HIGHESTPOPORI:Justice Nweze died in 2023. You are referring to the previous Igbo Justice that died in 2021. That one is a question for Buhari and the previous CJN. |
DMerciful:Yes I know your level of anarchism. |
raskymonojendor:Honestly, many do not realise that their continued support for those anarchists and their destructive propaganda, is only delaying the progress of this nation. Imagine Hundeyin lamenting that the Tinubu regime was paying the Army very well to avoid coup. So the welfare of government employees should not be a given in a responsible democracy? The Western nations he is hoping to migrate to as a refugee, also pay the military well just to avoid coup? |
OGHENAOGIE:Honestly, journalism ethics no reach for where headlines dey sell news. It is a big shame. |
eldoradoxx:But that is the extant law. The current CJN did not put it up. There is nothing wrong with the 2nd most senior Justice of the Supreme Court, who happen to be retiring, to make valuable recommendations on how the legal system can better operate. The Tinubu regime and the Legal stakeholders can look into such now, not before the conclusion of the election petition when anarchists can always claim all manner of rubbish. Just imagine that the greatest lamentation beside the valuable recommendations made by the retired Justice is about salary. Imagine the Tinubu regime came to their rescue in June or August, would the news media and the likes of Hundeyin the anarchist, not have regaled us about the corrupt allowance and unmerited salary increment granted to the Justices to buy their loyalty to favour Tinubu and APC? |
Kukutenla:That is the other Igbo Justice who died earlier, not Justice Centus Nweze. That one is on the previous CJN and Buhari regime. You imagine what your opinion would have been if the current CJN tried to appoint new Justices under this Tinubu regime, knowing the presidential election result was still in contest and heading to the Supreme Court. Just Imagine the propaganda you would have marshalled against the Yoruba CJN and the Yoruba Tinubu? Imagine Tinubu tried to increase the salary that this retired Justice lamented bitterly about? Would you have given a rational response to such gesture knowing you are not a logical fellow? Now all that needs to be done can be done without all the propaganda. |
DMerciful:I know you especially. Imagine the current CJN replaced the one that died in 2021 or Justice Nweze that died in July? Just Imagine the propaganda you would have regaled us with about Tinubu and his Yoruba CJN choosing an Igbo Justice that will do their bidding. Guess what, Tinubu still won the case. And those Justices would now be replaced without all the propaganda you and your fellow anarchists would have regaled us with. |
joyandfaith:Did you kill him? Why not tell us how he died? |
Bobloco:Whoever said there is no source? Both you and the sensational news media that put the headline, are you not with the same anarchist mindset? Is this not the reason many notable people who get interviewed, come out later to say they were misquoted by the news media who use false headlines to sell the content? |
Bobloco:You mean like you who posted the false headline from News Media who live on false narratives? If I read the headline only I would have missed the valuable information and recommendations that the retired Justice offered the public. How does recommendations from a retired Justice imply abuse of power by the CJN, if the CJN is operating on the current laws and powers accorded his office? Even the CJN who was seated at the event had this to say about the retired Justice. Meanwhile, earlier in the ceremony, the CJN, in his speech, paid glowing tribute to the retiring jurist who he described as a “quintessential Judicial icon with dazzling qualities and alluring stature.”Our News Media should learn to be responsible in their headlines. |
Acidosis:Victim Complex from the loser who found a headline that aligns with his need to feel persecuted. |
Acidosis:I read well. He deliberated on many anomalies. 1. The powers of the office of a CJN for which he was the 2nd most senior, and which he thinks the powers should be limited. Does that mean the current CJN who was seated at the event, is abusing his powers as CJN when that is the extant law? 2. He lamented the poor pay of Supreme Court Justices, and even lamented the poorer pay of the CJN. 3. He lamented about the fact that only 4 out of 6 geopolitical regions of Nigeria, currently have representation in the Supreme Court. 4. He mentioned that the Presidential appeal should have had Justices from all the geopolitical zones, but it would not be possible as the 2 regions who do not have Justices in the Supreme Court cannot be represented. He also mentioned that Justice Nweze sudden death contributed to this shortage. Now tell me the cracks and tell me the abuse of power? Losers just love sensational headlines. Stop putting words in the mouth of the retired Justice. A retired Justice cannot make recommendations in peace, without sensational news journalist looking to promote anarchy trying to twist the words with a false headline? |
What is instructive is the poor salary of the Justices, even the CJN is poorer. “It may interest one to know that the Chief Registrar of the Supreme Court earns more than the Justices. While she earns N1.2m per month, justices take home N751, 000 in a month.Imagine if Tinubu had increased their salary so they won't have to complain about earning less than the Chief Registra, or so the CJN would not earn less than his fellow Judges? The anarchists among us would have said "Tinubu allowance" was being paid unconstitutionally to influence the Supreme Court because of election appeal. They would have said that is why the CJN "disguised" on a wheel chair (in plain sight ooo), to meet Tinubu in UK and collect bribe in the form of increased salary for all the Judges. Even now that the appeal is over, let the unjust and embarrassing salary as lamented by the retiring Justice continue. We don't need another useless controversy that Tinubu paid them to appreciate their Judgement. Even if same Tinubu had pushed for the CJN to appoint more Supreme Court Judges before the election appeal was concluded, the anarchists would still have read meaning to it. In an insane society, only the absurd is tolerated. |
mrvitalis:Victim complex as always. “This is not what our laws envisage. Although it can be posited that no one expected the sudden passing of Hon. Justice Nweze JSC, yet, it has been two years and seven months since previous justice from South-East died and no appointment was made.”Whose fault is it that Justice Centus Nweze died in July 2023? |
Foolish sensational headlines. I don't know why losers keep grasping at straws with sensational headlines, that has nothing to do with the content. How does stating that the office of a CJN has powers he considers should be subdued, become an abuse of power when the function is legitimate and the extant law? All the Justices including the CJN himself were at this farewell dinner. |
Depriest2020:You get that Social Studies. JSS1 to JSS3, the easiest of all subject as long as you can read and remember, but some still dey fail am. |
OK! But when you go deactivate as promised naa? |
When will Tinubu appoint those who have been calling for coup and anarchy? Maybe he knows that cannot be trusted. |
3ice9ce:His Igbo ringtone is resonating with tribal loss. |
Racoon:Igbo man. Eternally angry over the loss of his brother whose case was dismissed within 2 minutes with mutatis mutandis. Muntula, keep wailing. |
Tinubu will fill up. |
For the desperate political prostitutes and ticket hunters, they are never at peace with their ambition vis-a-vis their reality, hence the futility that concludes their journey. |
Raskimonojendor:You are not far from the truth. |
Yekpaa! But most currencies have gained massively over the last 4weeks. BTC gained about $9k moving from $25k to $34k over the 4week period. |
almarthins:It is a gain from the last price. I already advised those stocking up to offload. |
Ok |
seunmsg:He is not happy that the government is making its workers happy. He wanted a situation that would cause anarchy that can topple the government. |
This guy is a deranged loser. So that soldiers are well paid is a demerit for which the government must be condemned? If Teachers and Doctors also get what they want from government, it would be because he doesn't want them to stage a revolution? When has it been a bad thing for the government to pay its staff well? |
See as he rubbish Obi and his Lawyers. Supreme Court use Mutatis Mutandis to finish the Muntula within 2 minutes, him leg no reach ground. As for Atiku the desperate politician, he will now permanently exile himself to Dubai as a serially failed presidential aspirant and candidate. So long Siddiq. |
It is not right. If Innoson can supply within the required time frame, then they should patronise a local manufacturer. |
omenka:Hahahahaha! Sometimes, they just need a good hug to reassure them.
