the way some people are argueing here shows little or no intellect, i for a person do not like OBJ's Administration,he records some achievement while he failed woefully on some but to compare him with IBB to me is unfair, if we are making a point let us do it objectively |
it is unacceptable to compare OBJ with Babangida, even though OBJ did not achieved as expected but he performs far better than babangida, some of his achievement includes debt relief, telecommunication, minimum wage increment, banking sector, fighting corruption to some extent, pension reform act . |

if he is qualified and it is not against the constitution, why not if he wishes. |
i have not seen any nigerian politician that has achieved more the great Awo, if he can do what he did with little resources how much more would he have achieved with greater resources at our disposal at present, it is an insult on credibility for somebody to say awo has not achieved. |
people sayng awolowo was corrupt are either mischievous or uninformed. |
Good one from Mr Femi Falana. |
Amala all the way. ![]() |
From my own Assessment, i still think Amaechi is better. |

Then I cry for this nation, this is a very sad development. |
I dont know why many Lagosians are so gullible and shortsighted, nobody says Fashola has not done anything, but comparing Lagos earnings and his achievements i will rate him below average, remember we cannot compare some many other states in Nigeria to Lagos State, for instance the Budget of Lagos State for a year could amount to 6 years budget of another state in Nigeria, i think it is high time we stopped hailing mediocrity, all this people overpraising Fashola are his enemy, for instance in his first two years his performance was good, but later it began to subside. |
http://www.ngrguardiannews.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=31898:fashola-and-lasu-strike&catid=77:letters&Itemid=613 SIR: It is disturbing to know that a state that prides itself as a “Mega City” has neglected its four state-owned tertiary institutions to continue to wallow in continuous strike and crisis. One can only wonder what becomes of a mega city where the youths are regularly thrown to the streets as a result of prolonged closure of their schools. The on-going strike in LASU, AOCOED, MOCPED and LASPOTECH is almost three months old with the state government paying little or no attention to it. LASU, for instance, was closed down for six months last year as a result of internal crisis and national strike. This means that students of this institution have lost 10 months out of 20 to strike. The current strike embarked upon by the staff unions is in protest against the refusal of the state government to implement the agreement reached by the federal government last year with all education workers’ unions. For the benefit of the over 200,000 Lagos students who cannot afford to attend private universities; whose parents hardly earn a living wage; Governor Babatunde Fashola should immediately meet the demands of the striking workers. Fashola must also know that Lagos state cannot develop beyond the level of its educational development. Therefore, he should be willing to invest massively in education because it is only this that can guarantee the realization of the “Mega City” project. |
Non of the above but i think GEJ will likely win, but i would prefer a candidate like nuhu ribadu for presidency |
I Agree with the post, Fashola needs to do a lot of work on Lagos Road, and some of his problems i think are his praise singers, considering the IGR generated in Lagos every month i think Lagosians deserve more than this. |
I think Amaechi is really doing greatly, he is very focused and his major projects are people oriented, more power to his elbow |
@Efemena_xy thanks I am indeed grateful for your response, May God bless u. |
Please which bookshop can i get a good programming textbook on visual C#, please urgent response will be appreciated. |
EFCC led under FARIDA WAZIRI is just a toothless bulldog as far as i am concern, what has she done with the allegations, or the speaker too is covered by immunity, she is just ineffective. |
Among these two performing governors , who is better in terms of performance, |
ribadu |
Nigerians are so used to mediocre performance, For somebody to say he is the best, we have to place hw much lagos earns and performance side by side, he has done some developmental project, but i think lagosians deserve much more, nigerians need to start demanding high performance and stop praising mediocrity. |
Words without action, what has she done to the corrupt politicians, despite the allegations of corruption in the national assembly no step has been taken, she just like talking. |
