Since taking the oath of office as Nigerian President, Muhammed Buhari has travelled to over 20 countries and if this continues, He may be the most travelled Nigerian President. In all countries travelled to, President Buhari hasn't gone alone. Most times, He has always had some Governors on His travelling list to those countries. Good enough, we have seen Governors from both the PDP and APC on his foreign trips. However, not all Governors have made the trip or may make the trip. Which state Governors do you think may never accompany President Buhari on any foreign trip ![]()

Other state governors are tirelessly luring investors into their states and ensuring the security of lives and property, Gov.Wike is busy flexing with His evil gang in Spain few days after securing the mandate of His pocket aides at the House of Assembly to a loan of another N10Billion. Like Rivers, Like Ekiti God dey look us with him okporo eye oh |
You see how politics makes us stupid? It was this same Igbos in Bayelsa State that rallied around Gov.Dickson few months ago in support of His second time ambition. They even went ahead giving him the highest title over there and surely millions exchanged hands. Today, He was won and has abandoned them to be slaughtered on daily basis. We should be more concerned about our security and future that money that perishes easily |
TippyTop:Have u forgotten that the main budget was tampered with by PDP elements within the budget office? Same thing happened to the education and health estimates which then necessitated the withdrawal and resending of the budget. The NASS Appropriation Committees should rather have worked on the amended budget and not the first one that was manipulated by enemies of Nigeria from within |
Report has it that as the students of the University of Portharcourt remain resolute to drag the attention of the University Management to look into their grievances over arbitrary fees imposed on them, the President of Faculty of Management Sciences Students Association (FAMSA) has been shot dead by men of the Nigeria police. The report also has it that there is serious tension as sporadic shootings in and around the campus continues.

The New Initiative for Credible Leadership (NILC) has warned Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State to stop instigating Nigerians against President Muhammadu Buhari. Executive Director of the group Reverend Steven Onwu said on Sunday that the planned protest against Buhari on Thursday in Port Harcourt is uncalled for. He said that announcement by facilitators of the protest tagged "Occupy Nigeria Season 2", where they revealed that a protest was being planned against federal government’s inability to solve the perennial fuel scarcity in the country is mischievous and that the mass action apparently being sponsored by Governor Wike was because President Muhammadu Buhari consistently maintained his neutrality in the state’s rerun poll instead of supporting him as he had expected. "The issue between the Minister of Transport and immediate past governor, Rotimi Amaechi and Wike has reached its limit. It is the reason Wike is sponsoring the so called ‘Occupy Nigeria Season 2’ to both embarrass and sabotage the Federal Government. If this is Wike’s strategy of getting at President Buhari for not taking sides in the re-run elections then it is very sad. "Mr President displayed the maturity expected of a statesman by neither siding with Amaechi nor Wike; so why should the governor now be trying to burn the state simply to spite the FG," Onwu said. He also urged all those invited for the protest to ask critical questions before making themselves available. He said: "Our advice to student bodies, NGOs, CSOs, CBOs and any other person or group that has been contacted for this paid protest is that they should read between the lines and understand what it is they are asking for. The economic situation in the land and the associated fuel crisis are already being dealt with from what is being reported in the media so what else is the protest meant to achieve?" Nairaland, post things from only reliable, CAC registered news media who are sueable. For me, this post is a big trash that should not be promoted or accepted by right thinking Nigerians |
N/B: Nairaland Please Stop Posting News From Extremely Partisan And Unreliable Source Please (http://nkiruhomann.com/2016/04/09/live- results-update-fctdecides-unofficial-final-results-collated-far- unit-unit-basis/) . So That You Can Save Your Reputation, Objectivity And Integrity In Your Reportage: The Independent National Electoral Commission has declared the by- election held at Ife Central State Constituency in Osun State inconclusive. The Returning Officer, Dr Francis Oladimeji, who made the announcement after the collation of results from the 11 wards in the state constituency, said the result could not be declared because of the violence which led to the disruption of collation at two polling units. According to him, fresh election would be held on Sunday in the two affected polling units, Agbedegbede and Moore Ojaja, both in Ward Three in Ife Central State Constituency. He explained that the report of violence recorded at the two polling units led to the cancellation of 872 votes, saying the margin between the two leading candidates was 710, making it imperative to conduct a fresh election, as stipulated in the Electoral Act. Dr Oladimeji further explained that the number of cancelled votes exceeded the difference between the two leading candidates. There were reports that suspected political thugs had earlier disrupted voting process at the two polling units, with attempts to snatch ballot boxes from INEC ad-hoc staff. You remember? "Resist arrest", "Beat them and kill", " Write your Will" etc.... Those were the words of Gov Nyesom Wike to his party men to kill and maim electoral officials and voters during the stalemated Rivers rerun elections. And Now, one of the governor’s men who apparently obeyed his evil directives has been rewarded. Mr Cyril Dum Wite an Ace sports broadcaster and SA to Gov Nyesom Wike on special projects who was on march 19th 2016 in Bori, Ogoni, headquarters of khana LGA of Rivers State paraded by security agencies before newsmen after been arrested alongside four other boys with fake police and military uniforms, huge sums of money and arms/ammunition packed in a toyota highlander jeep At INEC office in Bori has now been finally appointed to replace the suspended Rivers works commissioner Engr Kevin Nwachukwu. Cyril Dum Wite is to supervise the works ministry pending his expected confirmation by the state Assembly. Gov Wike in a statement issued by his SA on electronic media Simeon Nwakaudu yesterday suspended the Rivers State commissioner for works Engr Kevin Nwachukwu without giving any reason for his actions, and directed his SA on special projects Mr Cyril Dum Wite to take over the ministry with immediate effect. Engr Kevin Nwachukwu who is a peaceful and gentleman who obviously could not have been able to carry out the governor’s "kill them" directives. Observers believe Nwachukwu's gentility and peaceful disposition and his inability to do the governor’s bidding in his LGA could have informed his sack.

Reports just reaching us from Ekiti state indicate that the 19 All Progressive Congress (APC) lawmakers pushing for the impeachment of the state governor, Ayo Fayose have been dealt with by the officials of the Nigerian army. The nineteen APC members of the Ekiti State House of Assembly were on Tuesday barred from entering Ado-Ekiti, the state capital by soldiers, The Nation reports. It was gathered that the lawmakers, who were led by their Speaker, Rt. Hon. Wale Ominrin, were allegedly stopped at Itawure by armed soldiers carrying out order from the above. The majority leader of the House, Hon. Churchil Adedipe, who was in company of eighteen other members at a press briefing in Osogbo, gave a graphic illustration of how they were stopped by the soldiers even when police officers were ready to escort them into the state. According to him, the lawmakers had earlier notified the police about their coming into the state for their legislative duties. Adedipe, who vowed that they would not be prevented from impeaching the state governor over allegations of constitutional breaches said, he suspected that the soldiers that stopped them from entering Ado-Ekiti were acting on directives from Brig. Gen. Aliyu Momoh commanding 32 Artillery Brigade, Akure. He said for over two hours, the soldiers stopped them from proceeding to Ado Ekiti, disclosing that information gathered by some of the lawmakers who made calls to people waiting for them at the state house assembly revealed that Governor Fayose had imported thugs to the premises of the Assembly. The opposition lawmakers expressed fears that the governor might send thugs to attack them as well as burn their houses in order to stop them from the impeaching him, but assured him that any moment from now, they will be going back to Ado Ekiti. Speaking earlier, Omirin, said Fayose has committed impeachable offences and would definitely be impeached. He said the nineteen legislators had fixed their sitting for Tuesday to continue legislative activities on the investigation into allegations made against the governor but Fayose sent soldiers and thugs to stop the lawmakers from sitting. “Despite officially writing the Commissioner of Police, Taiwo Lakanu, informing him of our sitting, Governor Fayose, his Special Adviser on Political Matters and Commissioner for Works still led thugs into the premises of the assembly to disrupt activities there,” he said. Source: https://www.naij.com/417016-soldiers-stop-19-apc-lawmakers-from-entering-ekiti.html This happened barely 11 Months Ago In This Country And The APC Lawmakers Didn't Protest To The National Assembly Or To The International Community Through Their Embassies. Peter Obi is going no where. If not for anything, I am sure the Supreme Court backed leadership of the PDP in Anambra state won't give him the party's ticket as they have vowed to stick with Mr.Okonkwo |
Only if GEJ had got the political will
Only if Dasuki's greed had allowed him
By now Boko Haram would have been a thing of the past.
The blood of the innocent will continue to hunt these evil-bed fellows |
This must have happened only in either Kenya or Zimbabwe |
PDP really need a Lai Muhammed now. He is my best party spokesman. Everything He exposed were confirmed PDP now preaches hatred, division, and falsehood all in the name of playing opposition politics If they continue with this immaturity, thuggery and rascality, then they will NEVER return to power in Nigeria again. They seem not to have learnt any good lesson or repented from their unpardonable deeds |
Also in attendance were many serving governors of the
party and past state governors including Rabiu Kwankwaso
of kano state who is now a serving senator.
Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara is
also present just as the Senate President, Bukola Saraki
and the former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar arrived the
venue of the meeting after it started. www.vanguardngr.com/2016/03/buhari-tinubu-atiku-apc-caucus-meet-aso-rock/ Which do we believe? Nigerian media has lost professionalism in reporting |
Gov Nyesom Wike and Rivers PDP has impersonated INEC's
Resident Electoral Commissioner for Rivers State, Elder
Aniedi Ikoiwak. The over zealous governor out of
desperation just a while ago, released fake election results
and forged the REC's signature. He has also announced
same on some radio stations in Port Harcourt claiming it's a
provisional result from INEC.
Meanwhile, INEC in a tweet a while ago said the commission
will be meeting with the Rivers REC on 23rd March, 2016 in
Abuja to take final discission on the Rivers rerun stalemate.
Recall the commission had earlier today announced the
suspension of all activities on the Rivers rerun election.
This is a case of serious perjury that must be investigated
and necessary punishment meted on the perpetrators
accordingly.

Go and ask Goodluck Jonathan where he has worked with his PH.D in zoology. |
Rt.Hon.Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi is as untouchable under Buhari As Diezani Madueke Under Jonathan. |
He also did this to gain American citizenship? This is a big assignment indeed.I wonder how He will cope and for how long? Anyway, Goodluck Bro. |
A serving major in the Nigerian Army and three soldiers have been reported killed in Abonnema, Akuku-Toru LGA, Rivers state this afternoon by unknown gunmen. The details of the killing remain sketchy at the time of this report. Meanwhile, The Rivers State chapter of All Progressives Congress, APC, says it will make the details public as soon as they are available to the party. I have written few books including one on relationships and marriage. Its content is very rich as I borrowed from the experience of others, research and my knowledge base. However, few friends I have consulted so far seem to be discouraging me from publishing the book since I am not yet married. They insist that I can't write about what I don't have practical experience in and suggested I delay the publication till I am married. I am confused. Nairalanders what should I do please Kindly drop your advice |
Everybody seems to be condemning the act but no one is condemning the man behind these gruelsome murders. You see why Rivers State needs the declaration of a state of emergency? |
This is pure falsehood.
Why are these cheap online media platforms behaving this way.
Must you deceive the public simply because you hate a man or his party?
This is purely unprofessional
There was no such time when this concocted story in this report happened.
Perhaps, the anchor of the programme on Lovefm was a man and not even a woman. |
Disowning the son you had even before the formation of the PDP and APC is simply unfortunate and ill-informed. This simply explains what politics has degenerated into especially in Rivers State. So being one's son amounts to doing away with one's freedom of political association? I still believe Charles can't just be lieing against His father even to the extent of daring to prove his allegations against him. Let's watch keenly There is sure more to this father and son drama For now, Charles is yet to response to the disowning story from His father |
The Difference Between Amaechi And Wike: Security As A Case study The exit of former governor, Peter Odili, and the subsequent short-change of Amaechi's mandate by the PDP, which led to the emergence of Sir Celestine Omehia as an illegal Governor for few months left Rivers State with serious security challenges. The hike of which landed Rivers State in a state of emergency. Thank God the Supreme Court then has her judicial sanity intact and with that, Amaechi's mandate was restored. Amaechi met a load of challenges with security standing out as first, because security is very crucial to the execution of any development plan. Criminality was every where in the state with militants, armed robbers, political thugs and cultists ravaging the entire state. Like a Messiah Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi came in, cooperated and supported the security agencies and consistently gave no hand of friendship to criminal elements in the state. Suddenly, sustainable peace returned to the state, with the bad boys either repenting or running to another safe haven outside the state. However, few months to the 2015 general elections the security situation in the state began to worsen especially with the arrival of the controversial police officer, Mbu Joseph Mbu and the deadly political interests mounted by former President Goodluck Jonathan, His Wife, Minister Wike and few of their allies in the state. Things completely went out of hand during and after the general elections and until now, Rivers State still suffer unprecedented wave of insecurity even under Gov.Wike. It is a common knowledge that Gov.Wike and men of His party are those behind the series of violence and bloodshed that has befallen innocent people of Rivers State. Sadly enough, the Governor is doing absolutely nothing about the security situation in the state. So far more that 70 persons have been gruelsomely murdered especially in Ikwerre, Portharcourt, Ahoada-East and West,, Ogba/ Egbema/Ndoni, Asari-Toru and Akuku-Toru Local Government Areas of Rivers State among others. Surprisingly, the only place where the Governor chose to visit was Yeghe and Bori in Ogoniland after the clash between Soldiers and militant boys loyal to Chief Solomon Ndigbara. He even visited the mortuary, yet he has never done such in other parts of the state despite gravy circumstances in such other areas. His visit to Bori and Yeghe appeared to be sympathetic to only PDP members and those recommended as her loyalists. Perhaps this informs why Governor Wike didn't visit the burnt liaison office of Sen.Magnus Abe and the families of other APC members who were also murdered in the course of the brouhaha in Yeghe. This discriminatory move by the governor should never be mistaken as love for the Ogoni people as it was a clear plot by Gov.Wike to walk on the grave of Ogoni sons and daughters all in an attempt to malign the candidature of Sen.Magnus Abe ( a true and worthy son of Ogoni). As a Governor, Chief Wike became so heartless that He couldn't even visit any of the families of those beheaded regardless of whether their deaths were cult-related or politically motivated. A Governor is supposed to be a Governor of all but sadly enough, Wike of Rivers State is an ugly exception. Showing exemplary leadership, the former governor of Rivers State, the Rt.Hon.Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi thought it wise to visit the family of the late All Progressives Congress Ward 4 Chairman, Hon. Frank Obi, who was killed and beheaded with his wife and son by unknown gunmen in Omoku, Onelga in Rivers state. And I am confident He is going to extend such condolences to others that have been slain under the Wike administration. As a matter of urgency, Rivers People and Nigerians at large should join me on calling on Gov.Wike to visit the Amaechi Security Magic Roadmap and enrol in an apprenticeship session with His former boss to ensure that Rivers People are secured under his watch. He has succeeded at imposing himself on us as Governor, everybody in River State mustn't all die because of Wike's style of rulership. All hopes aren't lost as March 19th will provide us another opportunity through the legislative rerun polls to secure our lives and properties, this we can achieve by voting enmass for all APC candidates. Happy Sunday Friends #BitterTruthSeries

Peter Obi can't get the party ticket with the Supreme Court recognised party leadership against him. Except he intends to run on another political platform. If at all he will find any legal succour there |
Thugnor.Wike has declared war on APC members and supporters in Rivers State. All thanks to the Supreme Court who confirmed his violence, bloodshed and rigging. |
THIS IS AN APC MEMBER BURNT ALIVE TODAY IN RIVERS STATE BY MEMBERS OF THE PDP. AT WHAT POINT WILL RESCUE COME TO THE MEMBERS OF THE APC IN RIVERS STATE OR IS THIS THE PRICE THEY HAVE TO PAY FOR SUPPORTING THE APC? I NO FIT TALK!!! WATER FULL MY MOUTH!!!

SycophanticGoat:You should hide your madness and ignorance from a public forum for once. Is Amaechi from Omoku, or any other village in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area of Rivers State? Perhaps, in the politics of Rivers state, who is known to be bloodthirsty between Wike and Amaechi? Where you not in Nigeria during the 8 years of Amaechi's administration? Did you hear of any such inhuman acts? These are Wike boys going beyond his control. And this same boys that Wike seems to be against today are same people that killed and rigged for His victory. This insecurity under the watch of Gov.Wike against only APC members will certainly bring him to his doom. Rivers state under Wike can not avoid a state of emergency or an impeachment even from his fellow PDP members. |
So why reminding us now?
Let the dead rest on |
Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State in the western part of Nigeria has accused President Muhammadu Buhari of plotting to run down his government in the state. Fayose is a governor under the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and has remained a staunch critic of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, and the president. The governor, popularly thought to be controversial, warned on Sunday that his government and state would not be intimidated by the president. He accused the president of sending officials of the Department of State Service, DSS, to distabilise his government. DSS operatives had reportedly stormed the state on Saturday and reportedly arrested four of the House of Assembly members. No reason has been given for the action. In reaction, Fayose declared that even if his State was invaded by one million armed men of the DSS on the order of President Buhari, the government and the people of the state would never be intimidated to surrender governance of the state to “political desperadoes, whose four years reign destroyed the economy of the state.” The governor, who said the DSS under President Buhari was operating beyond its constitutional mandate, added that “the government of Ekiti State may have to reconsider the usefulness of men of the DSS in the government house and other institutions of the state government.” In the reaction released on his behalf by his media aide, Lere Olayinka, Governor Fayose said the APC- led Federal Government was pursuing a clandestine agenda of truncating democracy in Ekiti State and other PDP-controlled states like Rivers and Bayelsa. “If Buhari likes, let him relocate all DSS men in Nigeria with the entire ammunition in their armoury to Ekiti, the will of Ekiti people can never be broken. They will only try, and like they have always done, they will fail because dictatorship has never triumphed over the people. “Even Buhari’s dictatorship between 1984 and 1985 ended one day and Nigerians will also outlive his present dictatorship,” he said. The governor said the DSS under Buhari’s kinsman, Lawal Daura, has abandoned its core mandate of providing intelligence for the protection of the internal security of Nigeria as provided in the Security Agencies Act Cap. N74 LFN, 2004. “Instead of assisting the police, military and other security agencies with classified matters, we now have a DSS that is running after perceived opponents of the president, arresting goat and fowl thieves as well as husbands who assaulted their wives. “If the DSS was alive to its responsibilities, we won’t be having Boko Haram insurgents killing Nigerians, all these kidnappings and Fulani Herdsmen killings, raping and destroying farmlands in the South-West, South-East and North-Central zones in the country would have been nipped in the bud,” Fayose said. He said the same way President Buhari used the National Security Organisation, NSO, headed by Ambassador Mohammed Lawal Rafindadi from Katsina State is the same way the President is using the DSS, headed by another of his kinsman to harass, oppress and intimidate Nigerians. “It is obvious that democracy in Nigeria is becoming unsafe in the hands of Buhari and his APC and those keeping silent now because of politics may also end up in the belly of this roaring lion that is threatening to consume our democracy. “Therefore, Nigerians and the international community should take special notice of the use of the DSS and Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, to muzzle opposition. “As for me, I wish to say once again that I am not among those Nigerians that are afraid of harassment by any agency of the Federal Government. “I make bold to state that in the overall interest of democracy and well-being of Nigerians, I will continue to speak my mind on issues bordering on governance in Nigeria. I will not be intimidated!” The governor said. Source: www.pmnewsnigeria.com/2016/03/06/buhari-planning-to-run-down-my-government-fayose/
