Over the weekend, Mr Nnaji took to Instagram to publish a message Abdullahi sent to him - accusing him of using him as a publicity stunt and reneging on his promises after the media hype had died down.
However, Nnaji explained that Abdul failed to grasp any of the training that was given to him and wasn't willing to learn. He added that he feels completely broken that the young man has chosen to go back to the streets and carry on cleaning windscreens. Below is what Uche Nnaji posted.....
"Sometime last month I saw an online image of a well-dressed young man cleaning windshields in traffic. I was touched by this, and then I felt the urge to ASSIST, with the HOPE that I can positively IMPACT a young man's life in my own little way
I put out words on all platform in search of his location, luckily He was found. We met and discossed on way forward. During our discussion I observed his SKILL was limited to SqueeGee. This gave me great concern, as it may not offer him anything above the JOB of an Office Assistant, then I felt it won't be the best for him. We (The photographer Daniel Sync and myself) talked with him and also decided he must go get his transcript from UniIlorin so we can eventually get him into the Open University in Lagos to enable him complete his education while Getting TRAINED with me. We were all excited as he walked into my office just last Monday (5days ago) with the ADMISSION forms from the OPEN UNIVERSITY.
"That same Monday the official TRAINING began with him in my Lekki office. The week ahead I had started by giving his Wardrobe Sartorial Healing for a Change and I made sure NO PICTURES were taken while giving him these items of clothing ( the Red polo he was wearing in the video I posted 3 days ago of him working with me at Kelechi Amadi Obi studio last Friday and the white shirt he chose to wear back to the traffic yesterday all came from my PERSONAL collection) As I felt that wasn't necessary since my concern was to start a paradigm shift for this young man who needs to see the better side of life. But I guess, people always want what they want.
"During our class session on same day (Monday) it dawned on me that Abdulai was unable to GRASP what He was being taught. But I still didn't give up on him, hoping that time will make things right for necessary adjustment. The aim was to TEACH him how to FISH by EMPOWERING him with necessary skill from some industry fashion professionals which certainly comes with more benefits after wards. After his class on Monday where we reached an agreement that he would LEARN various skills including tailoring, Abdulai went off the radar only to be sighted yesterday cleaning
"The news came to me yesterday, but I decided to reach him first and hear him out before writing this piece, but all effort to achieve was fruitless as he has refused picking everyone's calls . The bubble buster, was when same guy went ahead to send the message on my DP in the form of as an SMS to my personal assistant complaining that we did not TRANSFORM his life OVERNIGHT like he expected. Proceeding with some tribal/sentimental approach.. Can somebody be kind enough to remind this guy that my name is Uche Nnaji, NOT Uche Olatoyan.
"Dude, I AM NOT YOUR FATHER, I owe you NOTHING!!! This sense of ENTITLEMENT is shocking Whollup! Does this guy think I TRANSFORM destinies OVER NIGHT for living? That is solely as exclusive preserve of God the Miracle worker. Honesty, we had better plans for you Abdulai but you were more concerned about the daily stipends the STREET offered. It's fine, after all people throw away Diamonds chasing stones; you will not be the first. Just wish I listened when the photographer shared concerns. about your unstable character (like when You agreed and allowed them to use the #150k given by a Good Samaritan to enable you secure an Apartment in Abeokuta, and after rent was paid you came up days later to say that you no longer want to stay in Abeokuta ). I still try to wrap my mind around this because who gets celebrated and featured on CNN/YahooNews/EbonyLife and yet refuse to see the bigger picture?
But as much as I am BROKEN with your decision to go back to the streets , I would rather live with the pain of knowing I tried to HELP , than the REGRETS of not even making an effort. As the saying goes "You can take a Horse to the river, but can't force it to DRINK ". It's obvious his PASSION for CLEANING WindShields in Traffic is his HOME. And like they say, 'Home is where the Heart is'.There are many mysteries of LIFE, and nobody knows what tomorrow will bring. But at this point all I can do is sit-back, pray and wish him WELL. "

According to a Facebook user IG Wala who shared the photos/story,Kwankwaso and Ganduje's political tussle led to the death of a Kano state student studying in India.He wrote......


'I wish to call on the attention of Kano State Civil Society Forums and other related bodies to kindly investigate the allegation surrounding the death of Tijjani Malam Tijjani who was laid to rest on the 18th June, 2016 as a result of non payment of his scholarship and hospital bill being an international student under the previous Administration of Kwankwaso. It is highly speculated that the Ganduje Administration has abandoned most of the international students to their fate. This was as a result of the political tussle between him and Kwankwaso.
It was reported that, "this innocent promising young man from kano state who was sponsored by the former kano state government but the present government refuse to pay their tuition fee and all other allowances. This guys are in various countries overseas suffering. This boy in particular had accident in India and the school authority give him all the necessary support and sent for the state government to carry on from were they stop .The state government decline to do so based on political tussle which lead to the death of the guy in question. The guy was from a very poor home and his parents cant fit the bills. Please we need social media outcry to save the other students outside the country".
We all have the responsibility to call our politicians and leaders to order. Let this matter be investigated and appropriate actions be taken to forestall similar occurrence.
IF TRULY GOVERNOR GANDUJE DECLINED TO HONOUR SUCH RESPONSIBILITIES, HE DESERVE NO RESPECT FROM EVERY SANE CITIZEN PARTICULARLY, THE STUDENTS OF KANO STATE THAT ARE HOME AND ABROAD.

Our very own veteran thespian, Olu Jacobs stars in this 1981 United Artists movie,'Dogs of War'.

The film features mercenary soldiers Jamie (Christopher Walken) and Drew (Tom Berenger) who are hired by a large corporation to liberate Zangaro, a small African nation, from an iron-fisted despot.

Imo state pensioners are presently carrying out a protest action at Douglas-Okigwe road, which leads to the government house.

The aged protesters have blocked the strategic road and prevented workers from going to work and motorists from leaving an already growing traffic situation.

Lecturers in the state have been on strike for some months and state governor, Rochas Okorocha sometime last month, threatened to privatise the schools if the lecturers do not call off the strike.

Imo state has one of the highest debt profiles among Nigerian states and the governor’s aide was recently arrested on accusations of embezzling the bailout given to states by the Federal Government.

The protesters say they are being owed 14 – 17 months in pension arrears by the Imo state government.

Former Barcelona and Chelsea striker Samuel Eto'o got married on Tuesday to long-term girlfriend Georgette Tra Lou in a stunning ceremony.

The ex-Cameroon international's wedding took place in Stezzano, Italy, as hundreds flocked to see Eto'o and his new wife outside the church.

The 35-year-old, who spent two seasons in Serie A with Inter Milan before another spell with Sampdoria, was dressed in a sharp grey suit and arrived in a vintage car.

Georgette Tra Lou, mother to Eto'o's two children, was pictured being helped out a classic car before making her way past the waiting public.

Eto'o's former Barcelona team-mate and captain Carles Puyol was also in attendance for the forward's special day. 

According to reports, Eto'o and his new wife have actually been married since 2007 but were yet to hold a white wedding.

Eto'o, who currently plays for Antalyaspor in Turkey, also spent half a season with Everton during the 2014-15 campaign.

Actress, Dayo Amusa is not going easy on a social media troll, who she said has not only been calling names but running her down. After months of enduring her molestation, the movie producer unraveled her true identity as a deportee from Canada. According to Miss Amusa, Kemi committed a crime in Canada and was deported. However, while the war of words continued, she deactivated her Instagram account.

Ousted Senator Ali Modu Sheriff has finally gained entrance into the headquarters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Abuja to take over as the party Chairman.

For now, Mr Sheriff has ‘overthrown’ Ahmed Makarfi who was elected has the Caretaker Chairman.



The Police had earlier prevented Mr. Sheriff from entering into the party’s National Secretariat at Wadata Plaza at Wuse.

He however left and reportedly went to see the Inspector General of Police, Solomon Arase.

He later returned to the secretariat and is currently in the office of the national chairman.

He claimed he remains the party’s national chairman and had come to resume office in line with a ruling by a Federal High Court in Lagos.

He described the party national caretaker committee led by Makarfi as “illegal.’’

The 2016 Africa Movie Academy Awards ceremony took place on Saturday 11 June 2016 at the Obi Wali International Conference Center in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.



The ceremony recognizes and honors excellence among directors, actors, and writers in the film industry.

The awards night was hosted by Chris Attoh, Mike Ezuruonye and Kgopedi Lilokoe.

The Cursed Ones led with 13 nominations. South African filmsTell Me Sweet Something and Ayanda were tied with 9 nods each.

Stomach Infrastructure: Fayose won’t stop ameliorating the suffering of Ekiti people

The Ayodele Fayose Stomach Infrastructure train Thursday made it to Erio Ekiti, after it had visited Ado Ekiti, Ikere Ekiti, Afao-Ekiti, Are and Iworoko Ekiti.

Deputy Speaker of Ekiti State House of Assembly, Hon Adewumi; member Ekiti State House of Assembly, Dayo Maxima and the Honorable Chairman of Ekiti west Local Government Council Hon Kola Omotunde Solomon were on ground to assist the Personal Assistant to Ekiti State Governor on Stomach Infrastructure and General Administration, Sunshine Anifowose in distributing the goodies brought by the team.

Rice, Spaghetti, cooking oil, cash etc were distributed, even to the delight of the beneficiaries.

The train on its return stopped at Aromoko Ekiti, and put smiles on the faces of the citizens

The economic hardship occasioned by Buahri’s maladministration has made necessary to intensify efforts in the directorate’s strides of bringing succor to the downtrodden.

The Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami is now coordinating a plot to charge Gov Fayose's Chief of Staff, Barrister Dipo Anisulowo; Spokesperson, Lere Olayinka; House of Assembly members; Samuel Omotoso, Segun Adewumi and Gboyega Aribisogan to court for TREASON.

The plot is to first arrest the five men and keep them in detention for not less than one month after which they will be charged to court and denied bail so as to keep them out of circulation.

This is another of the FG plot to destabilise the govt of Ekiti State and silence Gov Fayose so that the opposition will no longer have any voice in Nigeria.

Their offence is that they submitted a letter on behalf of the governor at the Chinese Embassy, Abuja seeking the stoppage of the $2 billion loan sought by the FG.

Has AGF Malami forgotten that while in opposition, APC petitioned the US Govt and other world powers not to sell arms to the PDP govt of Jonathan to fight Boko Haram, alleging human rights abuses?

All these efforts to silence Fayose won't work because before President Buhari, there was opposition in Nigeria, now that Buhari is the President, there must be opposition and after Buhari's tenure, there will be opposition.

Gov Fayose cannot be silenced. He will continue to talk for the betterment of Nigeria and its people.

The innovative Makoko floating school at Onike, Iwaya in Lagos Mainland Local Government Area of Lagos State on Tuesday collapsed after a heavy rain.

The collapse,came after hours of torrential rains that hit various parts of Lagos, including Makoko, a lagoon community, whose inhabitants live on water in floating shanties.

Details of how the three-storey building, which was meant to serve the residents, whose only source of education is a small nursery and primary school, the Whayinna Nursery and Primary school, collapsed were still sketchy as of the time of writing this report but eyewitnesses say there were casualties involved.
