Printme1:Bullshitticus!! Don't look at it from religious views. Who you are matters!!! You should be stronger than for music to determine your direction in life! I'm an adult, a woman with great experience. I listen to any song that appeals to my mind; it doesn't change a thing. It is only a so-called born again and genz Christians that will say song influences people,, Yes, it influences those with feeble mind,, No, it doesn't influence people who have focus; who have worked and are still working so hard to give their life meaning. The boobs and so many immoralities in town is enough to shift you off track even when you listen to gospel songs.. But remember, even the gospel song singers and listeners are not really Holy!! Chai.. |

Chai.. Activated teens wouldn't know that they're been used as equipments for anarchy!! |
onuman:People like you are the masses that are very easy to catch like mumu. You don't know the extent that corruption has eaten deep in Nigeria. If the regional system of government will be closer to the people, are you now saying that the led will be sitting right there with them in their offices? We're talking based on our different line of experiences. I have had the opportunity to work closely with some people, hence I feel so sorry for people like who don't know anything. The point is: It would be a disastrous waste no matter the system of government we implement right now without reorientation and absolute repentance. Chai.. |
onuman:States usually have annual budget for the operation of their affairs,, They have their State IGR which is totally different from Federal IGR,, They receive security votes in trillions of Naira,, They receive allocations from the FG,, They also take loans,, What have they used it achieve? Rather, especially in the North, they use those monies to fund terrorism in other to receive more allocations for security and to give excuses on why they're backward in terms of growth and development!! Chai.. My argument is this; Whatever will make devolution of powers to work means that the governors and all other leadership position holders must be serious with their job and take the welfare of the people as paramount - more like near absolute repentance from corruption. Hence, there wouldn't even be need to decentralize power in first place if they can do as stated above. Because, the end will be like - making the governors richer and more powerful by "dissolving corruption at the middle to institutionalize it in States - with the governors holding powers to do and undo". That same corruption and backwardness will continue. Whatever will happen in devolution of powers can still happen as it is right now!! Chai.. |
Chai.. Whether good or bad,, Activated teens must throw bricks and stones! |
Chai.. Is there any assurance that the governors too are not monumental failures and thieves? None of those hooligans think about you. Except a state like Lagos and the FCT that we can categorically affirm their spirit for constant progressive initiatives and better outlook to success than others, simply because of their status to the country. Corruption is almost impossible to completely exterminate in the Nigerian political atmosphere, but it is possible to curtail it to the barest minimum. I shake my head in dismay when I pass through some States during road travel; "all you see are chaff houses, very poor environment and setting, wretched living situation, and emptimess that you'll be depressed to ask if this is the so-called Nigeria that they say is blessed with abundance crude oil and so many other natural resources!!?" The environments look like 400BCE, which is absolutely devoid of any contact with the reality of what a present day 2024 should be. Chai.. It will be extraordinarily suicidal to believe that devolution of power is what we need. I'm sure many will run to their respective religious abode to share Divine Testimonies when the Block of Corruption favours them. |
Chai.. Imagine a situation where someone is Stealing a Pot of Soup that is Still on Fire!!? So ku tu wo wo!! |
