Did he remember to mock Atiku who was rejected at his very own polling unit? Did he remember to mock Saraki whose political structure was totally uprooted from Kwara state, such that he does not even have any influence over a mere state legislator and is now politically useless and hopeless? Did he remember to also mock Kwankwaso who allied himself with PDP and ended up losing his senatorial election? When is he going to mock Patience Jonathan who has had another N2.4b naira seized by the supreme court, in addition to the $8.4m earlier seized? |
I wonder what FFK and Reno Omokri will say about the unfinished money of our billionaire civil servant disgraced former first lady? Mike Ozekhome, the lawyer who has made his wealth defending looters and thieves, yet he laments about Nigeria not working. |
My happiness is that Reno Omokri will remain jobless and miserable for another 4years. |
His head really suffered from the crash. |
I chuckle whenever I remember how some political juveniles once compared a 1-state Saraki to Tinubu whose influence extends across political regions. Now, the same Saraki does not even have influence beyond his polling unit.

Pavarottii:Dude, you have an acute comprehension problem. Simply put, what you posted implies that Shell Oil Company which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Shell the Anglo-Dutch giant, is based in USA. Similar to SPDC which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Shell the Anglo-Dutch giant, is based in Nigeria. Shell Oil Company of USA has no business with the oil wells that are owned by SPDC of Nigeria. Just as SPDC of Nigeria has no business with oil wells owned by Shell Oil Company of USA. The relationship between both American and Nigerian subsidiaries of Shell, is that they are subsidiaries of Shell, the Anglo-Dutch oil company. |
Pavarottii:He is asking you what is the business of the Shell Oil Company based in USA that you quoted, with SPDC that is the Nigerian subsidiary of the Anglo-Dutch giant Shell? If you had understood what you posted, you will know that Shell is the wholesome owner of Shell Oil Company of USA, just as the same Shell is the wholesome owner of Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria. So what is America's business with SPDC that is owned by Shell, the Anglo-Dutch company? |
Xisnin:Due Process? Like Jonathan followed with N17b bribe to have his budget passed? |
PrecisionFx:It is FG's business if they choose to delay federal projects forever. This was a state project for which financing had been sought by way of loans that required FG approval. The role played by the Jonathan PDP regime to frustrate the loan facility was highlighted as a factual reason that plans and contracts already agreed, could not be effected. While Ambode's role in devoting funds to other projects of his own appeal was also mentioned. You obviously read the report as detailed by the OP, and the opinions with facts expressed by others, but you did not comprehend it. You just bumped into the thread to defend and lament without any basis. |
I love that this same OP has been running from pillar to post since yesterday, lamenting and wailing about what the majority APC is deciding in the Senate that it controls. I can only wish him more agony and helplessness. |
Ok |
PrecisionFx:Even when his role played to stall the project has been clearly highlighted, and the timeline of the project start detailed, you still decided to try your luck with a foolish statement. |
OBJANDIBB:Did I tell you he was groomed as a teenager? I am talking about public and political office. Was Fashola not a SAN before Tinubu made him Chief of Staff to the Governor, and then Governor himself? Was Osinbajo not a Professor of Law before Tinubu made him Commissioner for Justice, and then Vice-President? Are all those listed there not professionals in their own right before Tinubu made them the notable political and public officers they are today? But he is Agbepo because he is associated with Tinubu who made him Commissioner and now Director General of Federal Budget Office? |
capitalzero:The same Funsho Williams that his family abandoned PDP because they know his death came from PDP? Did Tinubu not defeat Funsho Williams of PDP to win reelection in 2003, despite all other AD governors in the SouthWest losing to the PDP federal might in that same 2003? |
helinues:They worked and studied and proved themselves worthy of greater roles. Saraki too has enrolled, so that his teacher might guide him aright.
|
donbachi:Tinubu also groomed an Igbo man called Ben Akabueze. He is currently the Director General of the Federal Budget Office, having previously served in Lagos as Commissioner for Economic Planning and Budget. Can you name any former governor who has groomed men at the state level, that are still relevant as political leaders and as core technocrats in government at the federal level? |
EastGold:Maurice Iwu is singlehandedly responsible for the staggered governorship elections we have in Nigeria. He penchant for electoral fraud, which were overturned at the courts, is why some states don't vote for their governors at the same time with other states. |
kekakuz:How did PDP win? And did they also win or lead in Plateau state? An inconclusive election is declared if inconclusive. If you like hit your head on the wall and break it, it will not change the electoral laws that guide INEC decision. |
Yusuf4:See past opinion of our spokesman who is speaking for the North. |
Hahahahaha! He has to put up a fight as his case is not totally concluded. |
famouscargo4u:Orji uzor Kalu is going to be a newcomer at the Senate. |
akenzua74:Can you pin point what INEC has done wrong besides having to postpone the election on the D-day? Have they declared a victory where it was inconclusive, or they have declared inconclusive where there was a victory? Or have they allowed allocation of results where there was no election? Or they have accepted results where the INEC field officials have reported they were threatened to declare false results? |
famouscargo4u:Not a ranking Senator but a newcomer. |
Good for him and APC. I will support he gets deputy Senate President, if SouthSouth does not get the Senate Presidency over the NorthEast. |
Lagos has still not harnessed its water transport potentials. |
Why on earth will Nigerians apologize to a corrupt Maurice Iwu of the Obasanjo do or die election infamy? Tell Maurice Iwu not to hold his breath expecting any apology, but should be expectant that he will someday pay for his daylight robberies of results allocation. |
To those of us who understand electoral laws, we know that elections are inconclusive because they do not meet up with the requirement to be declared conclusive. I will urge the OP to use this thread to educate political illiterates on the conditions outlined in the electoral law, that need to be met before an election can be conclusive, for which the inability to meet such conditions would make an election inconclusive. A lot of people need to be educated. By the way, the very first inconclusive election, was Ngige vs Akunyili, for the Senate seat from Anambra in 2011. The next was in Kogi 2016, when Abubakar Audu of APC was leading the PDP with an almost unassailable gap, but INEC declared it inconclusive as the cancelled votes was still beyond the huge margin. An already ill Audu died of heart attack upon hearing INEC's decision. |
The politicians are more desperate as they know that it has become harder to rig, unlike the glory days of rigging like Jonah Jang espoused about succeeding with rigging because God allowed it. However, these desperate actions from the politicians have met a brick and incorrigible wall in INEC. INEC is not responsible for whatever banditry or violence perpetrated by the politicians, it is responsible for vote conduct, vote count, vote collation, and declaration of outcome in line with the electoral act. Also, INEC has demonstrated a highly commendable compliance with court orders as it concerns the suitability of candidates or parties for the election. So, if there is a winner, a winner is declared. If there is an inconclusive election, it is declared as such, without any regard for who is leading, shouting, screaming or wailing. |
prince3009:By voting in candidates, and not claiming that one party is a taboo in the region. The North have shown same resolve. The SouthEast is still lagging behind. |
If the DSP is zoned to the SW by the majority APC, and the APC SW caucus agree that she would be the senior Senator for the role, and the APC senators vote in her favour, what will a zombie from PDP do about it? |
AfonjaConehead:We already proved our sophistication, the North already proved theirs, while the SouthEast continues to prove what we already know about them. |
“President Buhari is on record to have said that Nigerians were free to vote for political parties of their choice, at a time key APC members were openly expressing support for governorship candidates on the platform of other parties. He is only doing what is right. The people are deciding, yet PDP is still crying that it was not allowed to rig, or be the only party on the ballot paper. |
