

Ekele Fyneface Chikobi Cohen (EFCC) was until his death the leader of Ahoada West Local Government Area Legislative Assembly and prominent social media practitioner. He was a strong supporter of Governor Wike.

The worst has happened.Simon & Uzochukwu Egbogu, from Obodo-Okwe in Ikenga Ogidi in idemili North L. G.A of Anambra state have been killed by gas explosion. According to report, the duo are victims of gas tank explosion belonging to Dangote cement.The leaking tank was brought to their workshop for repair.

The driver had told them that the tank was empty but it has some left over gas inside.The driver was said to have lied to them because he was in a haste.During the process of welding the tank,it exploded and killed the two.Their corpses have been deposited at a mortuary in Gboko, Benue State.

Trezzy Helm reports that Mrs Igwe Justina from Mbiri from Ika North East local government Area of Delta State successfully completed her 9-months course with triplets,two girls and boy.The matrons and doctors at Central Hospital,Agbor worked out their hearts when it became obvious that the devil wanted to do overtime. Two years ago the mother of Triplets (Nne etoor) an unemployed NCE holder was also delivered of twins.
Mr Camilus Igwe , the husband also a native of Mbiri who is an unemployed university graduate (Bsc Econs) hustling as a motorcyclist (Okada rider) in Agbor to fend for the family glorified God for his mercies and grace that saw his wife through what he called a titanic battle.

"I am short of words, please Delta State Government,politicians,businessmen, well- to -do individuals, NGOs,clergymen should come to my assistance ;the load is too much , one room apartment can't contain us, Okada money can't feed us , clothe or provide drugs for the kids, I am confused right now,so many things racing in my mind but I know that my God liveth,God will send my helpers" he said.

The beautiful kids are still cooling off at the Post Natal ward of CH, Agbor.
