PoliticsRe: Fashola's Flawed Idea Of Governance. by stevecantrell: 8:40pm On Mar 13, 2016
seunmsg:
There is nothing wrong with the federal ministers for now. They've barely spent 4 months in office and you want us to believe they are bad. What miracle do you want a minister to perform in 4 months?

The first full budget that will be implemented by the ministers is still before the national assembly and you guys are already wailing. Do you want Fashola for example to build power infrastructure for you with his own money under 4 months? Ministers are not miracle workers.
Fashola this, Fashola that...wake up and see the bigger picture ! Any concerned Nigerian can see a clear failure to launch in this present administration.
Nothing concrete is happening and we can't really see when it will start happening. Do I need to be a wailer for that ?

Fashola isn't the only minister in Nigeria. This is Nigeria, nobody is bigger than their country. So let me speak for myself when I say PMB can be forgiven if he decides to reshuffle his cabinet tomorrow and leave out most of the old stock.

As for your Fashola, you can even clamour for 2 more portfolios making it 5 if you like. That's none of my business.
The Private power can be made to seek finance elsewhere, rather than leaning on an already economically beleaguered populace. I think that's the main thrust of this thread.

What happened to Nigeria's aviation policy reforms ?
This guy still has time for Rivers politics.

PMB pls sack your ministers now.

I can see you ipob wailers are tired of criticising Kemi Adeosun, Fashola is your new customer. The way you guys descended on this thread says it all. It is straight from your whatsapp group to NL. Wail on guys, it's your thread. When you get tired of Fashola, you can move to the next customer.
Remember, I said 95% of his min. are wrong for the job. I don't believe the 95% are from one particular region alone.

I aint no IPOB. The truth is a lot was still working well for PMB from May till August last year. Then he appointed his cabinet and the story changed.

obviously yo didn't get the whole story.... The said lady was rejected at the hospital because of money, she died in front of the hospital..... The person you saw cutting her is not a medical personnel , but rather her cousine who used a razorblade to cut her open in the bid to save the children.... Where else can that happen if not with the cursed black animals....
Aaah ! That's terrible !

But the clip was only 47 seconds long. No way I could have got the whole gist from that.

Fashola has been demystified. His strategy is to collect more from the poor and nothing more.
I hope more of these over-hyped, insincere politicians will be demystified as time goes on. There are many more of them. Nigeria will be better off for it on the long run.

How can the strategy of this government be to collect more from already impoverished Nigerian?
It has never been PMB's strategy...95% of his ministers were wrongly selected. That is the problem.

PMB ministers will bring down his govt.

I mean have you listened to his information minister, lately ?

You know, I feel you ..the pregnant woman in the video seems to be waiting in a hospital for medical attention and she died waiting. If that's what you find upsetting, then I'm with you on that.

But rescuing two babies from an already dead woman...what else do you want ? 3 deaths instead of 1 ?
PoliticsRe: The Black Race Is Next To Devil by stevecantrell: 6:30pm On Mar 13, 2016
That is an emergency post mortem Caeserian section done to save the life of the babies.

Forget about the unfortunate surrounding conditions, that woman saved just saved 2 babies. How is she a devil ?

This is also done in the West, maybe not under those conditions.

Some kids are just not normal, but the parent that birth them are normal right?
Where did the kid get the abnormal behaviour from? The sky? The devil? Sugar? Lol... gringrin

You ain't serious...not one bit.

A kid is hyperactive, is not the same thing as a stubborn and unruly kid..y'all shouldn't treat the two scenarios as one.
The only way a 4yr old will get so disrespectful, stubborn, and immune to instructions, is if the parent has been soft on him/her... If it is the devil, then the parent should also be blamed for introducing the devil to the child cos I don't see where a 4yr old will have contact with the devil.

Err brother, I don't think you've ever had any experience with crack...your head doesn't seem like the kind that will be able to take it.

When I said I fear blacks I wasn't joking. I fear Nigerians. My attention was drawn to this issue by by a Facebook colleague of mine this morning, and I've joined my colleagues to report all those who supported this barbarity on the victim's page to Facebook management.

Nigerians are largely barbarians. You've got to be very wary when dealing with most of them.

The hypocrisy and primitivity is depressing. This is a nation where our leaders get married to minors, steal billions of dollars and walk free....yet its youths will mob a fellow citizen allegedly caught in homosexuality. How crude. How barbaric and backward.

You're a Christian. You belong to a church and have been repeatedly warned against killing your fellow humans. But you didn't hear. Homosexuality and murder. Which is worse? God will punish you in greater and more demeaning manner.

Dear Olumide, your fate was sealed since the day you had the misfortune of being born a Nigerian and deciding to live in it.

Every sane Nigerian must condemn this brazen act of savagery. This is insane.

No sane person should bring up their kids in this unfortunate country. This is a grossly underdeveloped, God- forsaken hell hole.

bloodyBLOGGER:
REVISITING SOME OF THE LATEEF JAKANDE'S GOVERNMENT ACHIEVEMENTS FROM OCTOBER 1979 TO DECEMBER 1983 (FOUR YEARS AND 3 MONTHS) IN LAGOS STATE

* His government built the current Lagos State Secretariat which houses all the state ministries as well as the popular round house hitherto occupied by all subsequent governors of the state.

* His government built the Lagos State Television

* His government built the Lagos Radio

* His government built Lagos State University

* His government established General Hospital in zones all over the state with assurance of free health care.

* His government built low cost houses in Ijaiye, Dolphin, Oke-Afa, Ije, Abesan, Iponri, Ipaja, Abule Nla, Epe, Amuwo-Odofin, Anikantamo, Surulere, Iba, Ikorodu, Badagry, Isheri/Olowu, Orisigun etc.

* His government established the Water Management Board and Waste Disposal Board on the 18th of August, 1980.

* His government constructed the Adiyan Water Works to increase water supply in the state to 18.16 million litres per day.

*His government established LASACO Insurance.

*His government expanded existing market and built new ones.

*His government established Traditional Medicine Board.

WHO SAYS 4 YEARS IN OFFICE IS NOT ENOUGH FOR MEANINGFUL ACHIEVEMENTS?

IT'S A FACT THAT 90% OF GOVERNORS IN NIGERIA SINCE 1999 WITH REVENUES AT THEIR DISPOSAL CANNOT BOAST OF A QUARTER OF THESE ACHIEVEMENTS EVEN WITHIN THEIR EIGHT YEARS IN OFFICE.
Thanks.

I keep using this man as an example of when Governors were governors.

Today being Lagos governor means how much you can extract from the citizens in the guise of multiple IGR, how many illegal side deals you can make with your elite buddies and corporations, creation of propaganda machine, burning markets, land grabbing, establishment of state police, mobile court...that's what the Lagos governor is all about these days.

Very real ish....I'm dealing with a kid like that now.. A 24 year old Man who started out just like this. Now a convicted rapist and attempted murderer.
And yes he's from an excellent background before you ask.

Some kids are just not normal. Child psychologists can do nothing for these kids.

By the time they're juvenile they've committed one felony or another. That you're not spiritual doesn't make it unreal to many parents who have strange kids who become a society problem later.

You want to laugh after you have one of your own like that but some parents aren't smiling.

Anyway I don't blame you, I used to get as 'happy' as you when I had my own brief experience with Crack .

You do have a problem on your hands.

Some children are just born that way, it may not be thru any fault of your own or there may be something you did or took during antenatal and perinatal periods. But the older he gets the more a problem he will be. This isn't Autism or hyperactivity. It just an anti social behaviour that could become worse with time.

Your only options now;

Seek professional help, (it might not help)

Take him to cleric (prayers etc) there are churches that do special services for children below 12.

Bundle him to an academy or seminary before his 7 years.

It looks like the present government is confused. We are moving 1 step forward and 2 step backwards.
All the ministers are redundant

The problem isn't just all about confusion.

It seems priorities have been misplaced and vital energies needed to effect the much needed change are being spent on some other agenda.

On the ministers, PMB has 3 problems.

Nepotism a lot of his choices were influenced by factors other than pure merit

Party imposition: Nominees were imposed on PMB by party chieftains.

Sentiment: Some appointments were based on pure sentiment. Nothing else.

With the exception of Ibe Kachickwu, I think all other Ministers are either lost at the very least or Sabotaging this administration at the worst.
Their appointment must be reviewed.
