El Matteo: I have spent †ђε last 5 hours there about reading through this post from its 1st page τ̅☺ its present one aπϑ I must say I am awed at †ђε level of maturity shown in this trend. U must agree with ♍ε̲̣̣̣̥ đα̲̅τ̲̅ most on nairaland aя̩̥̊ε̲̣̣̣̥ often taken over by kids aπϑ pple đα̲̅τ̲̅ wud luv τ̅☺ make a joke of everytin. I am a recently graduated doctor aπϑ just about starting my housemanship but I have always had this passion for business aπϑ can't just depend on my salary. I am a writer aπϑ have made quite some money writing online. I don't write articles btw, I write academic essays aπϑ †ђε pay has not been bad considering đα̲̅τ̲̅ I combined it with my own academics(I've made about 180k this year while in skul doing đα̲̅τ̲̅). However I must say đα̲̅τ̲̅ I had τ̅☺ drop it cos it was mentally demanding as I had τ̅☺ write on different areas đα̲̅τ̲̅ aren't even related τ̅☺ my field which means a lot or research goes into it.
Therefore, considering đα̲̅τ̲̅ I'm about starting work full time, I need τ̅☺ find something less tasking. I have decided τ̅☺ try blogging aπϑ website flipping.

BusinessRe: How To Keep Tab On Truck Drivers by stpat1(m): 1:28am On Oct 04, 2012
TokyoBulls: This ia a very interesting topic and I hope people will come out and share their experiences.

(i) First thing is that I do the best I can to get 'relatively good' drivers; especially with referrals from 'good' drivers that currently work with us and have good records. As much as possible,

(ii) I ensure that he is married possibly with kids and I know his family and they know me. They know the source of their daily bread so that they can also caution him.

(iii) I ensure all communication with the drivers are never in 'born-again' tones. Drivers are drivers and more than 90% are very irresponsible.

(iv) I install vehicle trackers on my trucks and check up with the drivers' claims before he starts misbehaving. None of the drivers is aware there are tracker on the trucks they drive. They only think I have spies in different towns and cities who watch my trucks. So if he tells me he is in Abuja and the the tracker tells me otherwise, he is in trouble.

(v) I treat them and their family well to minimize the temptation to steal. This will make them value the job as one that brings food to their table.

(vi) I always have back up drivers and make it very clear to them. You don't get a second chance with me. You get fired immediately you are caught, and there is a ready-made replacement.

(viii) Pray! Pray! Pray! Drivers are drivers. Even after doing all these, many of them will consistently misbehave.
You've said it all. What else can I say. Sometimes I just get the services of an escort and pay him. though its not a sure way of checking the drives though.

Of all, you need to have time to really do all that has been mentioned above.

How many people have thought of the Home and Office cleaning service? Its a good biz to go into. All you need is to get a few Appliances to package your services, a few workers and get a few customers then you'll be smiling to the bank. This biz is untapped and is needed in busy commercial cities infact everywhere. bIt can be combined with dry cleaning. Its called Janitorial services.

I'll let it out by Oct 15th and will post a screenshot of my earnings by 15th of Nov. My motto is do more talk less.

Business To BusinessRe: Opportunity For Business Ownership by stpat1(m): 2:15am On Sep 30, 2012
I know this e-person (G-50 member) is risking being disrespected, misunderstood, suspected and even banned on this forum for daring to reach out in a bold and earnest attempt to achieve his financial dreams. I have however made peace with the fact that it is a small price to pay for the results am looking for. One thing I will however state very categorically from the onset is that I am not asking for anyone to trust me neither am I asking for anyone to part with any amount of money to an e-person you’ve never met and may never meet. I just have a mutually beneficial proposition for the following classes of people.
1. Anybody looking for an extra stream of Income.
2. Anybody that has desired to be his/her own boss working in a business where s/he owns stock.
3. Anybody looking for a means by which to leave a legacy for his/her children when gone.
4. Anybody looking for a high growth business opportunity into which to invest for both residual income opportunities and high capital value appreciation in the nearest future.
5. Anybody having some discretionary funds lying dormant somewhere from which you desire profit.
6. Indeed anybody planning for a capital intensive venture in the near future from a meagre sum s/he presently has but at a loss as to how best to grow it or too busy to actively work at growing it.
7. Anybody having at least two hundred thousand naira (N200,000.00) and willing to pool it together with funds from a team of other like-minded investors for about a 2% stock holding in a high growth but low risk agro-investment.
If you belong to any of these classes, this then might be that perfect opportunity you have been looking for. I am an ordinary everyday guy with a unique business proposition and a passion for business. Am looking for 2 to 50 like-minded individuals who are willing to partner with me to raise a capital of about eight million naira only (N8,000,000.00) for investment in an agro venture which I have test ran on a small scale in the last six years post graduation. The results I must say have been splendid, the risks quite low and easily preventable, the potential for capital appreciation simply astronomical and market for products very vast and growing with population and even economy.
I propose to spend this capital of eight million naira(N8,000,000.00) for which I seek as follows:
• Purchase 2 hectares of land- N2.2m
• Infrastructural development- N2.2m
• Stock- N0.7m
• Equipment- N0.3m
• Incorporation of Business- N0.1m
• 1 year operating cost- N1.0m
• Truck N1.2m
• Miscellaneous- N 0.3m
• TOTAL- N8.0M

5-Year Return on Investment Forecasts
• Year1- N0.85m
• Year2- N1.2m
• Year3- N2.5m
• Year4- N3.5m
• Year5- N5.0m
Capital value appreciation within this period will rise by 800-1000%. That is to say, the business which is starting with a capitalisation of eight million naira only (N8,000,000.00) will in 5 years be worth at least sixty-four to eighty million naira (N64-80,000,000.00) due principally to fixed stock appreciation minus land appreciation.
Now what exactly am I talking about? Much as I would love to spell it out here, I can’t due to space, time and ownership rights constraints. I am however willing to discuss it in details with as many as signal a meaningful level of interest. Any suggestions particularly such as are on how best to reach a memorandum of understanding will be welcome.
Please note that at no point will you be at risk of losing your money to a fraudster or group of fraudsters as no one will ask you to pay monies to anyone based on trust. On the contrary, there will be a meeting where a memorandum of understanding will be reached, an executive board elected from the pool of prospective shareholders with verifiable names, addresses and faces. Signatories to the proposed company account drawn from the board in a very democratic, transparent and fair manner. Then and only then will the deposits for the business capitalisation be made into the proposed company account with representative signatories.
Therefore, I hereby invite you to please join me aboard this investment train. I can be reached via this e-mail address: geefifti@gmail.com for further procedural arrangements .
Thank you for taking your time to read this.
Tell us the aspect of the Agro venture, where you'll be running it. Is it fish, cassava, rice, yam, poultry. This is just to enable the investor know what he's investing in.

BusinessRe: Guys, Let's Talk Business by stpat1(m): 1:43am On Sep 30, 2012
2sexy: This is for the benefit of everybody. I want to stress the essence of sharing and imparting positively in the life of your fellow Nigerian and also to let some people know that believing in one's dream is paramount to the survival of mankind.

I would have created another thread for this but I felt it's more appropriate to do so here since it was birthed here. This, also, wouldn't have come at a more appropriate time considering you guys are about to take this to the next level.

We all see the whites doing what most people wouldn't do in Nigeria-helping one another and bringing financial, economic and developmental changes
. Here in Nigeria, people are selfish, so selfish that you wouldn't want to help because no one helped you when you needed it most.

You should remember in page 3 of this thread, I made a request for a modem because I was broke due to spending money on final year project. I got only a few responses from 2ruink, Azeez. Some how, it didn't happen with them.

Before I even made that request, to be honest, I was fvcking shy but I had to swallow my pride because I had a target.

I believe a lot of people doubted me then. But if you are smart enough, you should have seen it that I wasn't after money? WHY? Because I know what to do to make that money. Besides, I am not myopic. I am not those cheap guys flying all over the Nigerian Internet Marketing sphere organising seminars on 'How To Make Money Online' but in truth, they have never practise what they preach. I even stated this in page 3 that I know my stuff. Anytime I say this, some Nairalander's on 3 occasions ,out of intimidation, have said I am too proud. Lol! That's their cup of tea, not mine. I paid my dues, sleepless nights, burning at cafes, reading, pouring over ebooks, testing, failing, failing, failing, testing, almost giving up, fell, ,stood up, sweated, got scammed, got laughed at, mocked, just name it and you know where I am coming from.

Pacemaker spotted this from a million miles away and chose to help. I got the modem quite alright and got to work, but not immediately though.

This week's Monday I started what I know how to do best and by yesterday, a deal was strucked , which is worth $500.

This is not some sort of over hyped BS. I kept pacemaker posted via emails about on what I was doing and that's why I don't post often.

$500 is N80,000. That's a salary earned by some people in the bank.

I am not going to say what I did so that some lazy bones don' t think it's easy cos it's not.

My reason for sharing this is to encourage the art of giving and helping people when they need it most. It will go a long way to change lives and please, for those are meeting in Lagos, do not go into this with a selfish thought. If you know that have a problem with being sincere to yourself, back out now.

So, hopefully by next week, my cash will be in my hands. Good luck friends.
2sexy, 2sexy, 2sexy. how many times did I call you? lol. Nice. I'm happy you're rolling in the Benjamins. keep it up

Ogozi: I started a small computer centre business with just one computer for 'pimping' phones and laptops, then i obtained a certificate in computer engineering and i started doing repairs and maintenance. Later i partnered with a friend and we expanded the business to 3 computers, then we started a small cyber café; i acquired some training in forex trading and with dedicated studying i became a very good forex trader. I invested $500 (N78,000) with Forex-metal.com and slowly grew my account to $1,200 (N187,200) in the first 1 month. I now make a steady income from home and my cyber café is doing very fine.
Very good. I love your success story.

Rooneyboy: I don't know if this product would be accepted,
Telling a black man that his normal rice that usually last for about 30 to 45 mins is now for 3min, with our culture and beliefs I don't know if this product will sell.

Indomie has stood the test of time cos it is perceived as a snack and not the conventional (RICE) we all know.
If we have soups in a sachet and is a money spinner, why do you think parboiled rice will fare less better? If I can get Rice ready in just 10 mins or lower then I'll be smiling to the bank.

Pacemaker: Great idea but I am afraid it may not take off like wide fire. Let me suggest away you can make this packaging look good. You mentioned indomie, right? Time is money and it's a minute made food. Why not make your rice a minute made with some juicey spice to it?research companies in Germany that sell per boiled rice with ingredients. I buy a Japanese fried rice from store here, it takes me 3mins to prepare and ready serve. I hope you understand where I am coming from? Nursery school parents will rush your product in heart beat. I hope Dangote and co does not hijack this brilliant idea from me.....lol. This may work for you bruv
I tell you, If anyone can get parboiled rice with some ingredients ready for like 3 - 5 mins it will be hot cake. This is because some adults see noodles as being too light for the hard work they do. This will be a relish number food for students, corporate workers, chicks etc. Good thinking men. I especially love this.
