CelebritiesHarrysong 2 Adopt An Orphan After Donating Goods 2 Orphanage Home In Delta(pics by stephenduru(op):
Harrysong visited City of David Orphanage home on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 in Asaba as part of activities before his concert on July 31st. The Five Star Music act, alongside his One Delta Peace Movement team donated some relief materials to the children. Expressing her gratitude and appreciation, Evangelist Hephzibah Oluwadare coordinator of the orphanage home said:

‘The children and I are overly excited on your visit today just as it is evident in the kind of reception they gave you when you entered the premises; they depend on kind hearted people like you to survive every day. We are full of appreciation whenever we receive visitors like you from different parts of the world who come to share their God given resources with the needy. May God continue to enrich and uplift you’.

Speaking to the children, Harrysong encouraged the children to stay focused and not allow themselves to be overwhelmed by their situation.

‘I am happy to be in your midst. Your situation only reminds me of my life as a growing up child; but by the grace of God I rose up above my situation and today I am star, a role model and today I can see in your midst, stars who would change the world, stars who would reshape our country, stars who would further rebrand our image of our dear country Nigeria, stay positive, work hard and pray hard’.

Furthermore, Desmond Ike Chima, Harrysong’s media manager affirmed the entertainer’s commitment to giving back to the society that made him.

‘Harrysong’s action today has only brought to bear the famous words of Mahatma Gandhi which I will quote, ‘The simplest acts of kindness are by far more powerful than a thousand heads bowing in prayer’.

‘On the other hand, Harrysong has also kicked off the process of adopting a particular baby from the orphanage soonest; we shall make further details available to the public once all the paper works are completed. Indeed he is committed to contributing his own quota to making the world a better place.’

Here is a throwback picture of when football legend and former Super Eagles Coach, Stephen Keshi, met his wife. They got married 6 months after and they both died 6 months apart.

Keshi was married to his wife Kate (née Aburime) for 33 years. She died on 10 December 2015, after battling cancer for three years. They had four children.

Keshi had a heart attack and died en route to hospital on 8 June 2016 in Benin City, aged 54.

Since her death, Keshi had been in mourning. He came back to Nigeria to be with her. He had planned to fly back before he suffered a cardiac arrest and died.

According to his son, Stephen Keshi Junior, who shared the picture below: “They met and 6 months later they were married, she passed away and 6 months later they were reunited in heaven. Inseparable, That’s real love. What’s stronger then love?#33yearsandcounting”

PoliticsFani-Kayode: Nigeria's 3rd Mahdi & Last Of Amalekite Kings by stephenduru(op): 9:21pm On Jul 25, 2016
NIGERIA'S THIRD MAHDI AND THE LAST OF THE AMALEKITE KINGS

Forgive me for my curious silence over the last few months but this was due to circumstances beyond my control.

As you know I was locked up in President Buhari's gulag and I was not allowed to write from there.

Needless to say I missed all my readers. I have chosen to share my views about our nation today because I am aware of the fact that President Buhari has not finished with me yet and I may be picked up and thrown into detention on other trumped up charges very soon. This government will do and say anything to silence my voice but they shall not prevail.

Whatever the case my safety, life and future lies in the hands of God and not theirs. Despite the obvious dangers and various warnings that I have received from both my persecutors and well-wishers I shall continue to write as long as God gives me life and liberty.

It is not what happens to me that matters but rather what happens to Nigeria and the millions of ordinary people that are suffering in our country from the daily oppression of our modern-day slave masters. That aside, permit me to share my views.

A couple of weeks ago a 73 year old Christian grandmother was beheaded in Kano because she asked some muslims to stop washing their feet in front of her door before their prayers.

A few days later a female pastor of the Redeemed Church of God was hacked to pieces by a mob of muslims in the Kubwa district of Abuja simply for doing her morning cry of evangelism and urging the people to give their lives to Christ.

Not too long after that two hundred muslim youths burnt down a Catholic Church and attacked worshippers in Niger state claiming that they had no right to go to church on a friday because it was the muslim day of worship.

A few days later a Christian traditional ruler in Plateau state was matcheted to death by a group of Muslim militants and Fulani herdsmen.

Such attacks are now common place in our country and they are no longer isolated events.
Worse still cases of institutional racism and religious bigotry are on the rise because our government appears to be encouraging it. Permit me to share one example.

During my prolonged detention at the EFCC a group of cell mates were conducting an all night christian prayer. All of a sudden the cell guards burst in and screamed at them saying that this "nonsense" must stop and they must go to sleep immediately.

The inmates complied sheepishly out of fear and the prayers stopped. It was one a.m. in the morning. I was in the opposite set of cells but I heard all the noise and warnings of the guards.

I sent for one of them and I asked him why he stopped the inmates from doing an all night prayer. His response was that that was efcc policy because the prayers were too loud and they may be planning an escape. I told him that all he had to do was to ask them to lower their voices.

And that God and prayer was all they had. I also told him that if the inmates that were praying
were muslims he would not have ordered them to stop. He stormed off in anger.

The efcc has become a tool of oppression in the hands of the core muslim north who are using it to crush dissent and silence the opposition.

This assertion is confirmed by the fact that 98 per cent of those that are detained be the efcc for 2 days or more are southerners and middle belters whilst 98 per cent of those that run the agency at the top are from the core muslim north.

Worse still the lingua franca of the agency is hausa whilst the overwhelming majority of detainees are christians both in Lagos and Abuja. Core northern detainees are treated like royalty whilst Middle Belt and southern inmates are treated like filth.

Just as the Nigerian military was an institution that was designed and used to suppress and intimidate all the so-called lesser ethnic groups in Nigeria between july 29th 1966 and May 29th 1999 so it is with the EFCC today.

That is how emboldened the hegemonists in our midst have become and that is the level of barbarity that we have descended to as a nation.

Yet it gets even worse. Just a few weeks ago, the Minister of Internal Affairs told a bewildered nation that the Sultan of Sokoto (the leader if rhe Muslim community in Nigeria) "directed" him to declare a particular day of the week a public holiday. Without any hesitation he complied with despatch and, with pride, he announced it to the public. Welcome to the Islamic Republic of Nigeria where the caliphate rules.

Is it any wonder that every single one of the numerous security and intelligence agencies in our country except for one is headed by a northerner?

Whether it be the army, the navy, the air force, the police, the Department of State Security (DSS), the EFCC, the National Securiry A'dvisor's Office or the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), they are all headed by individuals that are from the north.

The only exception to the rule is the Nigerian Iintelligence Agency (NIA), the agency which is responsible for external intelligence and international espionage and which is headed by a southerner.

Can such a state of affairs be justified under any circumstances? Are southerners and Chrustians not Nigerians as well? Are they not qualified to head more security agencies?

Does the concept of Federal Character have any meaning in President Buhari's Nigeria? For how much longer will our people tolerate such reckless impunity, racism and injustice from those who believe that they are the Boers and supremacists of what is fast turning into apartheid-Nigeria?

My father's generation fought the battle for independence from our erstwhile British colonial masters.

It was indeed my father, Chief Remilekun Fani-Kayode, that succesfully moved the motion for Nigeria's indepence in Parliament in 1958.

The battle that must be fought today by my genertion is the battle for independence from the sons of Futa Jalon: our internal colonial masters who are relentless in their quest to subjugate and enslave others and who believe that they were born to rule.

This quest for expansion and domination and this insatiable desire to islamise our nation is best reflected by the words and actions of the three Mahdis of the north.

The first was Usman Dan Fodio, the second was his great grandson Sir Ahmadu Bello and the third is Muhammadu Buhari. The hegemonists must be stopped. It is our duty to either restructure or break Nigeria and to ensure that Buhari is the last of the northern Mahdis through a peaceful and democratic process.

Consequently the prayer is no longer "God bless Nigeria" but rather "God break Nigeria". It is no longer "God defend Nigeria" but rather "God restructure Nigeria". It is no longer "God deliver Nigeria" but rather "God deliver us from Nigeria".

It is no longer "God preserve Nigeria" but rather "God redefine Nigeria". It is no longer "God remember Nigeria" but rather "God dismember Nigeria".

We must break our chains of oppression because no one else will break them for us. We must reject slavery. We must rise up and resist our oppressors.

We must break the yoke of servitude and set ourselves free. For this great cause no price is too high to pay. If it means laying down our lives or suffering the bitter pain of persecution then so be it.

No price is too high to pay and no mounatain is too high to climb for attainment of freedom and the restoration of our self respect and collective dignity. No matter what it takes we shall carve out and build our own nation and we shall be free.

The heavy yoke of the last of the Amalekite kings must be broken. The rulership of the third and last Mahdi must be brought to an end in a free and fair election. That is the challenge that we face today.

That is the great work that the Lord would have us complete. That is our duty and our calling: to bring the unbelieving pagans to heel and to pull down the evil structures of caliphate power.

Those that joined forces with the internal colonial masters and helped to enslave their own people shall pay a heavy price for their treachery, collaboration and betrayal.

Our new nation has no room for such people. They will be herded into labour camps and ultimately deported. They are a shameful eyesore: animals with no sense of dignity and pride. They are not fit to live amongst us.

Yet blessed are the courageous and faithful who speak nothing but truth, who despise the oppressor and who champion the cause of the oppressed. They shall flourish like the palm tree in season and their seed shall excel.

Blessed are those that are persecuted for their faith and that are regarded as the "hewers of the wood and the drawers of the water": so-called ethnic inferiors in their own nation.

They shall inherit the land and, in the fullness of time, they shall be liberated from their tormentors and they shall rule over their adversaries.

That is the promise of the Alpha and the Omega and the Ancient of Days. That is a sure word from He that is known as the Lord God of Hosts and the Man of War. That is the counsel of the God of All Flesh: the Adonai, the Elohim and Jehova El Shaddai. None can resist Him.

EducationLady Blast Lagos School 4 Collecting 30k 4rm Students B4 Giving WAEC Certificate by stephenduru(op): 12:52pm On Jul 24, 2016
A Lagos girl has taken to social media to call out Pauliven College,Lagos for allegedly charging students N30,000 before they can collect their WAEC certificates.Below is what she wrote....

'Please my people help share and repost this as it will benefit each and every one of us in one way or the other... Up here I got my SSCE Certificate, most of us who are seeking admission into higher institutions are been requested to present this certificates for verification of result.. I registered and sat for this exam last year and went to pick it up yesterday been 22 /7 /2016.  Could you people imagine that this particular school PAULIVEN COLLEGE, LOCATED AT 8,EZIAMA STREET, TEDI TOWN OPP. OJO BARRACKS, LAGOS. is charging 30,000 from each person before they would release your Cert for you, and after much digging I found out they have been collecting this whole amount for years til date and even as of that yesterday the principal was boldly saying that soon it will be 40,000.. This is the first school I have heard that is taking such big amount, the highest amount other schools will take from you is just 5k, some schools won't even take anything accept 500 or 1k for printing of the result.. Now my question is why do someone have to pay this much for an exam you registered and sat for? Paying 30k is just as if am buying this certificate whereas that's not the case.. Am not saying this just because of me, it was easy for me because am working and I can afford it but how about some parents who can't? Cos my own parents would never give out such money instead they would ask you to go to another school and re write the exam.. They asked me to pay 28k and extra 500 for the printing after I told them they could be sued because of this.. So please let's share this message until it gets to the WAEC Board, the ministry of education or whoever that would help call this school to order, they need to be cautioned.. They are stealing people's hard earned money and it's not fair. I still have younger ones who has to pass through this stage and I know some of us do as well, if this issue is not tackled urgently then am sure other schools will be joining them soon in committing this evil crime.. This is extortion.'

Yesterday, our quest for football development in our nation received knock on its head as many fans of Anambra state based team Ifeanyi Ubah FC are currently in hospitals while the team cool and fans were trapped in Owerri due to attack from Owerri fans .

It is also of note that club buses were not spared in what seems to be an organized attack by fans of  relegation threaten Heartland FC of Owerri.

You may recall that Heartland FC during their away match at Nnewi that ended 1-0 advantage to Anambra Warriors ,saw their goalkeeper Ebele Obi beaten up .

Meanwhile , another eye witness reported yesterday's attack this way :

"Live from Owerri

We are trapped in Owerri, destruction of Fc Ifeanyi Ubah team buses by the home fans, our supporters are been beaten black and blue as everybody scamper for safety. At the moment myself and some fans of our club are conveyed out of the stadium by the Military.

Is this the way forward for Nigerian football? I couldn't get pics for the fear of my life. More details later"

One therefore , call on all the  security institutions and personalities to further their protection cover for the situation not go beyond what it is now .

HealthDrama As Housemaid Suddenly Runs Mad In Lagos 4rm 'Unexplainable Cause'(pics) by stephenduru(op): 10:50am On Jul 21, 2016
According to the social media user who shared the photos, the 15-yr old pictured above went after asustaining injuries allegedly inflicted on him by his madam.Below is how a social media user narrated the story....

''A 15 year old primary six pupil by name Uchenna Iyike who hails from Iga in Okpuje community, Nsukka Local government area of Enugu state suddenly went mad in the house where he was living as a house help to one Mrs Nneka Ikeme at No 48b Falokun street Abule Egba in Lagos state.

According to Joy Iyike, Uchenna's elder sister, her brother was taken to Lagos by Nneka's husband Mr Chigozie Ikeme  to assist his wife in the business of selling provisions around March last year with nothing wrong with his health wise and they were living at Abule Egba until last week when she got a phone call from Nneka that his brother was having health issues.

Joy stated that she is working at a hotel in Ogidi where Mr Chigozie Ikeme serves as the manager and some how along the line Mr Okeke requested that he wants a house help who could assist his wife in business at her provision store in Lagos, thus she brought Uchenna and Ikeme took him to Lagos and enrolled him at Army Children School Abule Egba as he began to serve his wife as house help.

Joy said Uchenna lived until last week when she got a telephone call from Nneka telling her that his brother is having problem and has been revered to a near by hospital. She said that when she got to Lagos, she met his brother at a hospital called Mercy Maternity hospital with injury all over her body adding that the hospital workers told her that she was violent and that they have tested him of malaria and typhoid fever and gave him treatment but to avail.

Joy said that she had to bring him back to Ogidi after which she sent her to psychiatric hospital nawfia for further examination but after running some tests, he was given some drugs and discharged from the psychiatric hospital but he is still violent.

Asked if the boy has had mental problem ever in his life or whether he is used to strange characters that suggested that he has problem upstairs, joys said no, adding that Uchenna was once remarked by a pastor in their village as a very brilliant boy who would be great in life if nurtured well enough.

Meanwhile, an international human right activist in Ogidi who gave his name as Advocate Eric Okafor has called for police investigation of the matter saying that Uchenna may have sustained such myriad of injuries as a result of severe torture by her guardian, adding that such server torture could lead to mental disorder.

Okafor who works with Right to Life Enhancement Initiative in Geneva, Switzerland while insisting that police has to be invited to investigate the matter alleged that the boy could not have injured himself in such a wild manner without somebody raising alarm to attract external hands from the neighbourhood who could handle him no matter the level of violence he had to be.

"The boy could not have afflicted himself with such injuries all over his body, from head to toe including his back, everywhere is full of bloody marks, common sense tells us that something is wrong somewhere" Okafor added

When contacted, Mr Ikeme said that Uchenna and his wife lived peacefully and nothing could have made the wife to attack the boy and injure him, adding that the people in the neighbourhood  at Falokun street Abule Egba can bear witness that nobody touched Uchenna talk less of torturing him.

Speaking on telephone, the wife said that she treats Uchenna as her own son just like he treats her own children. Narrating how the ugly scene that led to injuries on Uchenna's body play out, she said that the boy suddenly stooped listening to him and started fighting himself and everything around him in the mid night adding that before she could know what was going on the boy had sustained injuries all over his body.

She said,"Uchenna was sleeping in the same bed with Chinedu, my son that night, some how, i noticed that he was resting one of his legs on chinedu and I tired to draw his attention and consequently he changed direction and started talking to himself, suddenly he became violent and started fighting himself inside the room, I had to shout to draw the attention of my neighbours and we took him to the hospital and while he was receiving treatment, I called my husband and his sister who came down and took him to Ogidi for further treatment"
