Lama70: What people don't know about Obaseki is his penchant for war and it's tactics. The guy studied the most complex course in university of Ibadan. Though often misunderstood, it is addressed as the medicine of the Arts department.
That course is called Classics or Classical studies. It's a combination of Latin, Greek language and history (which is basically war history). It also contains philosophy, contemporary religion and economics. That's why he was able translate into financial guru effortlessly. You are deemed intelligent if you're a committed student of Classics.
The author of Harry Potter, former British PM Boris Johnson, Emeka Anyaoku and Bola Ige all did this course. You don't mess with their intelligence. He's just starting with Shuaibu .The Shuaibu guy has bitten more than he can chew. Please will you Shvt up ? Studying literature doesn't turn anybody into a genius. Since when are scholars in litterature considered geniuses ? Have you heard of science ? And who told you Boris Johnson is a genius? Your vivid imagination has no limits. |

WrriterNig: ⚡📰 The Daily Telegraph:
The British Royal Air Force guards ships carrying 🇺🇦 Ukrainian grain after the termination of the grain deal.
In recent weeks, 🇬🇧 British aircraft have been patrolling [the airspace] over the Black Sea to prevent attacks on civilian ships.
London intends to “use its surveillance, reconnaissance and information gathering capabilities to monitor 🇷🇺 Russian activities in the Black Sea.” It's the telegraph so it might be completely fabricated. Although it seems England lives to provoke Russia. England is like the skinny dude in high school who has a large gang and uses it to act tough against boxing champions of that same school. England wants to "monitor" Russian actions in the black sea to save innocent ships, but the same England is also giving intelligence to Ukraine in order to attack Russian war ships in the black sea. English presence in the black sea is a legitimate military target. Just saying. |

Nobody should be fooled, Yoruba in general have no love for any other southerner. They think of themselves only and backstabb the rest of the south to achieve their goals. |

Darren95: They never knew that, the Palace of the Great Oba of Benin is a point of contact between the Yoruba and over 40% of South South people with Benin origin. I am tired of Yoruba made up stories. Listen the Oba of Benin is great and he is the emperor of a great empire (Precolonial map below). But the Yoruba need to stop trying to appropriate the Benin monarchy and Benin history. The Benin people and Benin empire is older than Yoruba, so don't get confused. As for the "point of contact between Yoruba...", whatever that means, just stop. You can have love and respect for the Benin monarchy, that doesn't mean you need to bring out your ethnic fairytales at every turn and claim without proof what has no links with you. Some people who call themselves Yoruba today are actually Benin descendants, yes, but Benin descendants are a vary large multilingual group as seen in the Precolonial map (many groups currently identified as ethnicities are actual Benin descendents), so in that case where does the "point of contact between Yoruba ..." come from ? I swear if you start talking about fairytale figures like oduduwa and oranmiyan...

Those who claim that "military rule" was worse than this current civilian rule in Nigeria are liars and propagandists. I was in Nigeria when it was led by babangida and later on by sani abacha. It wasn't worse than Nigeria today, there was a lot more security.
Nigeria doesn't have democracy, elections and a civilian president do not translate to democracy. Nigeria's current regime doesn't work for the interests of Nigerians, it works for the best interests of an other country: usa. |

Nigeria did not apply to join, we went to SA as an observer.
We are currently not even interested and the best diplomatic way of saying no is to say we are still observing.
What do you people even gain from lying? Except I'm not lying. Nigeria did apply to join brics. Nigeria was the first country to apply after it felt snubbed due to the fact South Africa was allowed in and Nigeria wasn't. Once again, I'm speaking from memory, I won't do any research, you are allowed to do your own research on the topic. |

Gajagojo: Evidence please? How
whether or not Nigeria applied to join in 1900 or not which is not admitted as true by the way How is that relevant in 2023
Your response is typical of liars. Instead of dealing with the lie in ground you shift goalposts to introduce another distracting and irrelevant lie.
Has Nigeria under Tinubu or even Buhari applied to join BRICS ? Yes or no? Where is the evidence? Where is the evidence of rejection
Let us resolve those questions before you start say in How on or Tafawa Balewa tried to join NATO 1) In 1900 there was no Nigeria. 2) I don't care about buhzri or tinubu who seem to be your obsession, also if you do your own research you will find out that brics was created before buhzri became president. 3) I am saying what I said out of memory, because I wasn't born yesterday and I'm not a political thug like you, I remember the news which I read years ago. 4) brics rejected Nigeria, end of story. |
