We have long celebrated Tinubu's victory and his eventual swearng in. Those who have been searching for mandate to steal should go and prepare like Tinubu did.

Kukutente23:Hahahaha! Let's give kudos to Buhari for being resilient over the matter. |
DMerciful:You are right. However, I think the margin between the 1st runner up LP and the 2nd runner up APC, might be smaller than the voided votes during the election. Otherwise, LP should be declared the winner. Even if there is a valid reason to have another election, it should not involve PDP. |
fergie001:It is not explicit enough. Maybe the actual copy of the ruling would contain more explicit information. |
LeoDeKing:You forget that Yoruba has always been their reference for any achievement of theirs. |
When the ungrateful refugees are gone, modernity will rise out of the ashes. The Lagos State Government should never look at any Kayode or Uche's face when the need to have modern markets is the goal. |
Did Igbos who voted with over 90% votes for the same Peter Obi they had previously condemned, do so out of spite for Yorubas? This election loss really pained the clansman. |
OMEGA009:There was already a court judgment before the election, that was not fully complied with. Meaning a pre-election judgement was not executed. |
I thought where a winning candidate was not validly nominated to contest, the judgement is that the 1st runner up is awarded the victory as long as the margin of victory of the 1st runner up versus the 2nd runner up is above the total votes cancelled. So if the LP candidate as 1st runner up cannot be declared winner maybe due to the close margin with the APC candidate as 2nd runner up, then the new election should include only those parties and same candidates who participated in the original election minus the PDP candidate. |
Maybe he wants to explain how he was changing his 1st name earlier in life like he was changing political party later in life. When Atiku is done with his speech, let Siddiq also mount the podium. |
Reminds me of Nnamdi Kanu and his Turkish "Diplomat". |
Hedonisco:You mean the Yorubas hated the "Ibo" Jonathan, yet same Jonathan was campaigned and protested for by Yorubas so he could be made the official acting President while Yar'Adua was away on his sick bed? The Yorubas hated the "Ibo" Jonathan, yet same Jonathan won every Yoruba state except Osun State in the 2011 presidential elections, despite that the PDP he belonged to was already a minority party in the SouthWest region? What happened was that Jonathan failed and was clearly clueless about everything. We remember Igbos telling Yorubas to go meet Tinubu for appointment then, which is now happening with President Tinubu in power. What was most observable during the Jonathan regime was the insistence by the Igbos to always defend the government despite its failures. No tribe protested against the Obasanjo regime more than his fellow Yorubas. Igbos were also very fond of castigating the failures of that regime. No tribe protested against the Yar'Adua regime more than Yorubas who also decried the sidelining of Jonathan as the Vice-President whom a dying President refused to handover his executive powers. Igbos were also very vocal in castigated the failures of the federal government then. But with the Jonathan regime, the Yorubas thought they had a right to condemn the failures of the federal government like they had become used too since the military era, only to see the castigating Igbos suddenly become the fiercest supporters of the federal government. That was the period that I as a Yoruba and many Nigerians realised the lessons the Igbos taught us. We thought we had been protesting against the failures of the different regimes before Jonathan as Nigerians wanting a better performance. Until the Igbos told us during the Jonathan regime that we are Yorubas who have lost out of political power that is why we are protesting and condemning the Jonathan regime. It was Igbos who opened our eyes to our own foolishness as demonstrated by their own calculated support for Jonathan as long as he kept providing them political rewards. Do not criticize a government that you tribally align with for political benefit. So the Yorubas tribally aligned with the Buhari regime, and rarely criticized him, as such no national protest could ever work against that government. As for the Tinubu regime, we have gone to meet Tinubu as the Igbos taunted us, and we have made him President. We have learnt well from the Igbos, so mum's the word. Let the Igbos criticize as they see fit, we do not owe them any criticism of the Federal Government now, and if they need anything, let them go and meet Peter Obi. So you are right about the period in time, but you are wrong about the details of what transpired. |
Kukutente23:I repeat, they provided evidence, something we don't see in their news reports anymore. Judging by your response, I reckon you refused to believe then with evidence, but now believe them without evidence? I wonder if you are projecting a reverse of your own situation as mine. |
lexy2014:All of that even happened on 10th and 11th June. But they had an affair till 24th July. The only sticky point in the matter that made the Medical authorities to discipline the doctor was because he had sex with a patient inside the hospital. There is no reported case of criminal prosecution. |
Roboto11:It was consensual and apart from the 10th June in the hospital toilet, and 11 June in the patient's house, it was reported they had a sexual affair till 24th July of that year. It only became a rape accusation because she made an accusation in July, maybe after she realised he wasn't planning to have a long relationship with her. The medical authorities only got involved because he had a sexual affair with a patient, more so with the sex in the hospital toilet. Nothing concerns the medical authorities with the rape claims besides the fact that it informed them about what the doctor did with his patient. |
press9jatv:Maybe because they give them equipment they are not trained to operate. |
There was a time Sahara Reporters was a credible news outlet because they presented hard facts as evidence to back up their stories. Now all they have are stories, no evidence at all. |
Okoroawusa:Please tell them. How can people come out to celebrate the corrupt means by which they got a passport. |
Couldntfigurean:In Nigeria, she being from Umahia in Abia State, she will not get such appointment in Anambra State that is the same Igbo tribe. That is the irony that is lost on Igbos who continue to celebrate that they are accepted in the Western world, but do not even accept themselves in similar fashion in their own Igboland. It is a fact that even civil servants from Abia are sacked in Anambra state public service, while the Anambrarians in Abia public service are also sacked in return of the "favour". Imagine such profiling within the same tribe celebrating foreign acceptance that is an anomaly within their own tribe. |
May God not bless me with the kind of money I would be afraid to spend for the good of those around me. Certainly, Peter Obi has phobia for spending money. Even as Anambra State Governor, he preferred to save the state funds in his own bank than spend it for the benefit of the people |
Both Atiku and Siddiq combined together to pursue Presidential ambition for the 8th time, yet they could not together defeat Tinubu who contested for the 1st time ever. Shame on Atiku. |
This is one Obi that will not invest state public funds in the company he was former board chairman and significant share holder. The other Obi who has been changing name as he was later to change political party, no get integrity for him vocabulary. |

Raskimonojendor:It is the Jews who have a weird belief that if they can eventually build a new temple in Jerusalem, then the Messiah will come. They do not accept Jesus Christ as the Messiah they were promised. Ask them the purpose of the warrior Messiah the Jews are expecting? Who is he coming to destroy to the happiness of the Jews? |
Christian or Muslim, they mean the same to the Jews. If Jews can lay their hands on Jesus Christ, they will crucify him again and ask that a Jewish terrorist be released in his place. I repeat that it is the British that caused all this problem by allowing Jewish refugees from Europe to come settle in Palestine among the majority Arab. Till 1919, the region known as Palestine had 90% non-Jewish population, and this was despite that 2 migration waves of Jews had already arrived since the late 19th century, in what is known as the 1st and 2nd Aliyah. That the world regard Arabs as terrorists today, is all down to the illegal occupation of Palestine by Jews who had no business setting up a new country there in 1948. Israel is largely responsible for the instability of the Middle-East region by its mere illegal existence on Palestinian land. Otherwise, the Arabs with their Islam would just be the way the UAE/Qatar/Saudi-Arabia are with their societies that are religious, but peaceful and prosperous. Many Christians in Nigeria are looking for means to go make that Arab money in the Middle-East, working as Oilfield Workers and Experts, IT Experts, Medical Experts, and unskilled labour. The Christian Europe is enjoying lots of investments from the Arab world as much as it also receives refugees from the Arab world. All the anti-Arab and anti-Muslim hatred has largely been orchestrated by Jewish propaganda that carefully identified the Arab as the new fall guys for global hatred - a role the Jews had previously occupied with genocidal consequences for the tribe as seen with the holocaust and all the discrimination they had suffered in the hands of Christian Europe over the ages. |
This is a wage award and not a minimum wage. It is an extra monthly allowance for all Civil Servants within the stipulated grade range. |
Magnanimity as a post-war policy, is where Gowon stands out as a leader. |
Racoon:They have confessed their victory, while the other side confessed their unconditional surrender. The expected outcome of war and not Olympic games. |
Akaegwu:You cannot suppress the Igbo in you. You see why those that want Nigeria to progress have to avoid giving critical roles to those who only love Nigeria when they are the ones ruling. See example below. Very cunning patriots.
|
Jostoman:Dem no appoint Igbos, you will lament. Dem appoint Igbos, you will still lament. Tinubu had better withdraw the appointment and give it to where the people can reciprocate his gestures. Stop wasting resources on lost causes, besides what is constitutionally mandatory to give them. |
