Transfer your fund from wise to crypto dot com or use Cex. That was the route I use yesterday to move my fund out from wise.

I used to use CDC, via the SEPA account issued to me. But at a time, they sent me an email that the account is no longer functional but didn't issue me any new one, despite several months of my disturbance. Then I started using Wise p2p on binance, which just stopped working.

How does the Cex work with Wise?

There are different exchanges that offer it. Others may be cheaper. Also, you can just monitor the market until someone with a better rate puts up a trade.

Please give examples of those other exchanges, thank you.

Meanwhile, Wise just responded to my mail, stating that they have resumed sending money to USD domiciliary accounts in Nigeria.

RESHARPENED:
Don't even think about using a domiciliary account. That's a 100 times worse. Financial institutions in Nigeria are riddled with incompetence, criminality and fraudulence.

The Fintechs are not much better.

You want to keep your foreign earnings as far away from them as possible. Plus if you make the mistake of opening a domiciliary account, you'll have to jump through needless hoops just to get a fraction of your money.

You stress to make money. You stress more to withdraw your money.

Avoid anything that'll cause you to have foreign exchange dealings with a Nigerian institution. Be it banks or Fintechs.

On that note, here's a better solution to your problem:

1. Get an international passport/driver's license if you don't have one.

2. Open a wise account.

3. Open a crypto . Com account.

3. Open a binance account.

4. Use your wise account to receive payments.

5. Transfer the payment to your crypto . Com account.

6. On crypto . Com, buy a coin with low gas fee.

7. Transfer the coin to binance.

8. Sell/exchange the coin for usdt/busd on binance.

9. Use P2P to withdraw your money to Naira.

10. Enjoy.

Bro I sent you a Dm. Please respond. Thank you.

It disturbs the "harmony" in the society. Try not to do it again.

Those who are still doubting, I think the message is that you should not be shocked if you experience it. It is not a new thing.

Anyone can experience it. In fact, many experience it at babalawos' and pastors' places all the time. That doesn't make it spiritual. It's simply a subconscious event - without the awarenesses of the consciousness center.

At which share in the bus was the fellow seated? Who's sitting next to him in the box?

At what point did you notice that he's disappeared? Can the person sitting next to him attest that the seat was occupied and suddenly became empty? Can this fellow sitting next to him describe the clothes he was wearing?

First, what you described isn't reincarnation.
Reincarnation occurs when the soul of a dead person reenters the body of a little baby while still in its mother's womb and is born to begin another journey of the mortal life.
What you just described is just your imagination playing tricks on you.
It happens to a lot of people.
You were thinking of the person at that moment without even realising it.
During such periods, the brain acts just like a corrupt computer disk.
The information about the dead people is there. The brain makes attempts to bring the information to consciousness but because you've already sent it to the "trash", it doesn't come up as active information.
That's why you don't even realise that you are thinking about the dead person.
Then in a moment, you look and think you saw the person.
In that state of mixed surprise, fear and apprehension, adrenaline is released along with cortisol which raises your consciousness level.
The " corrupt" information quickly gets suppressed as the brain has something more important to do so the person seems to have "disappeared".

Yes, your explanation is true. It's a brain misfiring. But it's not a thinking thing (thinking is done with the prefrontal cortex); it's a subconscious process involving the hippocampus and the amygdala, without the necessary input from the prefrontal cortex. The prefrontal cortex (emotional consciousness center), which normally verifies and ratifies info from those two organs to keep things in check was momentarily suppressed.

Here's how it happens:
The hippocampus is the emotional memory center. From time to time, it flashes a memory and the prefrontal cortex processes it and keeps the amygdala in check by putting the memory in its place in consciousness.

In the OP's case, the prefrontal cortex was momentarily suppressed (either by hunger, stress, or any other thing) when the hippocampus flashed the image of the dead person. With the prefrontal cortex unable to keep the amygdala in check when the hippocampus flashed the image, it freaks out and triggers the fear response — sympathetic system, adrenaline, and subsequently cortisol.

The prefrontal cortex was shut out at the crucial moment. Now that it has been jolted up, the entire limbic system is telling it that it has to believe what happened to be real. A pathetic situation.

This is a hack babalawos and pastors have been using for donkey years — suppress the prefrontal cortex and suggest to lower brain (hippocampus-amygdala complex) that control emotional memory and response!

I have never believed in reincarnation but my eyes did saw one yesterday

Here's the story:

Year 2020, I think around may according to his parents because I can't recollect, this neighbor of ours and close friend to my sibling was into cultism.
There's was a cult clash at ikorodu that year and he lost his life, I wasn't told I was there life when police released his corpse to his parents and I was even part of those who digged the grave he was buried. Two years ago oo..

Now, this is year 2022, I saw this boy at orile, he wanted to board the bus I was in with my girlfriend. Immediately we both saw each other I wanted to scream but I couldn't I don't know how. But everyone in the bus saw my reaction, this boy disappeared on that spot.

This isn't a made up story, if there's any nairalander at orile bustop around that time will testify to this.

Omo! I still can't believe what I saw, I cried till I got home, my girlfriend was shocked and speechless as well. How did he do that? How did he disappear in midst of people? Why is he not dead? There's obviously something spiritual about this that I'm not told.

His mom has been hospitalized since we got home and I explained everything that happened. He was her only child. This is so disheartening and scary as well

You just had a mind event. Your hippocampus played a fast one on you. And your amygdala is feeling you with fear as it should.

The fact that he supposedly disappeared immediately on recognition tells me is a hippocampus dirty job.

If this becomes repetitive (not necessarily the same person or thing), we tag it hallucinations. watch it to know when you need to seek help.

Now in this your example, what happens when the price of beans does not change no matter how much money is pumped in?

The more you call people giving you genuine reasons textbook people, the more you make me laugh.

You still see money as the paper used for exchange. The real money is the goods and services, not the printed paper. Once you understand this, you will stop your argument.

You are still giving another textbook analysis.

Let's say the price regulatory agencies maintain the cost of goods and services despite giving every Nigerian N5m naira. That's one of the points OP pointed out

You make me laugh.

Who produces those goods? Who offers the services? The person with free #5m?

control price? never sustainable in any market. If I produce at #10, you can't force me to sell at #10; I must add my markup.

It appears the responders I'm getting on this issue are plain textbook analysis and not even addressing the issues from the points I posited, especially that the fears you raised, my post envisaged it already?

Can prices be controlled, if not what then is the usefulness of the Pricing Regulatory & Control bodies we have in the country?

What happens to the urgency of Capitalists to get more people employed as to meet rising demands associated naturally from too much money chasing fewer goods?

I can see that you bought into the "Capital is the key to economic growth" scam. It's a pure scam from the west to keep Africa poor. Productivity is the only route to sustainable economic growth, not the sham growth from influx of capital. China grew from being productive, not flooding everywhere with cash.

Even in the Western model that uses monetary rates to drive growth during recessions, they tighten their belts during periods of inflation by raising rates to reduce the money in circulation, which would in turn bring down inflation. Flooding the market with money leads to excessive inflation and a bubble, which would eventually burst and you end up with a recession or even a depression. The current rising inflation globally is a result of the excess cash floated to tackle COVID-19. The excess cash caused a bubble, so much so that people started paying hundreds of thousands and even millions of dollars for jpegs (NFTs) and shitcoins were doing 100x and more. Well, the bubble has bursted as the Fed started applying breaks (raising interest rates). Despite the threat of recession, the Fed isn't removing their leg from the break anything soon (maybe 2023/2024) because it's better to tackle inflation than end up with stagflation.

You talk about price control mechanism. Experience has shown that you can't forcefully control the market, it always backfires. The best is for the market to control itself through competition.

Printing money, especially during periods of inflation is calling for a bubble. When the bubble bursts, it's always catastrophic.

Go see a cardiologist. You need a thorough examination and work up. They will have to check your Kidney function.

At least, they must check your electrolytes, urea, and creatinine and do abdominal scan to check your kidneys. Their findings would determine whether to refer or manage themselves.

please help me look into this brother

a street friend though is well to do, him and his gf stay far away and you know this girls you can hardly trust them, my guy have trust issues perhaps because of their distance relationship

she came over, they had sex on 24th stroke 25th of June, she was suppose to see her next period on 7th of July, she didn't see it, she informed my guy about it, my guy was worried but the babe said she should calm down that it might be because of stress or sth, till on the 11th of July the period didn't show, so my guy force her to do x-test on the 13th of July, that urine test and it came out positive that she's pregnant though they're yet to go for ultrasound test

what's the possibility of him owning the pregnancy please?

Sorry for the late reply; I don't frequently visit here.

If truly her period was to start on the 7th of July, then she ovulated on the 23rd of June. Depending on the time, her egg could survive by the time she visited on the 24th. If sex happened on that 24th, there's a chance the guy could be responsible for it.

But let them do ultrasound to find out if the pregnancy if way beyond. For example, if the ultimate says 14weeks, she's already pregnant before coming to visit your guy, but if it says 10 weeks, then pregnancy resulted from the June ovulation — it could be from your friend but could still be a foul play (sex a few days before the visit to your friend).

you're wrong. hcg levels can be detected in the blood as early as 7-10 days after conception which means many pregnancies can be detected before a missed period even on a home strip test.

it's a 50-50 for OP. but I think from the story the lady is likely playing games

I understand that some people have a hard time understanding or following arguments.

Your response is in order, but I'm not contesting the validity of the test, but the timing vis-a-vis the intention.

A woman doing a PT 13days after sex (without waiting to miss her period first) shows she's anticipating something!

I am telling you from experience that an early detector pregnancy test can tell you when you're 1-2 weeks pregnant. They only count it from conception though.

So a woman who's last period occurred 5 weeks ago (which is how long a doctor would determine her pregnancy to be) would actually see a result of 1-2 weeks on her pregnancy test.

Google "Clearblue Early detection test" if you don't believe me.

You aren't following my argument. I said no normal lady would do a random PT 13days after sex.

But if someone has a plan or is expecting something, she would. For example, someone on fertility treatment or praying for a long time for pregnancy might start checking earlier out of anticipation.

The lady here doing a test on the 12th shows she's anticipating something that's why she couldn't even wait until she misses her period before doing the test.

Was it blood pregnancy test you guys did
If yes, it doesn't tell the duration.
take her to a neutral place and do ultrasound scan to determine the duration of the pregnancy
Then if the time frame coincide with when you both had fun sorry to say you're responsible but if there's a disparity from the set day from the scan result then it's possible she had sex some few days or even the previous day and wants to pin the shit on you

Sperm stays 72hours in a woman's body after
sex, during this period the sperms travels to fertilise the eggs that a matured and once fertilised there won't be a second fertilisation.

If a girl gets pregnant after 2 days she can have sex with someone else an try to pin it on the later if she's not comfortable with the first person

Bro tell your fiance and be ready to be a father if it turns out the timing coincide

Ultrasound is a waste of money. Cannot stand in court. The earliest ultrasound have +/- 1week accuracy. But he may do it for doing sake in case the girl try to pin a 2 month pregnancy on him.
Family / Re: Am I Responsible For The Pregnancy Or It Is A Setup? by studentofTruth: 7:42pm On Aug 19, 2022
Ngozi123:

It's possible. Especially if she's pregnant with twins or multiples.

@OP, she might be telling the truth. There's some early detector pregnancy tests that will show a positive result even 1-2 weeks after conception. You should have her do an ultrasound to get a more accurate result, though.

Not true. It's an obvious setup, and here's why:

No matter the menstrual period, menses start coming 14 days after ovulation. And it's after the period is missed (doesn't start on the expected day) that a woman becomes concerned about pregnancy — many women won't even bother until several days later to give room for normal body variation.

So, even if she ovulated on that 30th July, she wasn't supposed to expect her menses until 13th and could only get concerned by 14th (the whole of 13th must pass because it could have been by night) if she's that sensitive. If she ovulated on the 29th, there's a chance the egg has died by 30th because eggs last 12 hours (at most 24hrs) but even at that, she would be expecting the period on 12th and would only panic and go for test by the next day, 13th (the whole of 12th must have to pass because it could flow at any moment) if she's that concerned.

A test done on 12th shows it was a trap, and he walked into it.

At Op, the chances of being the father is low. Nobody does a random pregnancy test 13 days after sex.

Yet your Peter Obi without achievement in his Anambra state, lives in Tinubu's Lagos. The joke is on you and Peter Obi.

While Peter Obi was graduating with D pass in philosophy, Tinubu on the other hand was working as a first class accountancy graduate for international companies such as, Arthur Andersen, Deloitte, Haskins, Mobil etc

Tinubu fought for the democratic government and free speech you enjoy today while your Peter Obi was nowhere to be found..

While Tinubu was improving Lagos and initiating wonderful ideas in Lagos such as lekki trade zone, BRT, Lekki seaport, Eko Atlantic, millennium schools, policy to increase Lagos revenues etc..

On the other hand, your Peter Obi was investigating his state funds into his family business cheesy. Now he lives in Tinubu's Lagos.

No way you can sell your monumental failure of Peter Obi who's got no achievement whatsoever and lives in Tinubu's Lagos where Tinubu initiated Eko Atlantic, Lekki seaport, lekki trade zone, BRT enormous increase in Lagos revenue etc.

Obi helped Anambra get an international airport (money for the airport was secured by him), Changed the entrance to Onitsha from headbrigde, reshaped the face of Upper Iweka, modernized Anambra education system (with many awards to show for it), laid good foundation in health care (building state university teaching hospital at Awka), gave the government of Anambra a secretariat, built Odumegu Ojukwu University (Igbo Ariam), created Awka/Onitsha/Nnewi master plan, and many more.

Built fire service stations in many towns in the state. Any town with a sizeable market and economic activity got a fire service stations. Though the successor didn't maintain most of them after he left. I was schooling in Enugu then and had friends schooling in Anambra, so I know a lot about Obi's tenure in Anambra.
