Called rider and she said she isnt in house of assembly, I should come to d secretariat. Block 1. I got there. At the parking lot. Her pick up still shows house of assembly.
I waited like 12mins, no show, if i cancel i wont get paid, she called after 15mins+, that i should come to some other parking lot. When i tried to, the security men said i was going the wrong way...at the same time she was calling and shouting "where are u" I got frustrated and confused and had to cancel d trip and find my way out....
The next thing she sent these 2 sms I just acted i didn't see them. But the thing dey vex me like dis Whats ur thought guys? Ignore her. |

Nah wah o...
Nothing drivers eyes no go see finish for the biznez...
They called us many names, tagged us lazy and criminally minded individuals...
They rubbed bakery biznez and selling bobo and bigi coke on our face in the name of "side hustle"
Lemme not even start with problems we face with riders...
...and here is another person that wants to put us in uniforms...and chains.
I'm waiting for the smart investor that'll come and insert micro chip in our skull so as to manage us well...
Nonsense! |

GAZZUZZ: How involved where you in the purchase of this vehicle? Did you insist on inspecting what you were paying for? Did you send a mechanic (your mechanic) to ensure what you where paying for was worth every Naira? On this same thread I have warned about Nigerian used cars and low budgets, those two things do not fit in same sentence, In future try to be more involved with your investments, a lot of you where also scammed by the "peugeot" managers previously simply because most of you just sat in the comfort of your homes and transfered hard earned money to complete strangers to buy Nigerian used cars from abuja and kaduna (as if money is picked up on the streets in the north)
To the next person that will soon Get scammed, wake up and get involved in your investment decisions, if a car will be bought, go and see it first, ask questions, if tyres will be bought, buy them your self! And send to the manager, if engine oil will be changed, have it changed in your presence. Do not just assume every one is to be trusted. my father used to say opportunity makes a thief. Minimise the temptation and opportunities, Do things your self sometimes.
Meanwhile this is an allegation, and we are waiting for a robust response from herbwilliams aka fleetdrive.
I think fleetdrive is going under... I contacted him a few days ago to enquire about any available car for rental, he gave me another guy's number who also runs a fleet coys to call and get more details... I later learnt from a friend driving one of his cars that he's transfering the cars to another fleet coy to manage. |

lexylexy: My brother, you can do it. Tell you what to do, enter Lagos, use your first week in Lagos to study the roads with the help of Google maps. Enter brt from oshodi to ajah, ikeja to yaba/ojuelegba, lekki to airport, study these routes. When you start work, always let your rider know you don't know road, tell them you're new in Lagos, there's no shame there, they will always direct you, some will frown and give you low ratings, just move on.
Some incidents are most likely to occur, latsma/police will collect from you, danfo/keke marwa will surely scratch your car, take it as a learning experience. After one month of constant driving, you'll have mastered a few major roads . You're lucky your brother is the one giving you the car, he will always understand.
I know some niggies that started like this and today they are pros. Experience is the best teacher. I strongly believe in the saying that what doesn't kill you, will always make you stronger. Just give it a try. In other words, U r asking him to quit his teaching job to do trial and error with ehailing? Besides, the car he'll be driving on trial does not belong to his brother even if he's the one managing it. |

I called him he started explaining how the last driver was saying he can't go to ikorudu this night and was also complaining that it is a card trip. I just end the call immediately and go offline before I get his request again. You are going to ikorodu from ikoyi this night and using card too. Hmmmmmm u go sleep for ikoyi today. Lol |

cooldood: Hello,
It seems drivers now want partners to dash them their cars- if you want to do rental, i thought it’s common sense to pay the rental fee in advance rather than in arrears.
Anyway if you are a serious driver and wants a good car for Uber drop your WhatsApp contact here, Camry 2004 is available.30k weekly, mainland resident driver preferable.
Cheers. What do You expect when car owners give out dead cars...and still request for deposit and 3 guarantors? |
