That easy? I want them competing to cook for me and competing for time in bed o!
I want them arguing over who gets to give me money and all the works. . . such wonderful dream.

Shortage of which yeye dogs. . . Y'all should not rile me up 2 days to the new year abeg.
Damn! Is it that bad??

ibkaye:
Covering your head is not compulsory smiley
I thought that was when you were indoors.

I think my stupid answer to that question is that the vagina is elastic.
shocked What in the world??

oyb:
that is my point - if you know you cannot treat them equally, then don't engage in polygamy.
Some people like the Governor are just too damn greedy.

But why?? huh??

Even here in the states. A man like Hugh Hefner who has multiple girlfriends and I know for sure he is not going to marry not one of them. But no one really gives a damn. It is like,

"Oh he has three girlfriends and possibly adding twins to the picture? Oh well. So what's the weather going to be like?"

Like no one gives a damn. But once a woman just has one previous sexual experience,

"Oh Gawd, Oh lawd. . . . she must be condemn. Oya now go and get me Holy Water. She needs Redemption."
People be calling Demi Moore a cradle snatcher lol

onyinye2:
Even though we laughing and stuff, there is still one thing I want to know.

Why is it that the man can marry multiple wives and nobody is calling him a LovePeddler, or a slut. Or anything proclaimed to women who have sex with just one guy??

And like if a woman were to have multiple husbands, most will run her ass out of town. Saying she is a hoe and such.

Just doesn't make sense to me. undecided
Exactly what I said a page or two back!!
oyb:
i assume you are aware of the 'treat them equally' clause?
In reality it's hard to treat two different people equally. Favoritism will still come into play.

But the man is sick oo.

I bet he has been a friend of the family a while.

Probably even knew the girl when she was ten eleven years old.

I am sure he would arrive at the Yaradua household and the girl would
innocently hug him like an Uncle
.

The rabid bastards prick would be in hyper drive.

Then he will say ''Oya, small Hajiya, let me hide you in my Agbada, y'owa, I have
brown chocolate stick for you in there kawai''.
I know!! That is just wrong.
FamilyRe: Bauchi Governor Marries A 4th Wife by StephenP(m): 11:48pm On Dec 30, 2008
I'm just saying because I know if a Nigerian women thought about marrying a second husband, she will be called a LovePeddler.

LadyT:
They do have a sex timetable.

And she being the new wife will get more sessions so she can bred.

The other wives wont be too happy
Urrggghhh like they are animals lol

Yes and no, but this is independent of gay rights, my brother.  I am just argumentative by nature. I can even argue in support of gay rights just for the heck of it.
How so? They are two consenting adults right?

afterall if the goat feels good afterwards and no one is harmed, what's the problem?
LMAO!!!

Without thumping the bible where is your proof that polygamy between consenting adults is a wrong  huh
Don't take this the wrong way but do you also advocate for gay rights?
FamilyRe: Bauchi Governor Marries A 4th Wife by StephenP(m): 11:22pm On Dec 30, 2008
LadyT:
Stephen leave her!

They are full of problems.

The wifes fighting for the husbands attention.

The husband liking some kids more than the others.

The fights over the sex night and whose turn it is!

*rolls eyes*
Then once he's dead, they fight again for who he loved more and who owns what. For example, Fela (R.I.P) and his wives.

thats my problem with these oyibo-turned nigerian ladies. everything nigerian is bad. monogamous marriages are failing day by day in the so called develoved countries and even in Nigeria, the marriage institution is even being threaten to extinction. if polygamy works for them, find u should live them alone.

but sure the girl fine sha. yuguda must be a randy old man
Are you trying to say that polygamous marriages are failure proof?
FamilyRe: Bauchi Governor Marries A 4th Wife by StephenP(m): 11:11pm On Dec 30, 2008
OutlukBabe:
My perspective of marriage is just relative, I was responding to osisi. she is tryin to demean one of our culture. she should take a look at the family models in her dream country and see how unrealistic it is. How does monogomy makes peace in UK families?
Well this much i know, monogamous couples tend to have less fights than polygamous couples. They are also at a lower risk of having any STDs. There is no disagreement as to who is the First Lady and you are not in constant fear of the older wife poisoning your son because she has none of her own.
FamilyRe: Bauchi Governor Marries A 4th Wife by StephenP(m): 10:36pm On Dec 30, 2008
OutlukBabe:
ok, what is marriage all about apart from procreation and some sense of security. is it not about toto business. What about all these people in our beloved foreing countries that even indulge in orgies. They call it sexuall freedom. And so what polygammy? is it not sexual freedom in a responsible way.

I bet if I was in d north I will arrange a wife for my husband, so that anytime we have the urge of doing it 3 ways no need for looking outside
Then you will turn back and say your man is cheating. By the way, you need to fix your perspective on marriage, any random couple can procreate.

sure. they were junior wives. Its commonplace in the north.
Dang that sucks. So no luck for the average Northerner cuz the rich men have literarily bought them. I learned something today.

At the end of the day u'd see them in the GRA at the homes of their rich alhaji husbands.
Were their husbands previously married?

I know!! She obviously doesn't have any brains so she can't offer any advice as to how the State should be run.

davidylan:
seems like a culture thing. I'm sure she wasnt forced into it. When i lived in the north for a yr plenty of those hajiyas in my first yr class were engaged to alhajis who came to pick them in cars i had only seen on TV.
Interesting.

can you imagine
not knowing that "uncle" wanted her on his bed
Well now she knows why she had more Christmas presents from him than her siblings.

*osisi*:
not when it's expected of you for political reasons
how many 20 year old girls can stand up to their mom and dad?
For an arranged marriage, I think many would actually speak out and/or elope. Sure she might end up poorer but she'll be happier. I just want to sit her down and talk some sense to her.

So true but I'm trying not to get them involved because at the end of the day, it is her marrying him not her parents. Plus, I suppose she has been educated so she should know a lot better.

RomanceRe: Guys Are Always Too Quick To Assume That We Ladies Are Crazy! by StephenP(m): 3:16am On Dec 27, 2008
First off, I think everyone hints that their exes are crazy regardless of sex. That aside, I totally understand where you are coming from but I think, like you said, it's the confrontation. Many would rather not talk about and just let it slide and I have to admit, though it could deemed as the coward's way out, it is pretty effective. You cannot judge how she would handle the truth yet you don't want to lie to her face so what's left to do?

Though my nature is seductive,

Continuously my heart has warned me to stop,
Fearing that I have lose myself in another
But for reasons beyond my abilities to explain
I remain . . . unfaithful.
Nairaland GeneralBest Of 2008: Nairaland Threads by StephenP(op): 2:32am On Dec 27, 2008
OoWeee!! The year is almost over and so much has happened this year on Nairaland. This year, we have seen the funny and the dead serious threads, the intelligent and the downright retarded threads, some posters banned for the first time and some lose count, some leave and some just registering . . . I could go on and on but you get the point. This thread is dedicated to those threads (and their posters) that made us have a reason to come back to NL.

The list is in no particular order.

1] T-Girl's "Up Close And Personal (Nairaland Celebrities)"
I have to admit at first, I was skeptical about this thread because it took away the anonymity of the NL users she considered celebs. I also thought that no one would respond to the interviews but I was wrong. This thread (now locked) in less than 2 months had 1952 replies and 16000+ views. It was successfully able to show a side many of those NL users interviewed that others had not seen before.

2] Monicaa's "God Please Come Down And Show Yourself So People Stop Doubting"
This is another thread that has garnered so many views and responses in a short amount of time which is not surprising because of its controversy. It has been able to pull the strings of many Nairalanders, religious or not, and it deserves its place on this list.

3] Kojeiwa's "Nigerian Girls Have No Booty"
This  thread was created early 2008 and it has shown how freaky Nairalanders can be if given the opportunity. It also makes the list because the poster uploaded a woman's butt with its dimension and a little less that 16000 views.

4] Nigerian Men/Women Can't . . .
There have been many battles of the sexes this year and these threads found mostly in the Romance Section have not failed to portray that. It's either men/women can't french kiss, men stare too much, women cheat more than men or why women dance with their mouths open and so on. One of the most popular of these threads is quickygirl's Nigerian Guys Cannot French Kiss!.

5] African-African American War
Culture is overflowing with threads bashing both Africans or African Americans. The poster behind many of these threads is Mandingo but the thread with the most hits is idocare's "How Do Africans Really Feel About African Americans?" Hopefully 2009 will see some unity between Africans and African Americans because at the end of the day, we are Black.

6] DeepZone and all her threads
Yes she might be sexist, tribalist, and whatever but you just have to love her and her threads, not matter how controversial they may seem.

7] A-40's Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only
Sport is one of the boards with the highest traffic so I am not surprised that this thread effortlessly had 2000+ replies and close to 12000 views in less than 2 months. Plus it's the Gunners we are talking about; they rep hard. Another one that came close to this was Ndumart's ManU thread here.

8] Nalijah07's Pictures Of Nigeria - Show Us Nigeria Through Your Pictures
This thread took off on a slow start but was able to earn an average 700+ replies but a whooping 17000+ views. As the name suggests, Nairalanders we were able to upload and view pictures of anything Nigerian such as foods, people, traffic, clothing. . . yeah anything Nigerian.

9] Tumfulu
Never before has a poster been so annoying and so disgusting with his sexuality as Tumfulu was, yet that was what made many like him and his fabricated tales. Trivia: All of his topics are featured in Sexuality board and Recycle Bin. Check out one of his least offensive threads here. He will be greatly missed.

10] Stephenp's " Role Play"
Hopefully, this isn't seen as biased but seeing as the Literature section has little or no traffic, the ability for a thread there to have 5000+ hits within the space of two months and a half deserves to be commended. This thread was able to bring out the creative side of Nairalanders from many of the other sections.

I know 2009 will be as fun, creative and educative as this year was, maybe even better.

Happy New Year in Advance,

Stephen.

Can someone tell me what is disgustin about looking at your partners Puzzy or manliness?

I would have thought that you did that before you stuck it and do it often just to make sure nothing changes.

but I guess that is just me that the sight of my mans manliness and balls does not make me want to puke.
It's not about looking at it. It's about smelling it to see if it smells different or whatever. Way too creepy.
