Tgiirl: Many riders don't even know where their pin point is on the app.
I have done 5 trips today and only one rider use his actual position to request.
I noticed that when some riders want to input their destination on the app, they swipe instead of tapping which automatically move the pin from their position without them knowing.
Like u disagree. My 4th rider argued that his pickup was right. I waited for him to sit in the car and show him my phone displayed screen. After he saw it, his reply was; its an error from Taxify.
Riders will rather blame the driver or Taxify for their mistakes instead of learning from their mistakes.
2ndly, the driver is on the road you re not. If there is a moving traffic, a driver knows matter than the rider in his room except the rider is standing by the road side whereby the driver is near From the app U can see the driver as he makes his way to the pickup location...U'll know if he's taking a wrong turn or if he's not where he said he is. ...like I said, many don't know any other thing about the rider's app asides, requesting (which they dont do well sef.) Rating and making complains... |

You'll be notified on the rider's app that your ride has arrived as soon as the driver hits the "arrive" button...
Most riders don't know anything asides requesting and rating drivers...and to complain. |

veeluv2015: The driver already knows where the rider is. If the pickup location is different from what d map says, I believe the rider will mention it.
I'll rather ask where the driver is and do the time estimation myself than ask how long it'll take to get here. So I disagree that the question is annoying. You "believe" (Assumption) Just speak for yourself. |

oluwaseunla: If you can ascertain the 'good toks conditon' thingy, you are probably good to go.
Personally though, I feel rentals is safer for both driver and owner. If you save the money for repairs for those two years, you should probably have something close to acquiring your own vehicle. A lot can happen in two years. But that is just my personal opinion. True. |

brogxy: Many riders don't know how the app works but look down on you when you try to educate them on how to use. They believe drivers are low class people not knowing that it's conditions that made many to drive. There was one rider that chose a bus stop as her pickup location, called her when I got to the location only for her telling me to ask around for a certain hotel (they believe everyone is like them that knows all hotels around). Took my time to explain to her that she only need to let the GPS pick her location then set destination. Only for her to repeat the same thing. Back to the one that told me to ask around for a certain hotel, she ask for a landmark around so that she can direct me. Naugthy me used a school as a landmark cos I know people like that won't know places like that except hotel, bars, eateries... I picked 3 girls from UNILAG, when I asked for destination, "Oga, just follow Ur fone GPS, I have put the address there" was her response and continued on their gist...from the app, destination was V.I whereas I heard one of the girls say the place they were going is in Shomolu. Me I just acted the mumu they expected and drove on...they noticed I was going the wrong way, the girl in front asked me if I was using the GPS, I just showed her on my fone, that was when she realised she had put a wrong destination address. Las Las, I got ₦1200 for a ₦800 trip |

brogxy: Taxify gave me 15 trips reactivation bonus + Uber's 17 trips left. I was already dreaming of how I get 10k bonus from both app. Anyway, I can still make 16 trips on Uber but 5 trips on taxify is what I am not sure of. I hope to get both. Thanks insurance will take it up. I was lucky that the bumper is made of rubber, no cracks on it with the was it was folded. It's even the loss of my number plate that is stressful That taxify 5k bonus nah saarra money o...15trips in one week? ...and nah so I miss the bonus too. |

brogxy: I am having a very good day I must say. Today of all days that I woke up feeling excited to work and even dreamt that I met someone that gave me good luck. Not knowing this would happen as early as 7am. The idiot was busy dragging the road with me. I don't know how Nigerian drivers behave, they believe they must drag road with you, increase their speed once you signal to turn. Even the Uber drivers do that a lot. This is what I have been battling with since 7am. The idiot gave only 7k after everything. My number plate stolen right on the road, will have to go through the stress of police report, affidavit, getting another one. That is the bumper under the vehicle. Sigh Sorry Buddy... I hope U have comprehensive insurance bcus that 7k won't do much... |

Went offline and came back online severally to ensure my car was visible. Ecentually I left after about 3hours without any request. While over 10 cars came and left with riders. I don't entirely believe the proximity thingy joor... I feel they just pair randomly bcus there are days I will get to a place and meet like 5 drivers and within minutes I get a request within the same proximity as these drivers...I even met a guy with 98% activity score while mine is 95% and I still got request b4 him. |

The stupid CS come add salt to the injury by saying I should be more careful next time and be concerned about riders well being... Me: Tell the lying girl to show me proof of injuries and I'll refund whatever she has spent on treatment. CS: Don't call her that! Me: U r intentionally being biased and U know it... I was hit for cry out loud... U didnt even ask if I was also injured or how bad was my car damaged. CS: We are sorry to hear that... Me: We!? CS: Have a nice day Me: I will. |

Gentlelife50: That's it they only after themselves, they think if you drive faster the fare will be low. If a rider tell me to drive faster I always change am for them. If anything happen they won't even help, selfish riders. The annoying part is that people with this kinda attitude don't own a car...and can't drive. |

Last night I took this yeye girl from Ifako Ijaiye to Jakande estate, she kept complaining that I was drive too slow despite the condition of the road and that I was doing it intentionally to boost the fare. I just ignored her.
As we got to where I was to make a U-turn to enter Jakande, a vehicle hit me from behind tossing us to the other lane, when I got out of the car, the Mofo has zoomed off. I asked the girls if she was alright and she answered me with " Just drive me to my destination, I don't need Ur sympathy" Me: like I have it to give U sef
On getting to her house, the fare was 2600, she said she's gonna pay me 2k for wasting her time... I told her I won't take 2k so she should pay me so I can leave. She start mouthing off jaggons and paid me which was my immediate concern.
This afternoon, a lady from Taxify called me to ask about what happened between me and the rider so I narrated my own side of the story only for her to say that the girl was injured in the accident which was a paper thin lie. I told the lady to get me proof and I'll pay for her treatment which I know won't happen.
Lass lass, she said I should be more careful with riders.
Things we see in this biznez eh...
