Billyonaire: Do you know how much it costs to host and run Nairaland by the benefactors ? Do you think its very profitable to the investors of this project ? If the site admin puts up a TOS, you have no choice than to obey it or visit other forums. Sometimes we have to be firm and decisive. Obey the rules of the forum. I obey them too.
Of course I know how much it costs to host and run. I believe anyone that is interested to can also easily get that info. Hope you understand that though this is a free forum site, the owner can only make money with it if there is a considerable amount of visitors to the site. So its not really a matter of what they come here to say, but how much what they say can attract people to the site.

Though I am not is support of some comments though, but those silly comments may just be raking in some money for the site owner you know.

delvinmaya: never heard fela fled to ghana when d heat became unbearable
Guy, think straight. that's not what the thread is about.

Reyginus: I pity those who take idris for a role model. What happened to the african tradition?
No one is calling him a role model. He only pointed out the vice in the country. I'm not a great fan of his though, but we all know what he said is the FACT
CelebritiesRe: Eedris Abdulkareem Calls Obasanjo A ‘Mugu’ by stpat1(m): 6:30pm On Sep 02, 2012
eedris was right, this was what fela also did during his time and they called it unpatriotic but we still see the result of what he sang way back then.

Obasanjo does not have the moral standing to crucify eedris cos he was there for 8 years and could not prove the guy wrong.

Billyonaire: It serves you right. I hope they ban this new ID too. Nairaland must be purged. I propose that people pay to register in this forum so as send away little brains. Nairaland is not twitter or facebook, where Eedris, Hell-Rufai and others display their madness.e
Guy, you are beginning to sound like Hitler here by calling for a pure breed. Without different people saying different things here, Nairaland would have been damn boring.

Following your posts for sometime now, I can clearly deduce that you also posted some of the dumbest topics here, but we let it go because this is Nairaland. So pls live and let others live. cool

yemi2plus2: Let it be noted that at the risk of sounding platitudinously humdrum,we have asseverated for the upteenth time, that the convocation of a sovereign national conference for purposesof interrogating the odoriferous vaudeville of our national jeremiad, remains the only potentand efficaciously utilitarian paspartou out of our cascading national sirocco but alas, disdain complacency to say the least and at best Olympian pococuranteismand the tedium of prescriptive poco a poco is what we have been greeted with by intellectual philistines, hig h priests of a prebendal state and their opprobrious agents...LOOK AM NOW?If this is indeed true, many more may follow and this deposits me in a state of heebie jeebies.

Its a shame he lost a son to testing of bullet repelling charm. I hope the herbalist too got arrested because he ought to be charged for
1: Obtaining money under false pretense
2: Accomplice for manslaughter
3: Carry out practice with an intent to cause bodily harm, maim or murder

This list can be up to ten count charges if I really have time to analyse his crime
BusinessRe: Guys, Let's Talk Business by stpat1(m): 5:53pm On Sep 02, 2012
Ihedinobi: The main piece of advice I want to offer is this: use your heads. Think about what you're doing. What you think is a problem can actually be a new opportunity. I think stpat1's issue with one of his prospective partners is a good example.

One of your prospective partners indicates greed demanding that he be given the right to keep the money got from the biz, if I understand correctly. I'm not sure if the person was asking to be made the treasurer, but if he was and his partnership is needed, rather than throw out his demand, you could ask for some time to work it out or think about it.

You might see in a week how to make him treasurer, secure the money against loss through him, keep his partnership and do a successful biz. Business is thought. You must think. Face the problems and challenges and address them squarely. .[/b]

God-speed, guys.
Thanks Ihedinobi, Actually I met the guy again a few hrs ago for us to thrash out the issue of the money to be paid into his account. We reasoned together and we concluded that instead of me, being the one with the idea, connection and doing all the work and only to have the money paid into his account because he's the financier is quite not encouraging.

So what we resolved doing is that, we agreed that the money is only to be paid while we are both present so that he takes his and I take mine. Though he reduced the % I offered but I think its not a bad deal considering he's investing. Its better than letting the opportunity just slip off.

I also need some more biz ideas too, though I am already involved with some Nairalanders and hope to also partake in some other offers presented too with time.

Thanks.

NB: PH guys I'm still calling on biz minded dudes for us to meet somewhere sometime in PH to discuss biz.

@peacemaker, I think we should try and discuss a time and date here for all interested people irrespective of location on www.doxwox.com

Yea I've met with about 2 guys, but I was disappointed when one of the guys said the money will be going into his account since he's the major investor in a lucrative sand supply biz I wanted us to run on a % terms. that's how greedy some people are.

hairtrade: Dear Friends,

We are a company based in New Delhi, the capital of India and are involved in the Hair business( Both Indian and Brazilian Hair). We have been working in Ghana, Zimbabwe, USA, Zambia and now look for partners in Nigeria to expand our business in this high-growth economy.

Help us in understanding the Nigerian market. Please Post your valuable tips and guidelines about how to approach the Nigerian Market. We wish to understand user behaviour, choices and preferences.
If you can send some samples, I can introduce it to some major salons around and see their reaction to it. then the price has to be competitive too. I'm in PH.

barikay: now i knw u meant business. I wil lik u to giv a clue of hw d whole thing is going to run. Are we going to bring ideas to d table and pursue d most lucrative one as an organisation or individually? Even though we are going to meet lets hav an idea of what is going to be discuss
This is why I want a mutually agreed place and time for us to discuss on the different biz Ideas we have, and the pursue the most lucrative one after scrutinizing and reviewing it in circumspect.

So interested guys in PH should just send me a mail with the title "PH BIZ, I'm interested". you phone numbers, location and when best is free for you should be stated in the mail. Then I can get back to you after consulting everyone so we can fix a place and time to meet.

PoliticsRe: People Jam-packed In A Lagos BRT Bus (Pics) by stpat1(m): 11:11pm On Aug 31, 2012
Whose fault is it? The passengers will do all they can to get on the bus even when its obviously packed because its cheaper that going for other buses. You also know people are impatient as they could have easily waited for the next bus with available seats. (that's if the next one is in sight anyway).

It does not happen in Lagos alone. PH is worse as they are not only packed, THEY ARE JAMMED sad

Of course you should know that in every para military body in Nigeria that has been mandated to enforce laws will always have bad eggs and over zealous personnel amongst them. So that's what you see there. To add to that, Lagos drivers need iron hand.
PoliticsRe: Pipeline Explosion Kills People In Ogun State by stpat1(m): 10:17pm On Aug 31, 2012
Its the Youths in the area that carry out this unpatriotic act. I've been to that region about 3 different times to repair Vandalised pipelines. When we get to the spot, we notice that people in the locality, including the Baalees and and chiefs must have scooped enough for themselves before calling the NNPC maintenance team. We found over 30 50 ltr kegs of PMS in the Baales backyard. So tell me, who's fooling who?

If you want almajiris, I'll advice you take your ar.se to the core north. . there you'll find them, not in kogi state.
Mind you, if you think I care about the oyel discovered either in my state or your state, I'll advice you dig a 25ft well and fall into it.
#just a piece for you to reconstruct your manners.
Lol. This is funny o, so Kogi people are claiming oil wells too? soon Sokoto and Maiduguri will be claiming the oil wells in Delta, Edo, Akwa Ibom, Rivers and Bayelsa are theirs too o. Though I'm not from Kogi (Kai) nor Anambra (iro o) but I strongly believe those wells are in Anambra. Those guys must have done their homework well before coming to the open to say its in Anambra you know. shocked

I'll appreciate you tell us what transpired between you guys so I can deduce if it has to also do with what he proposed for me.

Why are they holding the pharmacist? he has not done anything wrong, the drug used can be bought by anyone over the counter so I see no reason why he should be detained for over 24 hrs. All they needed to do was to invite him for questioning. Its like going to the market to arrest a knife seller because a buyer stabbed someone with it. As for the rest ROT IN HELL!
