ItsMeAboki: Go and check your scripture and find out at what age Mary was betroth to Joseph and subsequently gave birth to Jesus. As already mentioned, when it comes to culture, check also your backyard in Ebonyi and Anambra where there are multiple examples. Check what age did the Owele of Onitsha, Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe married his 2nd wife Uche - in fact, barely 15 yrs FYI until three years ago(2016) the the age of sexual consent at the world Christian Headquarters, the Vatican was only 13 years. Why are your pastors and priest renown sexual deviants who often prey on small children, to the extent that the Pope had to come out and apologise on their behalf for the long established culture of paedophilia under the Church? Why is your region rife with rape, especially incestual paedopillia where fathers often rape and impregnate their own daughters? you are a liar... Uche was 26 years when Zik married her... stop your filthy lies https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uche_Azikiwe |

She is from Onitsha, Anambra State, Nigeria... It is very unfortunate that Nigeria is losing all her best talents... Australia, Canada and now UK are going for our high skilled workers...
In the next 20years if Nigeria refuses to check itself, the helms of its affairs will be handled by touts, Agberos and certificate less human beings...
Congrats Ebele... Congrats to Bahrain.....

nograv: Nonsense, there have been great black inventors, except oyibo rarely tell you about them..
Dr. Shirley Jackson : caller ID, call waiting, and the fiber-optic cable
Lewis Latimer : Carbon Filament crucial to creating a functional lightbulb
Marie Van Brittan Brown : Created the world's first home security system. (CCTV) closed circuit television
Lonnie G. Johnson : Super Soaker Water Gun
Charles Drew : Developed the first blood banks
Elijah McCoy : Developer of oil lubricant systems for the rail industry. His products were so well regarded that people didnt want imitations. Hence the phrase "The Real McCoy"
Garrett Morgan : This one may surprise Nigerians. This man invented the Traffic Light and pioneered the Gas Mask.
Mary and Mildred Davidson : Sanitary Belt and Toilet Tissue holder.
Be careful with your slave mentality and learn actual history.
A lot of great work was done by the BLACK race, without foolishness that you are attempting to say is science... Black America na Oyibo nah the topic wasnt actually about white or black... Oyibo in my context refers to people living in the countries, most Nigeria are dying to relocate to... You got it all wrong, its about Oyibo scientist... |

But also check their RTP scholarship deadline too thats if you intend to apply for scholarship... What percentage is your CGPA? Do you have a research proposal? You will probably need a supervisor and most time you need a proposal to achieve this feat.. Cheers and goodluck |

Tydata: Please gurus in the house, I need your advice.
I was offered admission at CDU, Deakin University and Flinders University to study Masters of Data Science, Masters of Data Science and Masters of physics respectively in Feb 2020. I am interested in obtaining a PR after studies, so I intend to choose CDU since it's a regional Uni and it's offers my preferred program of interest. Although, Data scientists is not in the skilled occupation list but I can nominate; Database Administrator or ICT Business Analysts since it is closely related to Data science as reviewed in the course content at CDU.
Just last week, I was offered a fully funded Queen Elizabeth Commonwealth Scholarship to study a two years M.Tech in Explorational Geophysics at Papua New Guinea University of Tech. to resume same Feb 2020. (I'm not too comfortable with the country because it's still a developing country).
Now I'm confuse.. Should I go for the scholarship and then apply for my PhD in Australia after my M.Sc since Papua New guinea is close to Australia or I should just go to Australia since I have the funds for my M.Sc program?
Please I need a swift response. I have just few weeks to accept or reject my offers.. This is a life time decision.. Please, a good advice will do me good. God bless anyone willing to help. Fully funded scholarship means saving some money.. PNG is a country whose affairs is also controlled by Australia... I will go for the scholarship if i were you and go for the PhD later... unless Australia is giving you scholarship for the masters too... the only issue you may have in PNG is facial beauty |
