Sir, presently i will go all the way for UBA grin
Pls bnsitl, in trying to place a buy or sell order on I trade, and on getting to fill your order type, you fill "market" instead of "limit", you will see that there is no price quoted. My question is , when your order gets filled, is it from the limit orders in the bid and ask section of the market window? Or if not, from where does it get filled and at what price? That is, what then determines the price at which it is filled? Thanks for your response.

My friend, stop spewing trash! What's so commendable about the fact that bihari has refused to use his brain or that Nigerians have chosen to be brainwashed of their common sense that instead of mounting pressure on the government to get rid of their sponsors who they already know, they choose to commend and encourage the govt. to keep going after them boko boys, wasting our limited resources amisdst our prevailing economic crisis. Common sense is indeed not common.
The consequences are not far fetched. Some of us are already paying with our dear lives. Until we insist that the sponsors be fished out and eliminated, this threat to our national security will only get worse cos these book guys are already everywhere other than the north! And for those who care to know and act promptly just watch your back cos in other states they now disguise as Fulani herdsmen!

The pharmacist can recommend alternate drugs and I can accept their advice without consulting my doctor (unless it's a drug for a critical illness).
Please don't get me wrong. I am NOT belittling pharmacists. Their work is equally important too. However, I don't not think that it is the role of a pharmacist to give medical advice. That is something a physician does. I understand the concepts of overlapping roles but in such a scenario, as this thread, I would still consider a physician over a pharmacist.
Again, I respect pharmacists ..... all degrees/ professions .... (well except for Mass Comm grin )
Suit yourself bruv. Different strokes for diff folks

I am sorry - the difference is distinct .... Pharmacists for drugs and Physicians for medicine.
Just because a pharmacist was taught Anatomy 101 does not make the pharmacist a physician. A medical student goes through close to 6 years of rigorous training to be granted that MBBS. Like wise a pharmacist goes through 5 years of their specific training.
And what in your myopic veiw do you think constitutes medical advice? Just because a medical student was taught pharmacology for 6 months does not make him a drug specialist unlike the pharmacist who undergoes rigorous training for 5 or 6 yrs. However, If a medical doctor is alowed to advice a patient on drugs, is that in your view still a medical advice? But that will not make a pharmacist to criticise him for offering such an advice even if the doctor is not aven a drug expert and same is applicable to a pharmacist. about 50% of hospital deaths in nigeria are drug related cases and who say drug related cases aren't medical cases?
My bruv, the standard of medical practice in Nigeria is still substandard. Until we acknowledge that the various health professions have areas of overlap and areas of expertise we shall never get it right!
Health › Re: Nigerian Pharmacist Reveals What Constant Sex Will Do To You by stokfrick: 4:06pm On Oct 19, 2015

Exactly - pharmacists work and deal with drugs while physicians treat human beings. I reiterate, I prefer my medical advice from a medical doctor. If I need a drug recommendation, I will go to a pharmacist.
Anyhow, suit yourself and let others be!

Dr Kevwe is probably a house officer. He can't be blamed too much. However, the consultant on duty should be questioned. I'm sorry for your loss, madam.
This mess hardly happens abroad cos over there, right from their undergraduate days in medical school, they are taught to appreciate the value of human life, there's absence of the brain drain they are put through over here in medical school, ( that is, being made to believe that they are above their fellow humans and as such are gods),and so even senior medical doctors are always on duty when they are supposed to be; there's nothing like undue immunity as patients know their rights and health professionals are made to face litigation where appropriate in other to check possible excesses. Until we begin to hold erring doctors responsible for their inadequacies and proper orientation and dedication to duty is enforced, undue casualties will never cease to exist!

Health › Re: My Experience After Taking Ciprotab 'ciprofloxacin' Antibiotics by stokfrick:
Pharm. Kenny
If you actually mean you took half a pack of ciprofloxacin tablets at once, then that's where your problem is coming from! However some people could react to vitadar( a sulfonamide: meaning a sulfur containing drug) as well as ciprofloxacin, ciprofloxacin side effects such as sweating and dehydration and saliva concentration are very rare and as such are classified to have an occurrence frequency of 0.01-0.1%. Therefore such rare adverse effects could most definitely have come from consumption of excessive dose of the cipro.
Your side effects show that d drug has already been absorbed into your blood stream. Ciprofloxacin is eliminated 50-70% unchanged in d urine through d kidneys from the blood stream. Since this is the case, your best bet In eliminating excess cipro from your system fast through your urine is by adequate hydration.( drink lots of water). You' ll be Fine in no time. Always feel free to consult your pharmacist when in doubt as to drugs! Get well soon!

I have said this b4 and I will Neva stop saying it! The government knows the sponsors of bokoharam. When we are ready 2 stop swallowing all the shit from d government of our day then we will forcefully demand for the head of the bokoharam sponsors. They all reside in this country, and the govt. Knows them! And ÑO instead the fuulish govt prefers to waste the money we don't have fighting a lost battle with them book boys instea d of hunting down their sponsors which they already know. And the only tin we know is to sit in our houses and say God please save us oh! Until it gets to us individually. All I see is a country with citizens who don't value their lives.

The pharmacists in Nigeria have reduced themselves to drug dispensers and are fighting for Superiority with doctors, when the wise ones have already wadded into the proper thing.
when will they grow from mere drug dispensers.
#OnlyinNigeria.
Some statements might reveal how ill-informed and biased we might be regarding certain issues. Sad to say, corruption which affects all aspects of our society has been the bane which has militated against proper reorientation of other nigerian health care professionals as well as the nigerian populace, as to the role of pharmacists in healthcare delivery as well as the scope of the profession as practiced in standard settings, such as in the USA.
Did I mention the fact that some health professionals see themselves as superior to others rather than as a team? Thereby fostering an air of rivalry among themselves instead of giving the patient the best possible cure.

I am sure you are impressed with your 14 months wait. Your numbers above suggests you had to buy at least 2 shares at N9.20 level for each one you had at N32 naira. And even that would only bring your average to N16.8. Not much of a case for long termers tbh. I have only one long position on the NSE so speaking from my own perspective as a trader. Longtermers should always remember that “Past performance does not guarantee future results".
Medium, long , or short terms all depend on the eye of the beholder. In my humble opinion, I think your stay should depend on your target profit, company performance, and general market conditions. I could remember when I was newly introduced into the stock market as at march/April 2013 by a friend, the maximum daily price movement at full bid then was 10% as against 5%today. Although inexperienced then, I could easily make 30-50% profit in 5 straight days in any of my stock that gained. In any case, flexibility is key.
