The attached photograph is 4 year LOKOJI GODWIN MONDAY who was abducted on Monday 13th January at Kadapa market Maraba Nassarawa state not far from the capital Abuja,

Godwin was on his way back from school accompanied by his 9 year old senior sister when they were accosted by a couple who said they liked the boys uniform and asked the sister to take them to the boys school which is just round the corner from their house, apparently they played upon the naivety of the sister and asked her to leave the boy with the wife whilst she showed the husband the school.

On showing the husband the school she discovered her brothers lunch bag and school bag on the floor the boy was no where to be found, the man then ran away.

Please we are appealing to the public if anybody has any information about the boy to contact

Honourable Minister of Transportation, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi today arrived Government House Port Harcourt with Acting President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo for a Town Hall Meeting.

According to unconfirmed reports,top APC members in the State and their party leaders were neither invited nor allow to participate or speak during the Town Hall Meeting.Only PDP members were allowed to speak.

'Police Corruption : Police officers in Azikoro Police Station in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State detained a female meat hawker and collected Eight thousand Naira illegally from her. According to the lsellers in the area gang up and reported her to Police at the Azikoro Division for an offence yet to be mentioned and at the end they collected the afore said amount and released her. Meanwhile her daily meat sales worth thousands of Naira is being declared unsellable, uneatable, spoiled, and indeed a waste. Bayelsa State Commissioner of Police, please take Action now to save the image of the Police. The incident happened today, the 12th of February, 201'.

CONTRACTOR ABANDONS N37M AIRPORT HANGAR, ABSCONDS AS SENATE THREATENS ARREST

A mild drama ensued at the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology Zaria this week when the Senate Committee on Aviation, led by its Deputy Chairman, Senator Bala Nallah, went on oversight to the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology (NCAT) only to find that a contractor, Mushaj Farah Nigeria Ltd., had absconded after receiving thirty seven million naira (N37m) meant for the completion of the colleges’ third hangar project.

Rector and Chief Executive of the college, Captain Abdulsalami Mohammed, gave a brief presentation of the challenges of the college since its establishment in 1964, stressing that some of them include the non release of funds meant for projects within the college.

He also identified other problems such as fluctuating exchange rate for dollar denominated projects, non-availability of foreign exchange, high cost of Aviation gasoline (AV GAS 100LL), inadequate number of instructors and personnel, insufficient office space for staff, cafeteria and hostel accommodation for students of the college, lack of equipment for instrument flight training and absence of runway lights for night flying and security of college premises because of a lack of perimeter fencing which has led to encroachment of the college land.

Mohammed said the challenges are affecting operations of the college but however disclosed that in the midst of all these the college had tried to be optimistic thereby recording several gains.

Captain Mohammed said that in 2016 alone, 716 students graduated from the college offering 44 courses in the various fields of aviation technology and three hundred and ninety-five students are still enrolled in twenty-nine courses.

He also disclosed that several projects have been completed such as establishment of an airfield lighting workshop, provision of infrastructure for aircraft piston overhaul, provision of a water treatment plant, provision of airfield advance guard security equipment and successful completion of several international certifications.

Five members of the committee which paid the visit; Senator Ben Murray-Bruce representing Bayelsa east, Senator Mohammed Lafiagi representing Kwara North, Senator Rilwan Akanbi representing Oyo South, Senator Ahmed Ogembe representing Kogi Central and Senator Bala Nallah, all commended the school for a job well done.

They however maintained that the 53 year old institution should be upgraded to meet 21st century challenges so as to be able to compete with its counterparts globally.

Senator Na'Allah criticized the absence of key infrastructure especially runway lights which he said that had they been installed within the last fifteen years, they would have saved the nation millions of dollars in foreign exchange.

They committee which visited several ongoing projects within the school premises were incensed upon realization that the school’s third hangar project had not been completed, Senator Nallah threatened the arrest of the contractor upon realization that he had been mobilized with about thirty-seven million (37M) naira and had only performed a job valued at about eleven million (11M) naira.

The college principal architect said all efforts to get the contractor back on site had proved abortive.

The committee finally agreed that if a one week ultimatum given to the contractor was not honored, he would be reported to the economic and financial crimes commission for due prosecution and full refund of the sum.

After the visit at the college of technology, the committee proceeded to the Kaduna International Airport to assess the ongoing repair works at the airport.

Senator Ben Murray-Bruce commended the contractor for a job well-done but appealed to the Ministry of Aviation for prompt release of funds so that the job can be completed within the next two weeks as promised by the contractor.

Other projects at the Airport such as the computerized landing system and painting of the runway were also assessed by the committee.

ANTI-CORRUPTION WALK.

The acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ibrahim Magu, today, Saturday, February 11, 2017, led out officers of the Commission for a Road Walk Against Corruption. According to him, while passing the anti-corruption message to the psyche of the people, there is also the need for officers of the Commission to be physically fit in order to combat the menace of corruption in the land.

Senate President,Bukola Saraki has appointed Dr. Hakeem Baba Ahmed, as his new Chief of Staff.He succeeds Senator Isa Galaudu, who resigned last week.

In a statement by his Special Adviser (Media and Publicity), Yusuph Olaniyonu, Saraki said the appointment takes immediate effect.

Baba Ahmed, 61, was educated at the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, London School of Economics and University of Sussex, both in the United Kingdom. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree.

A former public servant and intellectual, he started his working career as a lecturer with the then University of Sokoto now known as Usman Dan Fodio University, Sokoto, before joining the Kaduna State Civil Service.

He later transferred his service to the Federal Civil Service where he rose to become Permanent Secretary.

He was permanent Secretary at various times in the Presidency and later Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

He later became Secretary of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). He is a holder of the national honour of Officer of the Federal Republic (OFR).

The new Chief of Staff to the Senate President is a columnist with the Daily Trust newspapers.

'We all know that it is widespread in Nigeria that Service Station attendants are fraudulent and in fact, they have been subtly termed as "crooks". Well, I am proud to announce to you that Total Nigeria is not in that category!
It was yesterday 1st February 2017; a report came in that a customer returned to the Total service station Yakuba road Illorin Kware state, complaining that he had lost an envelope containing money. The customer did not go beyond the pump Island hence the search started and ended there but to no avail.
Later that day, an envelope was found containing N108,000 between the sand bucket and the fuel pump. The station immediately reported the issue on air through a radio station to contact the man as he had his name on the envelope with other documents. The man later came back to the station in tears, full of appreciation and gratitude and yes the cash was handed over to him.
It was so touching to know that the N108,000 was meant for the school fees/purchase of forms for three of another man's children and was given to him to execute. Thanks to our Heroic attendant, the money remained intact.

Today 1/02/2017 , members of the Academic Forum of the Islamic Movement visited Christian Association of Nigeria  (CAN) Headquarters in Bauchi.

The visit is aimed at promoting mutual understanding and familiarization between the Islamic Movement and Christian Association of Nigeria and as a gesture of bringing Unity among people of different faith in Nigeria.

Rev Joshua Maina,  the Chairman CAN ,Bauchi thanked the Academic Forum for what he called the wonderful visit. Reverend Joshua encouraged  Nigerians to embark on similar campaign for the unity of the entire people of  Nigeria . He showed dismay on how some media outlets are trying to incite people to turn against Shaikh Zakzaky and Shia Islam, despite the fact that Shaikh Zakzaky and Shia are the most peace loving people and dedicated citizens of Nigeria.

He called on all people of conscience to shun Saudi Arabian campaign of disunity and terrorism as well as its western allies.

Academic Forum presented a gift designed by the Academic Forum's Art and Design unit showing the Inscription of Jesus.

Statement on the Appointment of Dana Boente as Acting Attorney General

The acting Attorney General, Sally Yates, has betrayed the Department of Justice by refusing to enforce a legal order designed to protect the citizens of the United States. This order was approved as to form and legality by the Department of Justice Office of Legal Counsel.

Ms. Yates is an Obama Administration appointee who is weak on borders and very weak on illegal immigration.

It is time to get serious about protecting our country. Calling for tougher vetting for individuals travelling from seven dangerous places is not extreme. It is reasonable and necessary to protect our country.

Tonight, President Trump relieved Ms. Yates of her duties and subsequently named Dana Boente, U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, to serve as Acting Attorney General until Senator Jeff Sessions is finally confirmed by the Senate, where he is being wrongly held up by Democrat senators for strictly political reasons.

“I am honored to serve President Trump in this role until Senator Sessions is confirmed. I will defend and enforce the laws of our country to ensure that our people and our nation are protected,” said Dana Boente, Acting Attorney General.
